62 New training, Nirvana

Jason sighed when he saw the price of the first part of Body Refinement, 25,000 SP was a figure he could not afford to. He decided to focus on awakening all his attributes completely quickly in order to level up the system.

Jason looked at Semiramis and Medea who had been watching him all this time.

"I'm going to the training room, I don't want anyone to bother me" Jason informed them.

"You can train in peace, I won't let anyone bother you" Medea assured him.

Jason said goodbye to them and headed to the training room.

The training room was a completely empty square room with magical runes all over the walls, floor and ceiling.

Magic runes had many functions, one of which was time. Inside the training room time was much slower than outside, exactly one day in the training room was one hour outside.

The training room had been created by Medea when she created her "temple" at Hanging Gardens of Babylon and is the only room inside the fortress that Semiramis cannot control. Jason and Medea are the only ones who can activate or deactivate the effects inside the room.

Another of the magical runes had the function of attracting the energies of nature inside the room. This was a rune originally created to help the Nekoshou train their Senjutsu, but it was also very beneficial for Jason.

Jason sat in the center of a square formation, he made a series of hand gestures and several magic circles that were on the walls moved towards the magic formation.

Jason inhaled a breath of air and expelled it again, reaching the Nirvana at once.

In shramanic philosophy, nirvana is the state of liberation from both suffering and the cycle of rebirth. The person who attains Nirvana attains a state of maximum concentration and all unnecessary thought disappears.

Jason could reach so quickly thanks to one of the magic runes that Medea had placed inside the training room.

Nirvana Rebirth is a rune from the age of the gods that Medea learned when she trained with her teacher and aunt Circe. This rune allows the person who uses it to increase their ability to concentrate about 100 times.

Of course, this rune cannot be used by everyone as it has a drawback, the rune applies inhuman pressure to the body of the person using it. At first it was not a problem because it was a rune used by demigods and humans with blessings from gods, but people who could not bear that pressure died because their internal organs were crushed by the pressure generated by the rune.

Jason was not a demigod nor did he have the blessing of any god, but he had the body of a dragon and had an Ashura soul. Although Jason's dragon body was still young and weak, he could barely withstand the pressure exerted by the rune.

Even though he could barely withstand the pressure, that pressure continued to damage Jason's internal organs. Jason needed another rune to heal quickly.

That rune was the one that attracted the energies of nature. Although most of nature's energies were useless to Jason, it was precisely the negative energies that so affected the Nekoshou that benefited Jason.

When Jason entered the Nirvana state, he put all his concentration on his Ashura soul and absorbed all the negative energies that were attracted by the rune.

The negative energies were absorbed by the Ashura soul and made it grow little by little. Jason then used the power of his Ashura soul to heal his wounds.

A beneficial side effect of this training was that Jason's body became stronger and stronger thanks to the pressure emitted by the rune.

This was a training method that Jason had discovered by accident. Jason almost died when he used the rune for the first time, he believed that with Siegfried Blessing he would not have to worry about the pressure exerted by the rune.

Apparently the effects of the rune were not counted as a change of state as when Jason trained with gravity, probably had to do with the fact that this rune came from the age of the gods.

Jason was focused on healing the wounds that were appearing at the same time they were being healed. Jason then decided to test the idea he had.

Jason could see a strand in his mind, he recognized this as his mental power. Medea had explained to him in the past that mental power was a white strand that appeared in the mind.

The mental power was the power with which the mana is used inside the body of the person, the greater the mental power the greater the power you can add to those spells. A person can have a lot of mana but not have the mental power to use it all at once.

Jason had then come up with an idea, What if we could divide that strand into several strands? Jason had asked Medea and she had only replied that it was so dangerous that no one had tried it in the past.

If a person tried to divide their strand of mental power into several strands and failed it would be the same as if your mind was destroyed.

Brain death.

Your fate would be even worse than death, your body would still be alive but no longer have a brain to guide it. Something like a zombie but without the need to eat human flesh.

Jason didn't try it in the past because he was afraid of ending up that way. But today he had the courage to try to do something that no one had ever tried to do in the past.

Jason focused on the strand of mental energy. He visualized in his mind what he wanted to achieve and forced his own mental energy to separate.

An overwhelming pain reached Jason's brain, but he was able to endure without problems thanks to the state of Nirvana.

The filament had split slightly but was still there before it could split in two. Jason continued to force his mental energy to separate.

The filament gradually broke until there was only a small piece left before separating completely.

Jason took a breath to calm down, he was right now in the most important moment.

The last piece separated. Jason separated his concentration in two, grabbing the two filaments when it seemed they were going to disappear.

Jason breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that the two strands had formed smoothly.

Jason then used one of the remaining strands to heal the internal wounds that had formed during the process.

Once the wounds were established, Jason focused his attention on the remaining strand.

"Let's see, I guess I'll start with the lighting," Jason muttered.

Jason focused on the ray that was running through the inside of his veins, intermingling with the fire inside the blood. He put all his concentration on the ray in trying to make it come out in a way similar to fire or ice, without getting satisfactory results.

The hours passed quickly inside the training room. Jason was going to try to use his Thunder Magic again but was forcibly removed from the Nirvana State.

"Why did you deactivate the runes, Medea?" Jason asked without opening his eyes, there was only one person other than him who had control over this room.

"It's time to go back to school, Hubby."
