75 Meeting the leaders

Azazel drove a few streets in London before entering an alley. After leaving the driveway, Jason found himself on the road leading to a large institution.

The sports car stopped in front of the fence. Whoever was controlling it seemed to recognize Azazel's car and opened the doors.

Azazel parked the car, and they both got out. The fallen angel headed for the main building, and Jason followed.

"Where are we?" Jason asked Azazel.

"Grigori Institute, home of the fallen angels. Inside is also Nephilim, a school we created to teach people to control their powers," Azazel told Jason.

People looked strangely at the two of them walking together. Everyone was wondering who was the boy accompanying their governor.

Azazel and Jason entered the main building.

"This is the main building of Grigori High School. The underground is where we have the labs to research Sacred Gears and other types of powers. Here are also the main offices of Grigori" Azazel introduced Jason to the place.

"How slow you are, dog" A boy ran down the main hallway of the building, a lycaon with a sword-like edge in the forehead ran behind him.

The boy seemed to be the same age as Jason. The boy had dark silver hair and ice-blue eyes.

Azazel smiled when he saw the boy running by. The boy dodged the dog and ran again. Now he was heading towards Azazel and Jason.

Azazel grabbed the boy by the shirt and lifted him off the ground.

"What did I tell you about playing in the main building? Go back to Tobio and don't bother the others" Azazel reprimanded the boy.

"And you" Azazel pointed to the dog. "Go back to your teacher."

"Yes." They both nodded and ran away.

Jason didn't say anything when he saw this situation. He felt that this boy was familiar to him.

"Come on. I'm going to introduce you to the rest of leaders," Azazel told Jason.

Jason nodded and followed. The two climbed into an elevator and climbed to the top floor of Grigori High.

When they left, Jason realized there were only two rooms on the top floor. One place said "Governor" and the other "meeting room."

People having a conversation could be heard from the meeting room. Jason assumed that inside were the people Azazel wanted to introduce him to.

"Let's go."

Azazel entered the room, and Jason followed him.

The first thing Jason saw when he came in was a meeting table. There were a total of 9 seats of which seven were already occupied.

The seven people inside the room were quiet when they saw both of them go in. Most had strange expressions as they looked at Jason, only Penemue was calm.

Jason seemed to remember the beautiful woman since she was also at the Burger King when he and Azazel first met.

"Welcome, Governor" Everyone followed the etiquette and greeted Azazel with respect.

"You are still the same as you were a thousand years ago and I have been saying for a thousand years that you should not greet me as this" Azazel reproached them.

Everyone sat down without paying any attention to Azazel's words.

"Is he the people you wanted to introduce us to?" A handsome man in his twenties, with silver-white hair and purple eyes. His outfit consisted of a purple beret hat, purple trench coat over a black vest, white pants and black boots.

"This is my second adopted son, Jason." Azazel introduced Jason to the rest.

"Jason, these are Grigori's leaders. They are Shemhazai, Baraqiel, Kokabiel, Armaros, Sahariel, Penemue, and Tamiel."

"Nice to meet you." Jason bowed politely to the leaders.

"I can' t accept this!" A man Jason recognized as Kokabiel struck his hand against the table and shouted at Azazel.

Kokabiel has the appearance of a young man with long black hair and red eyes, and unlike other Fallen Angels, Kokabiel has pointy ears. He wears a black robe with detailed accessories.

Azazel was not surprised by the reaction of his subordinate. Kokabiel's belief that fallen angels were superior to the rest was well known to the rest of Grigori's members.

"Why?" Azazel asked Kokabiel.

"Last time I said nothing as he was the owner of Divine Divider and was Lucifer's descendant. But this time you have brought a normal human who has no power at all" Kokabiel protested.

"A weak human?" Azazel asked in surprise.

He looked at Jason and was surprised when he remembered that the only thing he had noticed in all this time was when he accidentally collided with Jason. Even then they crashed because he hadn't been able to notice Jason at all.

His curiosity for Jason increased.

"Do you have something to say, Jason?" Azazel looked at the boy who had not yet shown any expression on his face.

Jason looked at Azazel and then looked at the rest of the leaders.

"I'm sorry." Jason leaned toward the leaders.

The leaders were surprised.

"Why do you apologize?" Penemue asked.

"For hiding my true aspect from you."

Jason starts his transformation. Jason's body grew to 180 cm. His clothes changed, a black sweatshirt and shorts of the same color appeared replacing the school uniform.

Jason's aura, which had been sealed up to that point, untied and covered the entire room.

The leaders were on their guard. Azazel was surprised because Jason's aura seemed vaguely familiar.

Jason looked at the leader who had lightning running through his body. He should be Baraqiel, Akeno's father and Shuri's husband.

"Does your sacred gear have the soul of a dragon?" Azazel asked.

Jason looked at him. A smile appeared on his face.

"Sacred Gear? I don't have any of that."

"So... Wait, you're a dragon!"

Azazel was surprised, and all the leaders followed him. They also realized that his dragon aura was different from Vali's, and that was because Jason was a real dragon.

"But this isn't the aura of a dragon either. There's something mixed with it," Azazel muttered.

Azazel remembered. That dark energy that he felt had nothing to do with the aura of a dragon. It must have been that dark energy that was mixing with Jason's dragon aura.

Azazel concluded: Jason was not a pure dragon, and his other bloodline was even more terrifying than that of a dragon.

"Kokabiel, am I worthy of being Azazel's son?" Jason asked in a mocking voice.

Kokabiel could only shut his mouth. His own words had drowned him. If he had "accepted" Vali as a user of a Sacred Gear that owned a dragon, he could not reject Jason when Jason was a real dragon.

Jason and Azazel said goodbye to the other leaders and left the meeting room.

"Where do we go now?" Jason asked Azazel.

"Don't you have anything to say about the rest of the leaders?"

"They're nothing special," Jason answered, sincerely.

Azazel was surprised. Azazel was surprised when Jason had never changed his expression in the face of this "threat." Azazel didn't think Jason could beat them all together, but Jason had to have the confidence to escape them at the very least.

"Now let's see some special guys, they're not fallen angels either, and they're pretty strong among your generation. Although none of them may be up to you individually, they're pretty good as a team.

Jason nodded. He was getting an idea of the people he was going to meet next.
