A week has passed since Rias had that conversation with her parents. Turns out the whole Riser Phenex situation is actually happening, truthfully Rias had stopped thinking about it. Originally she assumed that the engagement contract would've been brought up to her years ago. So either the Rias from the original DxD timeline also learned about it at the same age, or it's just happening at a different time for her current self.

Another difference is that unlike in the canon story where Rias' parents, more like Zeoticus, forced her into the engagement. The Venelana and Zeoticus of this timeline did no such thing. Since they know of their daughter's chaotic nature along with her being a True Dragon. Lord and Lady Gremory knew it would be a highly potential disaster if Rias was to find herself being forced into a marriage. Especially a marriage to a man.

It would've been foolish of them to risk upsetting their daughter in that manner.

Which is why they chose to talk to Rias about the situation first in order to make the correct decision.

Truthfully, Zeoticus and Venelana had honestly expected their daughter to outright reject the engagement.

However, once they saw a smirk form on Rias' face, as well as a certain gaze in her eyes. Lord and Lady Gremory instantly became very nervous, they knew their daughter well enough to know that this expression means Rias is about to unleash her chaotic nature onto whoever is the unlucky target.

Hearing their daughter's plan, Zeoticus and Venelana agreed with it. Especially Venelana since she did not like how Lord Phenex is trying to use Phoenix Tears as a way to subtly pressure her husband. It's highly insulting considering that Lord Phenex is only a Marquis while Zeoticus is a Duke. Zeoticus doesn't mind it since he understands that Lord Phenex is not a threat. The Gremory Clan has access to their own healing products thanks to his lovely daughter.

Honestly, the only reason he's even entertaining the engagement contract is because he's slightly interested in how the blood of the Phenex and Gremory Clans will mesh together.

He's just glad that Rias did not react badly over this.

At the present time, Rias and her family were having dinner at their family mansion with guests. Those guests being Lord Phenex, Lady Phenex, and their 18 year old son Riser.

Obviously they were only here to discuss and finalize the contract of the engagement between Riser and Rias.

Shirone and Kuroka were here too, spectating in silence.

"So Lord Phenex, let's talk about the terms of the contract." Zeoticus suggested.

"Very well Lord Gremory, with the conversations that I have had with my son Riser. He has told me several terms he wants in the contract." Lord Phenex replied.

"As expected, what are his terms?" Zeoticus could only hope the boy wasn't foolish enough to come up with outrageous terms.

"Once the contract is signed, my son wants Rias to not be allowed to have any peerage members who are males. She's only allowed to have women and those women must agree to join my son's harem if they wish to be in Rias peerage. Any children that Riser has with Rias her members of her peerage will belong to the Gremory Household. Also Riser will demand of Rias to be used as a sex slave to any male Phenex member of his choosing. Those children that she has with Phenex Clan members other than my son will belong to the Phenex house. Lastly, once officially married my son wants the Household of Gremory to permanently ban Rias from ever being able to return to the Gremory territory." Lord Phenex stated his son's terms confidently.

Riser also nodded, showing his approval of his set terms.

Lady Phenex on the other hand felt so embarrassed and horrified. She knew of Riser's desire to input the peerage clause. But she had no idea of the other terms. Just what in seven hells was her husband thinking even speaking of these so-called terms at all, let alone agreeing with them.

In front of Sirzechs Lucifer of all people!

Did her husband and son go mad when she wasn't paying attention?

She shuddered in pure fear when she felt Sirzechs and Venelana's demonic power start to leak out.

"Lord Phenex, would you care to repeat those terms again? I'm afraid I must've heard incorrectly? Because I'm positive you did not just suggest that my father should sell my sister off as a se-" Sirzechs cold voice was cut off by Rias.

"Big brother, calm down." Rias' voice instantly made Sirzechs stop. He took a deep breath and glared at Lord Phenex without saying anything else.

"Excuse me Riser, I would appreciate it if you stop leering pervertedly at my daughter in front of me and my husband." Venelana told Riser.

He's been blatantly leering at Rias ever since he saw her. Showing he has no respect for Rias or the Gremory family at all.

Not wanting to antagonize either Satan Lucifer or the Madame of Extinction any further. Riser stopped looking at Rias.

Zeoticus had to keep himself from killing Lord Phenex. He's never known the man to be so bold.

"I hope that was a joke Lord Phenex, I will overlook your words if they are only a joke." Lord Gremory said in a hard tone.

Kuroka had to stop herself from laughing at the idiocy of Lord Phenex and his son. As if she will ever let Riser touch her, Shirone or Rias.

Shirone just stared at the father and son in a deadpanned stare.

Rias internally applauded Riser, he just made her job 10 times easier.

Lord Phenex cleared his throat. "We can…change up every term except the peerage clause."

Rias spoke up before her father could. "Fine, just make it so the other terms only take place after Riser and I officially marry. However I have my own terms to add in since it's only fair considering the Riser's own outrageous terms."

Lord Phenex looked at her and nodded. "That's fair, speak your terms."

"Simple, in case Riser or myself want to break off the engagement. A rating game or a one on one battle between us must take place. If Riser wins, the Gremory family will accept all of his terms with no complaints. However if I win, not only is the engagement nullified. You will give up your wife and daughter to me." Rias smirked.

Now this shocked everyone except Venelana and Zeoticus due to them already knowing of their daughter's plan. This isn't even her full plan.

"A-Are you insane?! Why would I agree to-" Lord Phenex was cut off.

"Either you agree or leave, you're lucky that I just did not outright kill you and your son. Stop wasting time and decide." Rias told him.

Lord Phenex was about to back out until Riser spoke. "We agree to your terms, not that you'll have any chance at defeating me Riser." Riser smirked arrogantly.

Sighing, Lord Phenex agreed with his son. "As my son said, we agree to your terms."

The Head of the Phenex Household knew of the rumors about Rias, but he decided to put his belief in his son's abilities. Plus his wife is replaceable, it's manly Ravel that he's worried about. He hoped Riser would begin training seriously in preparation for Rias in the future.

Too bad he had no way of knowing he will be regretting even coming up with this entire engagement idea in the future.

Lady Phenex looked at her husband and son with an expression that screamed hurt and betrayal.

Did she truly mean so little to them?

How is she going to explain this to her daughter?

Sensing her emotions in turmoil, Rias internally smirked, metaphorically patted herself on her back.

'She may not have their bloodline, but a milf is a milf. But Lord Phenex, you poor fool if you think I'm satisfied by only taking your wife and daughter then be prepared because it's only the beginning. I wonder what your expression will be once you realize this is the moment where the downfall on the Phenex Clan started?' Rias thought.

She can imagine the chaos she's going to cause, it made her shudder in pure excitement.

Rias glanced over towards Riser, she's gonna enjoy making him learn to fear her existence.

After going over the details of the contact one last time and signing it. The three members of the Phenex family left the Gremory mansion.
