Lee vs Ryu

Ryu and Lee had their legs crossed and were staring at each other. Instead of looking at him, Lee looked down at his feet.

Ryu smirked at Lee since Lee was still powerful at the time and was not as bad as he had imagined.

Ryu jumped from his other foot, aiming toward Lee's head while crossing his other foot with Lee.

*Baam*

Lee deflected the strike on his head with his arms in the last second but was sent flying a few feet back and fell into a kneeling position.

"Is this the best a leaf jonin could do?"

Every student was taken aback when Lee was sent flying, despite blocking Ryu's flying kick.

Lee stood up from a kneeling position and looked at Ryu.

'He has huge physical strength and excellent movements.'

"It appears that I greatly underestimated you."

Lee took his standing after patting the dust from his clothes.

Ryu couldn't want something more, yet he wasn't satisfied until he pushed Lee to open the third gate with pure Taijutsu.

Lee vanished and reappeared above Ryu, his right leg positioned to hit his head.

*Baam*

Ryu blocked out his kick through his forearm, sending him falling a few steps back, and he was now kneeling.

Ryu smirked as he sat down in the same posture as Lee.

'I was being too arrogant, thinking he couldn't scratch me without opening his gates.'

Ryu gazed at Lee, who had a broad smile on his face and teeth that sparkled in some way.

Rock Lee reappeared directly above Ryu, but he avoided it with a jump in the opposite way. Lee's leg shattered the ground when it collided with the ground.

Before Lee could lift the leg that had just hit the ground, Ryu slid in to attack his knee.

Lee twisted around and used his right leg to tackle the sliding Ryu who was going for his left leg.

Ryu saved his right leg with his palm as it was about to collide with his stomach, but the momentum of the slide dropped. He grabbed Lee's right leg and drew Lee's body towards his.

Lee launched his left leg towards Ryu, but with his Sharingan, he saw through the assault and lowered his head, dodging it.

Ryu struck Lee in the stomach with all the strength he could muster.

*Baam*

Lee was hit in the stomach and propelled 10 meters before crashing to the ground.

Everyone's expressions were frozen as if they'd seen a ghost and were unable to react.

Rock Lee's teammates were even more taken aback. They knew Rock Lee's strength better than anyone, and he was sent flying away in a pure Taijutsu combat with no chakra other than Sharingan.

"You gotta be kidding me!"

Lee got to his feet. He'd taken a lot of damage, but it wasn't enough to stop him just yet.

"Show me more strength. I know you have the power within you, and if you use it, I'll start using chakra as well."

Lee was taken aback because he knew Ryu was talking about the gates he could unlock.

"You're a fighter. I'll utilize it to demonstrate what a leaf jonin is capable of."

Ryu smirked, knowing what was going to happen next.

"The third gate, the gate of life: open"

Ryu could sense Lee's power erupting. The people present in the room were all taken aback by Lee's use of the Gate of Life here. It was the third gate and was primarily utilized when confronted with strong foes on the battlefield; utilizing it against a genin was overkill.

"Lee, Don't you think it's a bit much? "This is just a friendly sparring match."

"I won't kill him, but how could I ignore a person who is full of passion in their springtime of youth?"

"I don't think that's a good enough reason."

Ryu started using chakra as well.

Ryu's chakra control allowed him to use chakra to strengthen his body, and he was already a physical monster.

"Hehe, finally a worthy opponent to put my talents to the test."

Lee appeared in front of Ryu with a kick before anyone could react or say anything else.

Ryu used his forearm to deflect the strike. He had chakra increased himself, but it was far from enough to blow him away.

He was above Ryu this time when he got blocked out by his forearms.

"God-speed!"

Ryu's entire body was coated in lightning, with his hair standing straight from the lightning and his body emitting sparks of lightning that turned white.

Ryu used white lightning since black lightning was too powerful for this situation and his white lightning was more than enough for speed.

* Bang*

Ryu was hurled against the wall, but instead of collapsing, he landed on his feet and stood on it.

Lee appeared in front of him and attacked his ribs.

*Baam*

He landed on his ribs, and Ryu grabbed his leg, swung him around, and hurled him to the ceiling.

*Baam*

Lee landed on the ceiling, but before he could hold his position, Ryu appeared and kicked him in the ribs, sending him flying and crashing into the wall.

*Baam*

"You're far too powerful for a kid."

Ryu didn't want to give Lee time to recuperate, so he attacked him in the face, but Lee grabbed his punch with one hand and punched Ryu in the face with his other hand with a full powered blow that could that caused the walls to shatter from the impact.

*Baam*

Ryu fell directly on his back, creating a hole in the earth and shattering it in the process.

*Crackle*

*Crack*

The audience started murmuring. They'd never seen anything like it. They were having fun and sharing their thoughts.

"This must have broken his bones. I doubt he'll get up after that punch."

Ryu stood up slowly, his nose bleeding. He wiped the blood away from his nose.

"That did some damage."

The impact broke the earth, which Ryu described as "little damage." The entire audience looked at him as if they had seen a monster.

Ryu's nose bled for a brief moment and recovered in front of the audience's eyes, as did some minor injuries on his face.

"Am I hullicinating? '

"He takes little damage from such strikes and heals rapidly."

Lee looked at Ryu's getting up like no big damage was done when he ousted him with all his power.

"This fight has already devolved into regular sparring."

Ryu smiled at Lee. He expected more of him. He was fired up from the taijutsu fight.

"Show me what you have. The Leaf's Rock Lee."

The arena's entire ground was destroyed, and the ceiling was no exception. Even after that, Lee was the only one who was becoming weary, not Ryu. Ryu has already recovered from all of the injuries caused by devastating attacks.

*Baam*

Lee was kicked in the stomach and flung away once more. Lee was losing focus after his lengthy duel with Ryu.

"Don't lose your concentration!"

Lee was in the middle of flying away from the assault and about to crash into the wall when Ryu seized Lee's head, which was still flying away from the collision, and slammed it into the wall with a massive force, demolishing it.

* Baaaammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm*

Everyone in the room was speechless because they couldn't believe what they had just witnessed.

"What is that speed?"

Ryu was still standing tall while Lee was on the ground.

Lee rose off the ground, bleeding from the head, and appeared to be about to pass out.

"Let's call it a day. Thank you for your advice."

Ryu then placed his hands on Lee's and began sending his chakra to do some jutsu. Lee began to heal rapidly. He copied it from Sakura and from his knowledge from when he was at Kara, he was able to perform rapid healing on thers but not on the same scale as himself.

Lee was completely healed in no time, which amazed everyone.

'He is a walking monster with the ability to both destroy and heal people.'
