Code discovered a way to interact with Shinki.

Code used the merchant network to determine Shinki's location. Shinki had a training facility where he trained every day.

Code further noticed that Kakashi was being escorted throughout the city by shinki. As a consequence, he was difficult to contact. He was told to complete the task discreetly.

Code had been waiting for a chance for the last several days.

Code took a deep breath at task's constraint: 'Why can't I just kidnap him after killing Kakashi?' This is ridiculous.'

Today was an ideal day for Code. Shinki had been bugging Kakashi excessively, so Kakashi explained the process of creating purple lightning to him.

Shinki pounced on every hard, soft, and even used Guy until he agreed to teach him purple lightning.

Code rose from his seat and contacted Shinki.

Code walked onto the training grounds where Shinki was training.

'Of course, if anyone knows you, they'd agree, or you'd kill them.'

Shinki didn't feel at ease with Code. His life was on the line.

"What made you want to meet with me?"

Code placed an order for food.

"I'm a journalist, and I heard you were the strongest and recently faced a tough opponent. Could you please share the details with me if that's okay with you?"

Shinki felt a little relieved, but he didn't understand how he could ask such a thing bluntly.

'Doesn't he realize it's against the rules to reveal such information?'

"I'm sorry, but it violates our code of conduct."

Shinki was polite, but he couldn't give him the details. If he had, it would have raised more suspicions.

Code made a disappointed expression.

Shinki looked at Code and got a bad feeling again.

"I can tell you how I defeated him."

Ryu's injury had nearly healed, and he was sitting next to the unconscious kawaki.

He could see clearly once more.

"My head hurts like hell."

Ryu returned to the base with Kawaki after he regained consciousness.

"Susano" landed a punch on Kawaki. A black rib cage formed around Ryu's body, and a hand emerged from it.

Susano's punches began to land on Kawaki, beating him to a pulp.

Ryu came to a halt after five punches.

Ryu snatched Kawaki's body with Susano's hand and forced him to sit beside him.

"Tell me the whole story now."

This time, Kawaki spoke up.

"Previously, the person who came to guard me had the ability to create smoke that rendered the five senses useless and the brain fuzzy, making it difficult to make any decisions. Many people can't even maintain their sanity."

It made sense why Ryu couldn't see or smell, and he didn't use his other senses then.

'I was able to feel pain. Is it because of modification?'

"How did you get your hands on that smoke?"

Kawaki flinched a little but like a good boy started disclosing.

"He used to keep them in a small bottle that Amado had made for him to use in an emergency. He stayed here for several days, and one day when he wasn't looking, I stole one of them."

Ryu grasped the gist of what had occurred.

'He must be one of those who were wiped out by Boro.'

Ryu looked at Kawaki as if assessing his choices.

"Is there more left?"

Kawaki shook his head, "I used them all."

Ryu left Kawaki there wand went to take a nap, "Today was a draining day."

Ryu fell asleep as soon as he laid on the bed.

Jigen pocket dimension,

Jigen sat coldly in his chair, staring at Boro.

"Exterminate all Kara members on the list, Boro."

Boro took up Jigen's list of people he wanted to get rid of.

Boro opened the lists and saw the names of those who would be slaughtered.

Boro called out the names on the list.

"Alpha, Gaama, Beta, Thita, Pie, Rocket, Zoro, Ryu, Eida, and Daemon,"

"Are they the ones who should be ended?"

Jigen gave a nod of approval. Boro was getting excited as he smiled.

These were the people who could and had surpassed Jigen in terms of power.

After Code brought reports of investigation, he suggested Jigen the idea and requested him to place limiters in him.
