Amusement park

Over time, four years had passed since Ren, now Ganrai, came to the world of Boku no Hero, and he had been living the routine of the Kosei orphanage. Now, at four years old, he noticed his hair: the left side all red and the right side all blue. This caught not only the attention of the other children but also the nuns who worked at the orphanage. He had just woken up and opened his eyes when he heard the notification sound he hadn't heard since he was one year old.

Mission accomplished: Reach four years old.

Reward Received: Magu magu no mi and Goro Goro no Mi.

"Finally, my birthday has come, and I've turned four in this world, receiving my quirks... Now the burning question is how do I use them, or will it take some more time for me to activate them?" Ganrai thought as he tried to force his palms to reveal some of his quirks. He was about to give up when a small ball, the size of a marble, with the texture of lava appeared in his left hand, and sparks of electricity appeared in his right hand, making him extremely happy and chuckling.

"Hey, what are you doing?" a voice behind Ganrai asked.

"Oh, Shintaro-Kun, it's nothing, just checking if I got any wood splinters in my hands, was feeling a bit uncomfortable," Ganrai replied.

"I see..." the boy said with a somewhat suspicious look, about to ask another question when the door of their room opened, and an eleven-year-old boy stepped out.

"Hey, you two, hurry up, or Rose-Senpai will scold you if you're not in the classroom on time," the boy said.

"We're on our way, Yu-Kun," Ganrai said.

"Hurry up," Yu said before leaving.

"You heard him, let's get dressed and head downstairs quickly. You don't want to see Rose-Senpai angry again, right?"

"Of course not," Shintaro replied.

The two boys finished dressing and headed downstairs to the classroom where the nuns taught various subjects. Ganrai noticed that all the orphanage children were gathered there. Yu and Hana called them to sit beside them, and it seemed like it didn't matter where you sat. Ganrai ended up sitting between the two with Shintaro beside him, waiting to see what would be said in the meeting.

After a few minutes, Sister Mary appeared in front of the room. "Good morning, children. Due to our orphanage's tight budget, we couldn't do much for you, especially in terms of entertainment. The most we have is that playground and the TV where you watch cartoons. So, we met with the orphanage director, and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Kosei Orphanage, we'll take you to the amusement park that opened near our neighborhood today!" Mary said excitedly.

The children exploded with excitement, chatting animatedly.

"Did you hear that? We're going to an amusement park, how cool!" Yu exclaimed.

"Yeah, I've never been to one in my whole life," added Hana.

"All right, children, in 30 minutes, a bus will arrive here to take us to the amusement park. So, don't get lost, be around here at that time," Sister Rose said.

Thirty minutes passed, and the children lined up to board the bus. Ganrai sat with Shintaro, his best friend since arriving at the orphanage. Shintaro was the one who had chosen his name when he was still a baby, and since then, they did practically everything together, despite Shintaro being four years older.

The journey took about 20 minutes. Upon arrival at the amusement park's gates, the nuns organized the children into two lines and handed out wristbands for entry. As they were checking if all the children were present, a masked man descended from a motorcycle, brandishing a gun and robbing them.

"EVERYONE STAY STILL, THIS IS A ROBBERY!" the masked man declared, searching the nuns for valuables. Suddenly, a figure with white beard and black armor with yellow details and a red cape, wielding a sword, approached. The masked man quickly grabbed Sister Mary as a shield.

"Don't come any closer, or I'll kill her," the masked man threatened.

The armored man observed the scene in deep silence.

Next mission: Use your quirk to shock and paralyze the masked man for a few seconds.

Reward: Instant paralysis shock.

Failure: Lose in obtaining the reward.

"What? A mission at a time like this? And now there are failures? Screw it, I have to save her at all costs," Ganrai thought. Mary had been one of the people who had helped him the most since he came to this world. He couldn't let her die here.

Stealthily, he slipped out of the terrified children's ranks and impulsively approached within a distance the bandit hadn't detected yet. As the masked man was about to turn in his direction, Ganrai discharged electricity from his right hand toward the man.

"WHAT DID THIS BRAT DO?" the man exclaimed, dropping the gun and the woman he held. This distraction gave the armored man the perfect opportunity to approach and make a perfect cut on the masked man's chest.

"Pathetic, even taking children hostage..." the white-bearded man said before helping Mary up. He then glanced at Ganrai and moved away with Mary, having a brief conversation away from everyone's hearing before returning.

"Children, everything's fine now. Our dear armored hero has taken care of the attacker!" Mary said, happy yet somewhat cautious.

"Incredible, he's amazing, he cut that guy like he was slicing meat," one of the children commented.

"Now, children, let's go in and enjoy the park," Mary said.

For the rest of the day, after the brief traumatic incident, the children enjoyed the amusement park for a few hours before returning to the orphanage. Ganrai found himself lying on his bunk bed.

"Hey, Ganrai," Shintaro said.

"What's up?" Ganrai asked.

"You can fool the other kids, but I saw you using some power to immobilize that masked guy, and earlier, I noticed you doing something with your hands. Tell me, do you have a quirk?"

"Okay, you got me. I have a quirk that allows me to create things like lightning and magma, but don't tell anyone else," Ganrai admitted.

"Really? That's awesome! Don't worry, I won't tell anyone!" Shintaro said, clearly excited.

Throughout the rest of the night, Ganrai had to answer Shintaro's questions, even though he didn't exactly know the answers himself.
