(Lucius POV)

Damn. I couldn't help but admire the way my mother took down all those thugs. I know I gave her a super serum of some kind, but they amount of skill she has with those cleavers are something else. She had to have experience with using them or something similar in a fight. Not to mention her hand to hand experience. She was knocking people out and breaking bones left and right.

When she started to tire out, I realized how much weaker the serum was compared to something from Marvel or DC. Their serums would've easily allowed her to do so much more. I'll have to fix that later.

As I was contemplating all this, I noticed my mother slowing down and failing to land her attacks. I saw them making a grab for her while she wasn't able to resist anymore. Remembering what the leader said earlier, there was no way I could let some low life like this to lay his hands on her. Earlier was different as she was able to handle it and was clearly winning. I didn't have to worry about her losing, but in her current state, this wasn't going well.

I released the killing intent I had gotten from Orochimaru and he has done a lot of killing. Plus with all his inhumane experiments and changing himself into a body snatching serpent, these people must've felt like they were being eyed by a predator. I could see the fear in their faces and the shaking of their bodies. They were too afraid to even collapse let alone move. Some were even going slightly blue in the face from forgetting to breathe. A couple just passed out.

I was going to keep this up for awhile in order to allow my mother time to recover, but I then noticed a familiar face that was, though younger, easily recognizable. I stopped releasing my bloodthirst and allowed people to move again. everyone collapse to the ground while weak in the knees but after a couple minutes, they began to stand up gain. All of them except my mother. She was too exhausted to move. I would've released my bloodthirst again, but I saw Vander within range of the thugs.

As the thugs began to approach my mother in order to capture her, Vander quickly rushed forward and clocked the closest guy to my mother and launched him into a couple of the thugs near him. The sound of him metal gauntlets smashing that thug's jaw was so satisfying.

After some banter between Vander and my mother, the gang of degenerates began to flee. I guess Vander was still a force to be reckoned with down here. He quickly helped my mother up to her fight and began to talk to her. After a couple sentences, I was moved to the front of my mother's body and shown to him. He started acting silly and making weird faces. He was so different compared to how he was in the show. In the show, he was more strict and serious and seemed as if he was trying to teach Vi how to be a more responsible leader and that he had so much weight on his shoulders. I guess that rebellion and the resulting deaths did quite a number on him.

A few weird faces and a few conversations later, Vander proposed a business deal with my mother and offered a new place for her to stay at. We were going to move into the Last Drop that was owned by Vander after he renovated the place to allow more people to live in and install a big kitchen for my mother to work in.

We had to go get our stuff from the old place and move them over. Vander helped by pulling a cart filled with our stuff and after a few stops we were finally here. The Last Drop, in all its glory. Once we were in, we were able to see how small the living area was. It wasn't too bad, but it would definitely be too crowded for later.

It would take a few weeks for the renovation to be done. During that time, my mother helped Vander at the bar. She made drinks and waited tables. A couple people tried to get a little too handsy and received the full brunt of my bloodthirst, but I managed to control it better so that they were the only ones to feel it.

During this time, someone had approached my mother about purchasing her stall. The one who purchased it was none other than that blue fishman looking guy from the show. The one that the group visited in flash backs and that Vi visited after returning from prison. I thought that was a cool way to introduce him.

While here, I also got to see Silco. The dude comes by every now and then in order to drag Vander off for something, probably already making moves to control all of the Lanes before starting the rebellion. Other times, he would just sit at the bar counter and talk to Vander and my mom. A couple of times, he would even try to mess with me. Although not as cheerful as Vander, he was still better than his future self.

It continued like this for a couple weeks. Then, the renovations were done and my mother started working from the kitchen in the back and business got a whole lot busier. People loved my mother's cooking and it definitely added to the profits that Vander got from his drinks. The more they ate the more drinks they ordered. The amount of coin going through this place was astonishing.

It eventually became a place where people would meet up in order to have a sorta safe exchange of currency for a job. Vander noticed this and tried to keep everything up front and in order. It was like he became the mediator or negotiator and made sure everyone kept to their end of a deal. He didn't allow anyone to short change someone's payment. Nor did he allow someone to give knock off or faulty products while charging for something more expensive. He made sure everything was fair.

Some people lost business or coin when he stepped in, but the amount of people he helped outweighed all the ones who made a loss. This earned him a lot more respect and people even became his backup in case anyone tried to get violent. It also helped that he was the one pouring the drinks and that my mother who makes the food that everyone likes would come out of the kitchen with a pair of cleavers every time someone tried something. It seemed the story of what she did in the market area got around.

A few months passed like this and I was able to redeem a few more knowledges. I chose to received the knowledge of Mr. Sinister(X-men), Tsunade, Kabuto, Sasori and Lady Chiyo(Naruto). Three of them helped my with my knowledge about genetics and the human body and the other two supplemented my knowledge of poisons and their antidotes. Of course there were some bonuses like I could now use all or Tsunade and Kabuto's knowledge to perform medical ninjutsu and make deadly puppets with the aid of Sasori and Chiyo's knowledge. It also helped that my Orochimaru was so smart and had a lot of different knowledge to begin with. The Jenova cells I got from Sephiroth also seemed to help in further enhancing my brain and intellect.

I was now 6 months old. I was growing quickly in the field of the knowledge I obtained and with the cheat of having all knowledge being provided having to be reformed to the world I was in, the Knowledge I gained from the last few months also included knowledge that the characters didn't originally have. Their knowledge was supplemented with knowledge that coincided with theirs and belonged to this world. In other words, I gained medical knowledge that could be used without chakra, but it was only enough to provided first aid on the level of a field medic. I also gained knowledge on the poisons that existed in this world and their antidotes, as well as how to make some simple robotic puppets, but only to the level of a simple toy. I would have to study more on my own or redeem more knowledge that fit this world.

I couldn't wait for more chances to redeem more knowledge. Too bad time passed by so slowly when you're a baby. It doesn't help that I can't do anything, but try to move my limbs. I could crawl now, but unless my mother was trying to play with me, I didn't really have the desire to be active yet. I only did that to entertain her while I would rather just go over the knowledge I obtained. The knowledge I obtained consists of multiple people's lifetimes. It's a lot to go over in a short time period and while its all downloaded into my head and memory so I don't need to, going over it multiple times allows me to contemplate it and come up with new theories to test out later.

I never wished to grow up faster more strongly than now.
