Chapter 27 Anger
When Su Yang and Lu Ying were surrounded by the fire, two people were standing a short distance away.
A middle-aged man wearing dark clothes that show the many battles he's been through. His wrinkled face tells a story of fights won and lost, and his eyes hold fight power from years on the battlefield.
He looks really strong and tough, like a warrior who's been through a lot. His broad shoulders and strong arms show that he's carried the weight of his history and fought many battles.
Even though he's old, his chest still looks powerful and unyielding, like he's a young man. Just by being there, he gives off a strong feeling. His strong arms, tanned by the sun and marked with scars, possess a strength that seems unaffected by time.
You can easily imagine those powerful arms moving mountains or using weapons with a surprising elegance
There's a woman who exudes a strong and independent aura. with gentle lines on her face that hold stories of experiences and wisdom gained over time.
Even though she shows her age a bit, it only makes her more captivating, showcasing a serene and strong maturity.
She's dressed in a beautiful flowing white gown that makes her look both royal and like something out of a dream. The dress sways with the breeze, creating a magical atmosphere around her.
Her eyes appear distant and somewhat cold, yet you can feel there's a world of emotions and tales hidden beneath that exterior. Her looks are quite similar to those of Lu Ying.
While they both watched the fire, the woman standing nearby suddenly spoke up, her voice sounding angry and full of hatred. She looked at him and asked, "Why are you here?" It was clear from the way she said it that she was mad and didn't want him around.
After the woman spoke, the man turned his eyes to her. When he looked at her, his eyes seemed kind and caring.
He said, "Lu Wei, I know. I left when you were pregnant with our child, and I understand you were hurt at that time." As he talked, his voice held a bit of guilt, and Lu Wei could feel it.
"Do you know why I left you behind back then?" The man's voice wavered, carrying both sadness and honesty. His eyes showed a touch of sorrow as he went on, "I did it to save you and our child".

"Do you have any idea what I went through to shield her from my own family? They were aware of my daughter's ice body, and all they saw was a tool for a political marriage to make our family more powerful. I wasn't strong enough to fight them back then".
As Lu Wei voiced her feelings, a surge of icy energy seemed to radiate from her, causing ice spears to materialize around her. "So I had to escape from my family".
she continued with a determined tone. "I journeyed to numerous places, facing hardships along the way. It wasn't until my abilities reached a certain level that I could finally guarantee her safety." As the ice spears took form, they became a weapon aimed at the man. Surprisingly, he didn't dodge or defend himself. He just stood there, almost inviting the icy assault. And when the ice spears struck him, they seemed to find a target that wouldn't yield.
