CHAPTER 10

Amelia ate her food and she tried to make little conversation with Beatrice,she didn't know why but whenever she looked up,there was this smile Beatrice was trying to hide from her,after making sure that they had eaten the food she had poisoned,she stood up and excuses herself saying she wanted to go and finalize the burial arrangements.

Beatrice watched Amelia leave and started laughing, George told her to keep it low because someone might be outside but Beatrice didn't care,she was just happy that everything was going as planned.

Mom,when can I leave the hospital?,George asked her,let's leave tomorrow she said then we can go straight to our new home, our new home ?, George asked,yes the Carlos home will be our new home as from now on,just do as I tell you George and everything will be over soon.

I will make sure you don't step your foot into the house again ,Amelia said as she walked into the doctor's office to sign all the necessary documents to release her father's body,she took her phone and called her father's trusted aide and gave him instructions on what to do,she had earlier spoken to her son and promised him that she was going to see him soon and she was going to do all it takes to finish all her plans and leave.

After every arrangements was done,Amelia went back to her house,there she met the maid looking at her with sympathy in their eyes because they knew how close she was with her father,they were even more closer than her husband and she.

They all came to give her words of encouragement and hugged her,Amelia tried to control herself but she couldn't,she was really helpless towards the tears, after the hugs they all promised to keep her company and also asked her to take care of herself not only because of herself but also because of the young master.

Amelia thanked them for their words of encouragement and promised them that she was going to try her best to be happy,even though she knew there was a spy in the house,she didn't show any sign of suspicion.she left them and went into the kitchen to supervise what they had prepared,after making sure that no one was in sight,she added poison into her husband's food and went upstairs with a plate of food in her hand.

She told the maids not to wake her up because she was having a slight headache,as soon as she got into her room,she went to flush the plate of food down the toilet and brought out the one she had bought from a restaurant earlier.

Alex went to the hospital to see his mother-in-law who told him that his wife had gone home,he spent some time with her and also with his son who came with his mother to see his grandmother and uncle,they planned their next of action and Alex excuses himself out.

He got home and asked after his wife,the maid relayed her message to him,he went to freshen up and went down to have dinner,after eating he went back to bed to sleep.
