"Jessica." A voice called her name.
Jessica stiffened but quickly composed herself, turning to see Robert Jade approaching, Dorothy at his side.
She greeted him distantly, "Mr. Jade."
Robert's eyes were cold, filled with a strange regret as he looked around.
The crowd's expressions showed nothing but disgust and contempt.
Everyone despised them now, especially with the lies Jessica had spun with Robert to defame Eclipse at the police station.
To the outside world, this young couple had once seemed like the perfect pair: beautiful, rich, and destined for each other.
But now, everyone saw them differently. Jessica and Robert were the picture of betrayal, their once-polished images now clouded by lies and deceit.
