Reborn as Vegeta

The Main Character is unexpectedly killed by God, and as an apology for his blunder, Leon was granted a new life in the Dragon-Ball World. Reborn as Vegeta, he takes his true place amongst the stars as the greatest Saiyan King ever to rule. Author Note: This is something I found while clearing out my extra laptop, I sold it recently and found this old pearl, after a few days tweaking it, because I started this when Super first aired, it needed some fine-tuning timeline wise. I've already finished the Dragon Ball Saga, and if I'm to continue this, you should know that it will be very short. Winner of the Junior League Part One

Bulla's blast sent Raunch's body rolling backward against the ground. She slammed her hand into the arena, forcing her to regain her balance.

Smoke trailed from the tips of her fingers while Raunch slid more than ten feet. She finally came to a halt and looked up with a surprised expression.

Grasping one hand against the wound on her chest, Raunch stared into the approaching figure walking through the smoke and debris.

Raunch started to feel woozy as she realized the attack did more damage than she first thought. As she tried to stand up, she felt her knees quake.

Smacking her face a couple of times, Raunch fought off the urge to pass out. She then mustered together all her remaining strength and charged towards Bulla's position.

Bulla took a defensive stance, but her movements were slow and sluggish.

Just before Raunch's fists landed on Bulla's face, a large gust of wind swept around the arena, revealing that Radditz appeared on the arena. He was standing between the two while grabbing his daughter's fist, stopping his daughter's attack.

Vegeta also appeared beside his daughter holding her up as she fell limp. Vegeta then smiled as he said, "The winner is Raunch."

The announcer looked at Bra's condition and shouted, "Incredible, it appears, young Bulla has passed out standing up. Even in an unconscious state, this young Saiyan warrior is still eager to fight!"

Vegeta healed them both and said, "Good match you two."

Bulla started to pout. Tears formed in the corners of her eyes as she buried her face into Vegeta's stomach and cried out, "I wanted to win!"

Vegeta patted her head, "You managed to achieve True Super Saiyan God Purple, I'm proud of you."

"But I lost!!! I...let you down, papa," Bulla complained as she sniffled and held back her tears.

Vegeta chuckled, "You just achieved this form. So, it's only natural that you would lose!"

Vegeta patted his daughter's head as he hugged her and continued speaking, "But, winning isn't everything that's important. You got a lot stronger from this fight. Take that as a win and try your hardest to do better next time."

Bulla nodded her head and walked over to Raunch. She then held her hand out and said, "Thanks for the fight, Raunch Nee-Chan. It was fun."

Raunch accepted and shook her hand before saying, "Let's fight again someday!"

Raunch smiled before she pulled her arm and gave Bulla a big hug, "Aww...I can't resist! You're still so cute! You'll get even stronger from now on. I'm sure you'll catch up in no time."

Bulla nodded her head as she wiped the tears from her eyes, "Mn!"

"There you have it, ladies and gentlemen! The winner of the second match is Raunch!" Mr. Announcer said causing the crowds to cheer wildly.

The Metalman was up against Cello for the next match.

Guru had trained this young boy with the aid and knowledge given to them by Vegeta's wish.

Compared to their previous degraded state as a species, the Namekians became much stronger than in the original canon's counterparts.

Cello was the youngest prodigy they had. When he turned ten he became a true super Nemikan, and under both Guru and Kame's guidance, he had barely managed to achieve the state of Namekian God.

The metal man was actually part of the group Vegeta scouted out for the Galatic Patrol. They were slightly different than the Metalmen of Universe 6.

Unlike their Universe 6 counterparts, the Metalmen Race didn't get flustered when called bad names, instead, they were enraged by it.

The only other big difference Vegeta noticed was that they couldn't take compliments. If you said its metal looked shiny and cool, they would cease combat and hide their embarrassed expression.

Cello and Silvermaru stood across from each other ready to fight. As soon as Mr. Announcer gave the signal, they dashed towards the center of the arena and slammed their fist together.

Cello flew back, but he looked like he took no damage at all. The bones in his arms shattered one second and were repaired in the next thanks to his Namekian physiology.

Vegeta grabbed his chin and said, "Incredible, the regeneration abilities of the Namekians are truly something else. It seems to be even greater in the hands of this young Namekian."

"Hmph, he's alright, but he still has a lot to learn," Piccolo chimed in.

Cello disappeared from view and reappeared behind Silvermaru. He used his arms like ropes and wrapped up Silvermaru's body before trying to throw him off the stage.

Cello powered up and continued to increase his Ki levels. His face turned red while struggling to lift Silvermaru, and just as started to pick the metal monstrosity up, Silvermaru began spewing lava out at Cello, burning off and cauterizing the Namekian's arms.

Cello yelled out in pain, but no sooner than he did so, he used his Ki to cut off his arms past the burn markings and regrew his lost limbs.

Celle then pointed a finger towards Silvermaru and shot out a powerful concentrated Ki blast.

"Special Beam Bullet!"

The attack carried a lot of momentum, but, unfortunately, it bounced off of the Metalman's chest and barely made a dent.

"I see, I can't hold back!" Cello suddenly powered up, his antennae grew slightly longer as dragon-like scales formed on the surface of his skin.

Unlike Super Saiyans, as Namekians advanced through their stages of power, their physiques become more and more like real dragons. The colors of their scales differed on whether they started off as a Warrior or Dragon Sage.

If they were a Dragon Sage before becoming a Namekian God, their scales would be emerald green. If they were from the Warrior clan, their scales become red.

Cello's fangs grew more pronounced as his skin suddenly started to gain a red hue. A tail dragon's tail sprouted from the bottom of his spine while the scales gleamed like metal, and his claws became razor sharp.

With a loud dragon's roar, Cello sent out a shockwave that spread across the arena, revealing the Namekian God form.

Piccolo smiled as he said, "Well, it seems Namek has grown much stronger since I last visited."

The Metalman's eyes widened in awe as Cello charged towards him.

Cello's head slammed into Silvermaru's chest causing the giant metal construct's feet to slide backward. The giant living construct tore up the ground with his feet, not stopping until he felt himself being lifted.

Cello was aiming to throw him out of the ring with a single action.

In response to the threat, Silvermaru raised its hands and slammed them into Cello's back. The Metalman then grabbed the Namekian's waist with its metal 3-pronged claws digging into his flesh slightly.

Cello grunted but fought through his pain. As the Metalman tried to lift him, without any warning, Cello struck out with a powerful barrage of stretching punches that let him cover the distance.

Every time Cello's fist smacked against the metallic surface, the Namekian put dents into Silvermaru's chest while making loud ringing noises that echoed all throughout the arena.

Ding! Clang! Bang! Ding!

Hit after hit moved Silvermaru ever closer towards the barrier, lifting him higher into the air with every punch.

Silvermaru then spewed lava around them to gain space.

Cello backed off, and barely managed to avoid the molten material while cursing, "Damn magma monster."

Enraged by the insult, Silvermaru began to slam its own chest. Its body turned red and it heated up as the Metalman began to refine its own body.

Like steel being worked in the forge, the dents suddenly popped back out, revealing a new smooth and flawless surface.

Silvermaru then raised its arms up in a cocky manner to say, "Aren't I amazing!"

Cello knew that somehow Silvermaru's strength had suddenly grown at an exponential rate. His iron skin grew even harder, to the point that not even Goku or Vegeta was sure that they'd be able to break through it.

Cello frowned, "You are quite strong, the strongest person I've ever fought. I won't hold back anymore!"

Just as Cello finished speaking, Silivermaru's metal skin turned red as it placed its hands over its face. Everyone in the crowd suddenly held their breath, thinking that it was some form of a new attack.

When suddenly, Silvermaru stopped struggling. Cello was confused but managed to take advantage of the situation and easily throw Silvermaru off the stage.

Silvermaru realized what was happening, but it was too late. His body was flung into the air, slamming into the barrier before passing it.

A cloud of dust shot high into the sky when the robot-man fell outside the hardlight barrier and slammed into the ground.

A strong silent atmosphere spread across the spectator seats.

Even Cello was stunned by the incident, it took the announcer's voice to snap everyone out of their disbelief, "Well, there you have it, everyone! Cello is the victor by ring out!"

The crowd cheered, but it seemed to be lacking a bit in emotion.

Cello then powered down and showed an embarrassed expression before he bowed to the crowd and left the arena.

Next up was Yudo versus Rad.

Yudo was a Combat-Type Yardratian Warrior and their most promising youth. His mastery of Spirit Control was said to be top-notch amongsts their race.

Yudo appearance was short but with a lot of muscle. His skin was pale blue and had many large dark blue spots over the backside of his body. He wore a cobalt metallic mask over his face and wore the traditional Yardratian Armor.

Rad was of the Three-eyed Race and lived on Planet Metamor. He was trained by Tien and the Grandmaster, and several other masters on the planet. They were expecting great things this youth.

He had long braided black hair, a handsome mug, and a slightly broad chin. Rad's body was fit, barely any fat could be seen on his lean muscles, and his third-eye was fitted with a single blue eye.

He only wore a white tank top underneath the Metamorian Fusion outfit, loose martial pants, black belt, black ankle wrapings, and white sandels.

Yudo and Rad faced against one another and jumped straight into the fight the moment the Announcer gave the word, "BEGIN!"

Rad dashed forward and slammed his fist out to test the waters.

Yudo smiled and shrank down to the size of an ant before he ran up Rad's arm and punched him in the face.

The force from the attack sent Rad flying backwards, and before Rad could retaliate, Yudo used Instant Transmission to teleport behind Rad and kicked him in the head.

Rad rolled forward as the announcer shouted, "It looks like a bad start for young Rad. Yardratian's techniques are indeed mysterious! It appears that he has shrunken down to make himself harder to hit, and with the speed of a teleportation technique, it is currently keeping Rad from making any moves."

Rad leaped back up only to be surrounded by a group of clones. Yudo used all his strength and suddenly attacked the three-eyed warrior from every angle.

Rad shouted, "Silver Skin!" before he sucked in a deep breath and started to change the color of his pigments.

The Metamorian's skin went from peach-colored to almost completely silver.

His arms were placed in a cross block while the Yardratian clones all hoped on him with a wave of attacks.

Sounds of metal being hit rang out before Rad flung his arms out a violent thrust. The gust of wind and Ki sent the dogpile of clones flying away in every direction.

Yudo's tiny body was sent flying through the air, forcing him to reabsorb the clones he split off earlier.

Just as his clones returned to his body, Yudo's size shot up and became an easy target.

Rad then used a powerful Movement Technique and created his own clones to surround Yudo.

Using something called the Three Heads and Six Arms Technique, all five of Rad's clones grew new limbs as each of them stood ready in the Neo-Tri Beam stance.

Each of them charged up a frighteningly high level of Ki mixed in with Life Force.

Yudo tried to use his Instant Transmission to escape the circle when another Clone of Rad's disrupted his opponent's concentration by using a Solar Flare at point-blank range.

During the blinding shine of the Solar Flare, all of Rad's copies remerged with the original alongside the energy his clones stockpiled.

Placing all 3 pairs of arms in the Tri-Beam stance, Rad buffed up his Ki even further before he shouted out, "Neo-Trinity Beam!"

A loud boom shook the arena as he created a massive pyrimads pointed at the front of Rad's body.

The three pyrimads collided and grew compact before exploding with an intense wave of heat and fire.

A beaten-up Yudo shot out into the air, quickly healing himself and stoping just mere inches away from the barrier.

However, the moment he stopped, Yudo teleported back to the ground and transformed into a giant 14ft Yardratian.

Yudo waved his arms together and created a giant and thick chain made out of energy.

Using it as a whip to tie down his opponent's movements, the Yardratian flung the chain out towards Rad.

Rad, jumped back, narrowly avoiding the chain from wrapping around the lower half of his body.

The Metamorians 6 hands came together as if he were praying while he shouted, "Blood Asura Technique!"

His metallic-colored skin suddenly turned bright red as his power tripled, "Nine-Nine Revolution; Fists of the Wrathful Asura!"

All six of his arms turned into a flurry of blows that charged against Yudo's attacks.

Every time Yudo swung the giant energy chain at Rad, Rad punched it away with ease.

However, everyone with senses understood something was up with that technique.

Each time, the Metamorian's punches landed they became stronger than the last. Every 9 punches Rad's strength doubled, and when his 11th set of 9 punches shot out, it became around 2,048 times stronger than his first attack before breaking the stalemate.

The Chain shattered under the pressure and Yudo was sent flying into the arena's barrier.

The Yardratian's back slammed against the invisible wall making a loud, 'Whap!' noise.

As he fell through the barrier and onto the ground, the Announcer raised his arms into the air and shouted, "Out of Bounds! What a spectacular match! What powerful techniques! Ladies and Gentlemen, please give it up for the winner of this intense fight, Rad!!!"

The crowd cheered as the medics gave them a Senzu Bean to recover. The combatinats stood on stage and shook hands making the crowd cheer even louder.

Next up was Human versus Human, Yatora against Terra.

Yatora had white hair short buzzed hair, red eyes, and a well-built physique. He had six incense burns on his forehead, and a bit of a baby face.

Since his idol was Krillin, Yatora too had a background in Buddhism. He wore an orange and blue monks robe that had the Kame symbol stitched over the back.

He carried an aloof presence as if the world around him didn't exist, like everything around him didn't matter.

Terra had long black hair, a mature and developed body, perfectly toned muscles, and dark-blue eyes.

Standing at 6 feet tall, and wearing a Kame-Style orange and blue martial Gi top with an orange Hakama that's been tucked into her boots. The girl stood ready for the fight of her life.

She seemed far more mature than her age let one. There was even some confusion about her real age. Some people thought she was 20 or older.

The poor fifteen-year-old girl felt like crying every time her age was brought up.

The two stepped onto the stage and faced each other. They then bowed to the crowd and then to each other.

Taking a few feet away from each other, the two Earthlings smiled and stood in their fighting stances.

"Sorry Terra, I want to win this match! So I'm not going to hold back, even if it's against you!" Yatora declared.

Terra smiled and said, "Krillin's watching, but so is Videl, do you think I would embarrass my master?!"

"Begin!!!" The Announcer shouted making them jump towards each other with blinding speed.

As the two clashed, their arms turned into blurs as they struck out and started to parry each other's attacks perfectly.

Each blow was expertly blocked and redirected to alleviate damage. It looked like the two were dancing as they continued to punch and kick at each other.

An orange aura erupted around them both.

Since Krillin developed the Kaio-Zenken Technique, he departed the technique to all of humanity, mainly the Kame school, however, the ability to enter the State of Nothingness was only passed down to his sole disciple, Yatora.

The two boosted up to times 50 and continued to fight on even odds. The crowd was shocked by their power before they all started to cheer like madmen.

Their moves became more intricate and as the force from the two created countless shockwaves.

Their open palms met as they came to a stop. The Ki gathing in their hands locked them into place while they punched out with their spare hand.

Yatora blocked a punch before he turned his hand into a blade and stabbed out.

Terra leaned to the side and felt his fingers brush across her waist, tearing through her Gi while she made a siccor hand and attempted to poke his eyes out.

Yatora bent his neck down to block with his forehead.

However, the moment he did, Terra opened her hand and changed to a palm attack.

Her open hand slammed into his forehead, but she didn't feel the impact.

At the last second, Yatora craned his neck back and raised his foot towards her stomach.

Terra gave up the Ki struggle and lept back, avoiding the kick before she jumped off his leg and tried to kick him in the chin.

Yatora leaned under her kick and flew up to meet her.

Their limbs turned into blurs as started to destroy their surrounding arena with every attack.

Krillin frowned then shook his head with a disappointed sigh and questioned his disciple's motives, "What's heck is he doing?!"

Goku turned to his long-time friend and asked, "What's up?"

Krillin shook his head, "I told him not to go easy on her, but it seems my disciple's biggest flaw hasn't been fixed yet."

"Eh?" Vegeta lifted his brow.

"He can't hit girls, no matter how hard he tried to fight against other female disciples, he would pull his punches. Truth be told, he could win if he just used his secret weapon," Krillin said with a down expression.

Vegeta smiled, "So he managed to do it, eh?"
