Reborn as Vegeta

The Main Character is unexpectedly killed by God, and as an apology for his blunder, Leon was granted a new life in the Dragon-Ball World. Reborn as Vegeta, he takes his true place amongst the stars as the greatest Saiyan King ever to rule. Author Note: This is something I found while clearing out my extra laptop, I sold it recently and found this old pearl, after a few days tweaking it, because I started this when Super first aired, it needed some fine-tuning timeline wise. I've already finished the Dragon Ball Saga, and if I'm to continue this, you should know that it will be very short. War End

Vegeta smirked as he felt all the hairs on his body standing on end. However, more than feeling fear, he was excited.

"Guess I better stop holding back too," The Saiyan King laughed as he started to power up even more.

Purple fur sprouted from his body as his glowing base form hair became an even darker shade of purple. His tail uncurled from his waist before he opened his eyes, revealing the feral yellow eyes of a beast.

He didn't wait for Verglas to comment on his new form and charged towards his opponent. The two clashed fists before they disappeared from the area and reappeared at another. They attacks shook the universe repeatedly while their arms and legs were woven into a series of martial art styles that clashed with each other.

Vegeta moved his fists like lightning, aiming at the Frost Demon with wild angles and chaotic movements.

Verglas barely managed to keep up as he blocked and tried to counter, but every time he landed a blow, it only made Vegeta stronger.

Vegeta then hit Verglas in the stomach before spinning around and kicking him in the head. The Saiyan King stayed close to his target and teleported away to doge a kick. He then reappeared behind Verglas and punched him in the spine while throwing all his weight into the blow.

A loud crack was heard before Vegeta followed up with a point blank, "Big Bang Kamehameha!"

The blast was so powerful that it shot out of the atmosphere and blew up several planets in the star system.

The Frost Demon charged through the blast and punched Vegeta into the ground, shooting him through the planet before appearing behind him. Verglas then held his hand out and grabbed the extended arm's wrist while he charged up a powerful sphere of energy.

"Crusher Cannon!" The Demonic Emperor shouted as the blast hit Vegeta, but the King was able to put up his guard.

He took the blast head on while recovering through every second of excruciating pain the wounds inflicted upon him.

His strength grew and increased to even greater heights as he punched the blast away and put his fist directly into the Frost Demon's head.

The emperor cried out in pain as he felt Vegeta follow up with a kick to his stomach.

The Saiyan King then grabbed his opponent's head and proceeded to kick it several dozen times with his knee.

Verglas responded by powering up even more. His original attempt to hold back energy and not aggravate his wound ended in failure.

As he approached the limit of his strength, a flaming crown appeared around his head before he charged forward and ran his hand through Vegeta's stomach.

Expecting the Saiyan to keel over, he readied a blast with his other hand. However, the King of Salada opened his mouth and let out a massive Ki beam made of pure destruction.

The blast engulfed the upper half of Verglas' body and sent him flying away. Vegeta chanted another Full Heal spell and appeared in front of the Frost Demon before he started to wail away at his body.

Dozens of punches turned into hundreds, thousands of kicks turned into tens of thousands, the area around them quaked and shook until Vegeta landed a final punch that lifted the Verglas into the air.

The frost demon didn't understand. He was sure that he had enough energy to keep going, but he found himself reverting to his golden form.

"No-no-no-no-no-no…This doesn't make any sense!" Verglas turned to see his entire army decimated. Hundreds of Saiyans stared down at him with fire in their eyes.

"Don't you look at me like that!!! I am the Emperor of this universe! Only I have the right to rule…" His eyes widened when he saw it. Above him was a massive sphere of energy, floating in the air like a star on the horizon.

"That's…that's mine…" Verglas held his hand out, as if he could retrieve it.

Vegeta grinned and raised his hand, "It's mine now."

All of the energy shot down on the Saiyan King, quickly and rapidly being absorbed as he readied his hand and said, "And now you can have it back! It's funny when you think about it…destroyed by your decision to bring me here, destroyed by your plans for universal domination, and now your own energy will be used to destroy you…Hakai!"

"Nooooo! Stop! I don't want to die! I…"

The mighty Frost Emperor suddenly turned to dust and drifted into the winds of the frozen planet. Vegeta didn't even spare his soul. The moment he was gone, he cast his senses outward and frowned. He couldn't sense Chillza's energy at all.

"He either died in the fight or ran away," Vegeta lifted his head to the sky.

"Are we done here?" Goku asked as he powered down.

"I just have to send a message to everyone on the planet," Vegeta powered up and became a giant that was big enough to look over the entire planet. He then cloned himself and surrounded the planet as he shouted out, "Hear me Frost Demons of Geyser. If you ever wish to survive, you will change for the better and work for the Saiyans from this day forward. Those that attempt to continue your evil ways will be executed."

Most of the army had been killed off, but there were still a few hundred surviving Gold-tier Frost Demons that witnessed the fight of Vegeta against their lord and Emperor. They saw how quickly the son of Frieza fell, and the power the Saiyan demonstrated during their fight. They knew that had no choice but to become slaves of people they once enslaved.

However, Vegeta wasn't that cruel. He would force them to work for the Saiyans, but he would not starve them or torture them needlessly. He figured once they saw how efficient and worthwhile being a positive force for the universe itself was, they'd come around to his way of thinking. Of course, those that disagreed would have their bodies and souls turned to ash.

The upside to letting them live was a greater Mortal Level. Especially after they are all trained to reach the same forms Verglas was capable of.

And so, Vegeta began the lengthy process of converting the Frost Demons into allies of the Saiyans and instilling good morals into their culture.

He made able fighters work for the Galactic Police while thousands of his people stayed there to set up facilities, and he even hired people from Earth to help teach the Frost Demons.

Of course, he could only supervise for so long. He had to head back to his planet to deal with Broly and Paragus.

Once he left some capable men behind, he teleported everyone else home and went to an empty and large grassy plain on Planet Salada.

[Chaotic Realm]

Fu was smirking as he looked over his newest toy recovering inside a healing pod. He wanted Frieza, but he figured that his son would be even better.

"Look after your nephew and teach him everything I taught you," Fu commanded as he walked past a bowing Cooler.

"Yes, my lord."

"It's almost time…hehe, and what a show it will be," Fu smirked before he started laughing.

[Planet Salada]

Vegeta noticed Goku had followed him. The Saiyan King then rolled his eyes before asking, "What are you doing?"

"You got to fight that strong guy earlier! I wanna fight Broly first!"

"Whatever," Vegeta walked quicker as he made his way to a large rocky formation where two sleeping Saiyans were stationed at.

"Yo!" Goku shouted loud enough to wake the dead.

Broly's eyes snapped open moments before Paragus did. The giant Saiyan hopped to his feet and looked around with a panicked expression while Paragus grunted and swayed as he tried to get his bearings.

"What…where are we?"

Broly stood in front of his father while Vegeta grunted, "Relax, we're not going to kill him or anything."

"Ugh…what happened?" The voice of Cheelai rang out as she shook her head from behind Broly.

"I think we were teleported somewhere," Lemo scratched the side of his head.

"Oh no, it's the guy with the scary face," Cheelai cried out as she hid behind Broly's leg, "What do you want from us? Are you going to kill us?"

"Vegeta won't do that. He may look scary, but he's not a complete monster," Goku chuckled.

"Would you shut up!" Vegeta slapped his rival in the back of the head before saying, "Welcome to the new home planet of the Saiyans, Planet Salada. Things have changed since the rule of my father. I became its King, defeated the tyrant who enslaved our people, changed what it meant to be Saiyan, and developed a powerful civilization. Your revenge is pointless. The King Vegeta you wanted dead has been gone for many years now."

The Saiyan King looked to Paragus, "I'm not asking you to forgive my father. However, I can promise to give you back those years you lost. Not to mention, I would prefer my people living in peace on this planet. Come with me."

He started flying while Paragus looked rather nervous.

"Just trust him, Vegeta's a good King!" Goku laughed.

"Who are you?" Broly questioned.

"Well, my name is Goku. But since you guys are Saiyans, you can call me Kakarot."

"Stop stalling, I haven't got all day!" Vegeta shouted.

"Right, right, we're coming your majesty," Goku rolled his eyes as he started flying up.

Paragus and Broly looked at each other before the father realized that his son didn't have his shock collar anymore.

"Well…perhaps we should see what the prince…"

"It's King now, and move your ass!" Vegeta ordered as he used his Divine-Ki to lift them into the air.

He flew over a few cities and saw the living conditions of his people. He even saw Saiyans with different collared hair and tails, those being the lucky Earthlings who had become Saiyans through marriage and having a child before Vegeta undid the wish.

They saw the massive constructs people lived in, the houses, the atmosphere, all of it very different from what Paragus remembered on planet Vegeta.

The visitors stopped at the Timeless Training Grounds and nudged his head for them to enter the golden door.

Goku opened the door and ran in with a smile. When they saw the massive endless terrain, they couldn't help but gasp in astonishment.

"But…how…what…huh?" Cheelai scratched her head.

"There's always someone strong here to fight. In here, we can control the flow of time with the nobs on the outside of the door. It's set 1 to 1 right now, but we can get a hundred years of training done in ten days," Goku grinned as he used his senses to see what had changed since he last visited Salada's Timeless Training Grounds.

"Saiyan kind has used these lands to advance their powers, start clans, raise entire leagues of Super Saiyan Gods, and much more. We were once on the brink of extinction, and our numbers were only a mere hundred thousand or so. Now, we are millions strong," Vegeta explained as he led them to his castle.

He walked inside while Cheelai and Lemo kept an eye out for anything worth stealing. However, considering that there were castle guards, they thought it be best not to do anything that might end up getting them in trouble.

Vegeta moved to his vault and opened the doors to show a room full of books containing the many techniques he's learned and mastered. There were loads of vases full of Senzu Beans, large racks of what they thought was wine, and a gourd that he brought out from a chest.

He poured the elderly Saiyan a cup and slid it down the table in the middle of the room.

"Here, drink this and you'll recover your lost years. Broly, I have something different for you," Vegeta tossed him a bottle of wine made from fermented and condensed Tree of Might fruits.

"Are you trying to poison us?" Paragus asked.
