3 Years Later

Future Trunks smiled at his father's offer to train. However, he shook his head before saying, "I would love to train with you, Dad. But, I'm now positive that mom didn't just create a time machine, but something that allows me to travel through the multiverse. Which means that my time is linear..."

"...and whatever time passes here, will also pass in Future-Trunk's reality," Bulma finished what Future Trunks was saying. "I'm a genius!"

Trunk's laughed before Vegeta smiled and said, "A day would be enough."

Grabbing Trunk's shoulder he teleported him to the Saiyan's Timeless Training Grounds. Everyone else, knowing what he was thinking, decided to take a break when Goku shouted, "Wait for me!" and followed them.

Inside the Training Grounds, Trunks looked amazed as his eyes darted everywhere.

Vegeta explained how the Training Grounds worked, and he even told Trunks about the Time Chamber that existed on both their and his lookout.

To say the least, Trunks had been thoroughly surprised. He gripped his fist and thought, "If only Gohan knew about that place."

Vegeta patted him on the shoulder and said, "When you return, I will go with you and head to King Kai's planet. From there we can locate your universe's planet Namek. You can use Parunga to revive everyone. Even your timeline's Goku who technically died of natural causes. The Namekian Dragon is much stronger than the one on earth, it doesn't have any limitations on bringing the dead back to life."

Trunks smiled when Goku showed up and shouted, "I wanna train too! After all, I have a new form to master and need to achieve Super Saiyan 4 as well!"

Vegeta nodded his head and saw everyone else enter the Training Grounds as well.

Vegeta then turned to Future Trunks and said, "I hope you're ready, training with us won't be easy."

Future Trunks smiled and moved into a fighting stance before saying, "I don't give up!"

Vegeta smiled, "That's my son! The first thing we need to do is grow your tail."

Trunks looked at his father with a clueless expression, "..."

Vegeta was pleasantly surprised to see casting a full heal on Future Trunks helped him regrow his tail. If that didn't work he would have had to use the Dragon Balls to regrow it or that trick Turles used in the movie.

From this day forward, Trunks's life experiences could truly be called hell. Anytime he wasn't being beaten up, he was either being forced to undergo constant gravity training or learning to control his Oozaru form, leaving him only a little time to hang out with the rest of the Z fighters.

During their stay inside the Training Grounds, everyone minus Goku, Vegeta, and Trunks made sure to spend time together and treat this event like a family vacation.

In what little time he was allowed, Trunks got to know his 'family' and got much stronger during his time here.

The 2.5 years they spent inside the Timeless Training Grounds helped him push his limits to far higher levels than his Canon-Self.

Trunks also fought against Gohan a lot. During their training together, Gohan had managed to reach Super Saiyan 3.

The explosion of power made by Gohan's transformation sent Trunks falling over and tumbling across the ground.

The teenager from the future then looked over to see the 2 and a half-year-old Trunks and Goten power up to a Super Saiyans and surprise everyone in the area even more.

"What? I can do it too!" Raunch said as she shouted and transformed into a Super Saiyan.

Trunks shook his head in disbelief, "This really isn't my timeline at all. Is there some kind of Super Saiyan bargain sell going on? Really though, this Training Room is just cheap. I actually achieved such a great power-up in such a short amount of time, I've already reached Super Saiyan 2 now I have to master it."

Vegeta smiled and thought that it was only normal, because of the level of S-Cells inside their bodies, both Trunks and Goten were born as geniuses that had limitless potential.

Around the same time, Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan 4, showing Trunks exactly what he had to look forward to.

Vegeta laughed as he congratulated them on their hard work. He turned back to Future Trunks and continued their training.

It didn't take long for Future Trunks to achieve the Mastered Super Saiyan 2 form. After achieving this state, Vegeta awarded Future Trunks with a Fruit from the Tree of Might.

He only had around 30 pieces of the fruit remaining, so he decided to hand them out to all the Z fighters. Vegeta didn't want to eat another one, the only reason he did so in the first place, was because he wanted to make sure he could kill Cooler.

Passing them out among his family and friends, their new power levels became...

Vegeta: 4.6 Billion

Goku: 4.6 Billion

Bulma: 3.1 Billion

Chichi: 3.2 Billion

Future Trunks: 3.8 Billion

Kid Trunks: 280 Million

Kid Goten: 280 Million

Kid Gohan: 3.5 Billion

Krillin: 1.5 Billion

Tien: 1.4 Billion

Chaitsou: 1.1 Billion

Piccolo: 3.9 Billion

Vegeta Senior: 2.1 Billion

Gardnia: 2.9 Billion

Bardock: 4.0 Billion

Gine: 3.8 Billion

Raditz: 4.2 Billion

Napa: 3.1 Billion

Trunks was about ready to leave when the alternate timeline version of his father stopped him. Vegeta then gathered everyone around him and said, "I want to test something out."

Vegeta gathered Goku, Gohan, Chichi, Bulma, and stood around Trunks, "I want everyone to transform into Super Saiyans and pour your hearts and feelings into Trunks."

Everyone gave a confused look, "Trust me, don't fill him with Ki, but your emotions."

Everyone closed their eyes and did as Vegeta said.

Trunks felt a surge of unknown energy enter his body. Without realizing it, his body rose into the air and loud explosions of Ki shout out an almost holy light surrounded him.

As Trunks's body slimmed down, his hair turned and eyes red, and a flaming red aura surrounded his body before he floated back down to the ground.

He was staring at his hands and feeling the God Ki pour out of every drop of blood in his body, Trunks looked up at Vegeta and said, "This power, it's..."

"I can't sense his Ki?" Krillin said in surprise.

"His hair isn't spikey anymore, and it's red now," Bulma said while observing her son.

"Congratulations son, you just became the first Super Saiyan God since Planet Sadala's era," Vegeta said shocking everyone again.

"God?" Piccolo said clutching his chin.

Vegeta laughed as he led everyone outside the Training Grounds.

Teleporting them all to Earth, Trunks smiled at his family and pulled out his Time Machine.

Bulma looked at the ship and noticed her handwriting on it, "Hope?"

"You wrote that the day I left," Trunks said as he opened the hatch.

Bulma smiled and said, "I never realized I was so sentimental."

Vegeta cut the conversation short and flew up and squeezed inside the space behind the pilot's seat.

Trunks joined him and sat in front of Vegeta and waved goodbye.

When the hatch closed, Trunks asked in a sarcastic tone, "Comfortable back there?"

"Just turn this infernal machine on!" Vegeta shouted.

Trunks gave a chuckle as he taped a few buttons and took off.

The world bent around Vegeta's eyes as they passed through Time and Space. Glowing lights peeled out and warped into strips before Vegeta suddenly felt a tug on the ship.

Arriving in the Future Timeline, Vegeta saw the wreckage of the world Trunks lived in and sighed with a sorrowful look on his face.

Vegeta and Trunks then flew off to meet up with Future Bulma, but when she saw him, she froze up.

Tears started to pour from her eyes when Bulma, inched her way towards Vegeta. With shaky hands placed on his face, she cried out, "Is this real?"

After confirming she wasn't dreaming, Future Bulma buried her head into Vegeta's chest and started to bawl.

Vegeta sighed as he embraced her while patting her on back.

Future Bulma was surprised by his affection and jumped up in disbelief, her face was bright red and could still make Vegeta smile.

Seeing his mother's reaction and viewing it with suspicion, Trunks explained everything he went through. That, and that what she made wasn't just a time machine.

They took the conversation inside her house and spent the next few hours catching up, "You mean we can bring everyone back!" Bulma started to tear up again.

Vegeta nodded his head and said, "I'll be back in a bit, Trunks you take out those androids."

Trunks nodded his head and stood up, Vegeta then teleported to King Kai's world and was scared by appearing in front of him.

After King Kai fell down, Vegeta picked him up as he looked around before asking, "Where's Kakarot?"

King Kai stood back up and said, "He's training with the Grand Kai alongside the rest of his family and friends."

Vegeta nodded his head and said, "I need you to do me a favor."

"You want me to find Namek right? I've been watching Trunks struggle for a while now, but you shouldn't let the fact that they built a time machine get out. Mortals aren't supposed to touch that territory for a reason," King Kai said crossing his arms.

"I understand," Vegeta placed his hand on King Kai's back and after a few minutes, they located New Namek.

Vegeta teleported there, and after explaining his situation, he got permission to use the Dragon Balls.

Vegeta used the sheet wishlist cheat since Guru in this timeline didn't make any protection against it.

The first wish was used to restore all the damage done to the bodies and structures of Earth that the Androids destroyed, resurrect Piccolo, restore Kami's youth and grant him the ability to unlock potential, grant Kami the ability to improve the wishing strength of the Dragon Balls, resurrect Goku, put a copy of the Timeless Training Grounds on Earth's Lookout, and the last one was to restore Bulma's youth and give her a life span equal to that of a Saiyan.

Vegeta then dismissed Purunga because he couldn't think of anything else to wish for.

After returning to Earth, Vegeta felt Trunks killing off the Androids, and quite easily too.

Smiling, Vegeta teleported over to Bulma and surprised her while she was currently marveling over the return of her youth and the restoration of her planet.

"Hey Bulma, you still got the Dragon Radar?" Vegeta questioned, startling her.

Bulma instantly saw what he was getting at and turned around before jumping into his arms, "Thank you, Vegeta!"

Vegeta smiled as and pulled her back. Trunks came in the room shouted, "Mom, it's done, the Androids are gone! Did you see the planet? Everything that was destroyed is back, and there are a bunch of dead bodies everywhere!"

Vegeta smiled and said, "The Dragon Radar?"

Bulma blushed and ran over to her lab, Trunks jaw dropped as he saw that she was young again, "I just used the Namekian Dragon Balls to revive Piccolo and Goku, I'm gathering the Dragon Balls now to wish everyone else back."

Trunks sent out his senses and noticed that Goku and Piccolo were indeed alive. In fact, Goku had teleported over to see what was happening.

"Vegeta?! Woah, how'd you get so strong?!" Goku said with a bewildered look.

"I got the Radar!" Bulma said as she came back into the room with the Dragon Radar in hand. She took one look at Goku and laughed as she gave him a hug.

"Hey, Bulma! You haven't aged a day!" Goku shouted in surprise.

Vegeta took the dragon radar from Bulma and said, "I'm Vegeta from another reality, one where you didn't die."

Goku scratched his head, unable to follow Vegeta sighed and said, "I'm from the past. A different past than yours."

Goku gave him a quick look over, "But...You're so strong! How could you be from the past?" Goku's eyes drifted to Trunks, "Holy crap, are you Trunks, your strength is ridiculous! You sure grew up big!"

Vegeta grinned and said, "Never mind that! Go to Kami's tower and have him improve the eternal dragon's power so it can bring people back from the dead who have already been wished back before and preferably without the time limit."

Goku smiled figuring out what Vegeta was up to, "Wow, Vegeta, you really changed." Using his instant transmission, Goku did as he was told while Vegeta gathered the dragon balls.

Everyone met up at Kami's lookout and summoned the new and improved Shenron. Using the wish to revive everyone who was killed by the Androids, the Earth of Future Trunks had completely returned to normal. Almost like the Androids never existed.

All of the Z fighters had returned to earth and met up. Gohan was rushed by Trunks and his family while Future Vegeta could be heard grunting.

Vegeta walked over to him and decided to give himself some advice, "Don't fight your feelings for Bulma. You better protect that woman, she's the love of our lives."

Future Vegeta scoffed at the younger version of himself and tried to hide his embarrassed look.

Vegeta also gave Future Bulma some information, "Don't give up on him, he really loves you, although you have to drag that out of him. Saiyan Pride and all."

After receiving thanks from everyone, Vegeta thought that it was about time for him to return home. He gave everyone the rest of his Fruits from the Tree of Might and then had Kami unlock everyone's potential before eating them.

With their newfound power, Vegeta left them with Trunks to return to his timeline for what he believed was the last time.

Vegeta could only wonder if they could overcome the Zamasu situation as he returned to his own timeline.

After returning to his time, Vegeta looked to Future Trunks and said, "I hope you stay strong enough and never stop seeking strength to protect your world. I believe you can protect this timeline now, don't let me down."

Trunks tried to hold back his tears, "Thank you, dad."

As Vegeta jumped out of the Time Machine he gave Trunks one last bit of advice, "Your Vegeta is a lot like I used to be. He's a little rough around the edges, but he'll work hard in trying to better himself in the future, so cut me some slack every once and a while."

Trunks laughed before nodding his head and closing the hatch to the time machine. He then started up the engine, giving his father one final salute as he disappeared into the portal left in time and space.

Vegeta smiled and thought of how strong this timeline's Cell and Androids would be.

His blood began to boil in excitement. Vegeta wasn't going to do anything to stop their arrival, in fact, he wanted the challenge, he hoped for a challenge.

Flying off to inform his family of his return, Vegeta thought of how much training he could get in before the arrival of his newest foes.
