She thought about demonic magic as thousands of magic abilities began to emerge in her mind.

'The majority of these are either abilities I'll never use or ones that don't require training. I can just use them on a nearby animal.'

She surveyed the area once more and found a red fox. She jumped through the trees over to it, somewhat startling it.

Flicking her hand, she sent a small wave of demonic magic onto the red fox, which corrupted it, turning its red fur coat black and purple, with its sclera turning red and its pupil yellow.

'So on contact, it did three things: first, it corrupted it, then it cursed it, turning it into a demon fox,' Ayla thought. 'I probably won't utilize the skills frequently since demon magic isn't really useful for assassinations. Let's go on to the next one.'

Swiping her hand, the Demon Fox's body broke apart like a pane of glass shattering.

*Shatter!

'This will be useful.'

Another flick of her hand caused the tree next to her to disintegrate into nothing.

'Although useful, it is costly on my mana."

In every shadow, she could see the surroundings as though millions of cameras were projecting what they saw into her mind.

She thought of appearing next to a tree that had a large shadow, and as soon as she did, she fell into the shadow beneath her and came out of the tree's shadow.

'Similar to spatial teleportation, but utilizes shadows instead.'

(A/N: The MC will use Shadow Magic since she can't teleport via Spatial Manipulation.)

'I suppose I'll kill some foxes or bears so I can eat them.'

Upon peering into the shadows, she discovered a family of 2 adult bears and 3 cubs that were then slaughtered when shadow spikes pierced them from the ground.

*Pffff!

'Useful, alright.'

After merging with the shadow using shadow stealth, it enabled her to move through the shadows unnoticed.

'This will be helpful. Now for the next magic.'

‹Hellfire Magic›

'I guess I'll cook the bear meat with this.'

Her finger suddenly lit up with a blue flame, which she flicked over to the five dead bears, igniting them.

'With this flame, I have complete control over its temperature, whether it burns something or not, and lastly, what it does. If I wanted to use it to heal someone, I could.'

*Crackle!

The meat was cooked well as it didn't instantly disintegrate but instead cooked it gradually, just like a regular fire would.

When the food was finished cooking, she put out the hellfire.

"Smells good."

To make the meat easier to eat, shadow blades protruded from beneath the cooked meat and cut it into pieces.

With the aid of dream magic, she created a large bowl into which she placed all the meat slices, as well as a chair for bee to sit on and a table for the bowl of meat.

She began to eat. The food tasted delicious even without any seasoning, so she made sure to relish the flavor and take her time.

After she finished eating, she dispelled the bowl, table, and chair.

"That was nice, but I'm assuming that any kind of meat, including human meat, will be delicious."

[Yeah, that's true. Dragons can eat any kind of meat, aside from dragon meat, which they won't consume. However, when it comes to vegetables, dragons will never eat them since they taste like grass.] Cynthia stated.

'True, vegetables probably wouldn't contain enough nutrition to quell a dragon's appetite.'

'Until the first mission, all that is left to do, I suppose, is to keep training my magic and other skills.'
