[Oops, I forgot to give you the sandals.]

Ayla's shoes changed to wooden geta sandals as she exited the void, appearing in a forest that gave off an ominous and eerie feeling.

'Oh, so this world is a mix of Medieval Japan and a Cultivation World.'

[Yep.]

Ayla looked at the map within my system.

"Of course, the locations of the three are on opposite sides of this continent. Fuck."

[I can teleport you there as long as we have s*x later].

'I'll pass.'

[Why? It will allow you to finish your quest more quickly.]

There was a tall, blue demon with black eyes wielding an axe.

'I'll just kill it.'

A blue flame lit on her finger as she flicked it at the blue demon, setting it ablaze, which soon became nothing but ash.

"Grarr."

'If there's one, then there always has to be more.'

She sent a thin wave of mana throughout the forest, which would detect the energy signatures within the monsters even if they were different from mana.

'So I'm in a montane forest, and there are roughly 500 blue demons with 300 to 800 imps. What a great welcome party!"

Forming a dragon katana, she ignited hellfire on the blade and took a step forward, disappearing while leaving a trail of decapitated demon heads behind that soon burned to ash.

*Sizzle! hiss!

Soon, all the blue demons were dead and were just a pile of ashes.

'That was disappointing. Let's kill the Imps now.'

*Snap!

Snapping her finger, she sent a small shockwave throughout the air as all the surviving imps shattered into pieces like shattered glass, only keeping their cores intact as they could be useful in the future.

She then stored their cores in my system's storage.

'So this world has human-eating demons, and it seems like they rule over 50–60% of this world.' I thought, looking at the demon locations on my system map.

[The demons have supernatural strength, while humans are samurai but have difficulty gaining the strength needed to annihilate the demons.]

'I see.'

[I know you want to finish this quest quickly, but I think you should visit a nearby city and use a carriage to travel around. Since you should be able to learn more about your targets before killing them.]

"Sigh, that's true."

Ayla took a step forward and bolted forward through the forest, forming a gust of wind in her wake.

Looking at her system map, she found a small town nearby called Taesan.

'Cynthia, I should be able to sell the cores for money, right?'

[Yeah, all you have to do is turn the cores in, and you'll receive money for them.]

'That's good that I decided to keep them.'

She soon found a road that led to the small town, so she walked on it towards the city.
