"Tch! Is there really anything I can't do?"
Davis and an unknown man completely covered in a cloak we're having a conversation somewhere on the Capital that's hidden amongst common citizens. It was the night after the 2nd day of the tournament had just ended earlier this afternoon. Davis who's having a crisis regarding Jasmine was patiently asking the guy affiliated with the Cults but...
"The 『Valiant Heart』 is an accessory that you cannot just get with any normal means." The guy said. "You'll either win the tournament or the deal is off."
"You damn...!" Davis was about to lose his patient but decided to hold it.
And the reason is, that the guy was not alone unfortunately. In fact, he was currently surrounded by them as they talk. He doesn't mind if it's just a single digit of men surrounding him, but regrettably, not only he was surrounded by at least 20 men, but all of them are capable fighters.
He won't be able to leave without a scratch. Worse, it could even leave to his death. That's how dangerous his predicament currently is despite his impressive skills.
While Davis ponders his current situation, the guy in front of him started opening his mouth with a malicious grin.
"You know, you can also join the Cult in exchange for the antidote." The guy malevolently said. "It will exchange a bit of your freedom, but I assure you it'll be worth it."
"No thanks," Davis answered without hesitation. "I know what you guys have been up to. I have no interest in taking misfortunes of other for the sake of their selfishness. Even with my shit attitude, there are still limits of what I do to others."
(Especially with Jasmine, I'll even turn into a different person for the sake of her)
"The world is not all sunshine and rainbows, Davis." The guy quoted. "Someday you'll know—that every human or species in this world was just as rotten as we are."
"Hmph," Davis voiced his annoyance. "I'm getting the hell out of here."
With a grumpy look, Davis frankly left the place. The Cultist maliciously smile behind him as they see him off with an evil grin.

The 3rd and the last day of the Tournament has finally been started. Just as expected of the semifinals down into the last, the audiences have drastically increased compared to yesterday—with some new face from the important guesses and some people that's popularly noted from their well-known affiliations. Of course, Sai Crimsonheart's group we're all completely present.
And now for the upcoming series, the fight will be held by the four winners of the quarterfinals. As whom will be their opponents, was then showed on the projected hologram:
『Sai Crimsonheart』 Vs. 『Davis Blackraven』
『Sora』 Vs. 『Jett Midnight』
The place of the match was still the same as yesterday, with some rocky landform to make the fight more entertaining and to give the competitors some experience regarding the factors of specific environment.
Anyhow, the first match then started a few moments in with the two competitors being Sai Crimsonheart and Davis Blackraven currently standing at the centerstage.
"Something is in dire need of time right now, you see?" Davis composedly mentioned. "I'm sorry but I'll end this quickly."
"You're full of yourself, aren't you?" Sai irritably said. "Why don't you try, cute face."
"Huh...?!" Veins popped out on Davi's forehead, visibly irritated. "Change of plan. I'll end this quickly and beat the shit out of you completely."
"Huh?" Astra showed a perplexed expression. "Isn't Sai looks like pissed for some reason?"
"Ah..." Lily breathes a small sigh. "It's because of yesterday. I forgot to tell you guys but those two had a bit of a conversation yesterday."
"Oh?" Astra showed an interested look. "Tell us what happened."
"Uh..." Lily ponders for a moment. "It's nothing really... Davis just managed to hit some nerve—and it pissed Sai off."
"Alright," Astra nonchalantly replied. "Looks like this fight would be a blast."
"Tell me about it." Lily replied then shifted her attention into the centerstage. "Look, it's about to start."
"For the first battle of the Semifinals! Sai Crimsonheart versus Davis Blackraven! Battle Start!"
The moment the word start was heard and the two immediately propel into each other and lock swords. After their swords had collided and the two swiftly stepped back and changed their stance.

Both of them went into an offensive multiple attack. Their sword clash into each other so fast that the everyone is starting to see an afterimage of them. But it immediately ended as the skills of their sword started making projectiles. Sai creating a black arc slash that gets larger as it forwards and an icicle projectile coming from Davis sword that started falling into Sai hastily—thus needing them to retreat in an instance.
"So fast!" Luna shouted in awe.
"Right," Astra sternly replied, seemingly amazed and a bit frustrated at the same time. "So they we're just playing with us."
Sai slash and dodge all the icicle projectiles coming at him swiftly and in a beautiful manner. Davis on the other hand, dodge all the black arc slash projectile in pure concentration.
And the moment Sai slashed the last projectile and he immediately plunge himself into Davis in a lightning speed—surprising Davis in the process.
"?!"
Luckily, Davis manages to defend himself with his sword at the last second and lock sword with Sai. But Sai didn't end it there, with his usual tactics, Sai took the 『Spore Staff』 and blow it off into Davis's stomach but missed as David used the ⟨⟨Voiding⟩⟩ to dodge it.
"Too obvious." Davis mockingly said.
"Is that so?" Sai composedly replied, then begins to raise his palm towards Davis. "How about this?"
Davis who was wearing a confident grin was turned into a surprise as he widened his eyes into an upcoming light violently coming into him.
"⟨⟨Umbral Collision⟩⟩"
Davis who didn't anticipate a magic spell was directly hit by a black beam and was blasted away harshly. The extreme fierce turn of even had made the audiences cheered in awe as someone had finally taken some hit.
"Wha—?!" Lily dropped her jaw dumbfoundedly. "How was he able to do that?"
Neither everyone knew about the fact that Sai could also use it. I fact, everyone had the same reaction with Lily with the exception of Akari, Aoyuki, and Sora.
Sai, after a while, finally stopped the beam as his Mana was about to reach its limit. After the beam had finally diminished, Davis can be seen slowly standing on the cracked wall.
"Goddammit, " Davis groaned as he scratches his back. "I didn't know you were this—?!"
Davis cut his word and slash the projectile that came at him. When he shot a glance at Sai, he was holding his 『Musket』 that's currently aimed at him.
"Bastard..."
Looks like Sai plans to not give Davis any time to recover and immediately finish the match. Davis whose plan turned into him had turned livid.
Davis dashed towards Sai in quick speed. Sai on the other hand, shot some black arc slash that slowly moves towards Davis.

In a blink of an eye, Davis passed Sai's projectile without being hit and threw a ⟨⟨Flick⟩⟩ to Sai which Sai managed to ⟨⟨Parry⟩⟩.
"Ugh!"
However, the momentum that was added thanks to Davis ⟨⟨Godspeed⟩⟩ threw Sai's arms away caused of an extreme force from the collision, falling helplessly in the process.
Sai used ⟨⟨Voiding⟩⟩ using his one foot that's the only thing on the ground before he completely falls and immediately disappeared from Davis's range. But by imitating what Sai did on his fight against Astra, instead of moving outward, Davis used the ⟨⟨Voiding⟩⟩ in reverse, instantly moving inside Sai's range.
"Shit— Ugh!"
"Take this!"
Sai was punched in the jaw upward with all the strength Davis has. It was so hard that Sai was knocked away like he was sling shotted, hitting on one of the very small cliffs.
"This is bad...!"
"Aruji-sama..."
"Master..."
Everyone voiced out their concern towards Sai who was knocked away violently. The other audiences then cheered into the fierce fight that's happening currently.
(Somewhere on the VIP seats)
"So that's Sai Crimsonheart." A black-haired woman who's firmly watching the fight said. "The rumors about him was a different from what I learned."
"Well yeah," A pink long-haired girl nodded in agreement into her—it was Sherry Calmwater. "I also agreed. I suspect the rumors about him was just made out of jealously."
The woman besides Sherry Calmwater had a black bob-cut hair that has a very fierce demeanor. She wore an antagonistic dress with a violet gem as a pin on her collar that's beautifully similar into her iris. If it not for Miss Sherry casually talking to her and she would be considered as one of the antagonists as her first impression.
"For him to casually give an antidote that's considered as an international medicine, that's really weird of him."
Everyone was tensely waiting to see the result. The place where Sai was knocked was being covered in smoke that everyone has no idea what's happening. But after a while...
"Tch! You're still kicking huh," Davis retorted furiously.
A figure of a man standing on the cliff was seen doing something. Once the smoke had finally diminished, Sai can be seen gulping the [Potion] as he casually threw away the empty bottle that he already drank.
Everyone sighs in relief when they saw that Sai was still capable of fighting. And regarding of Sai's behavior, it seems like the next part will be more entertaining.

With all the [Potions] he drank, Sai was full of vitality. In fact, he feels like he was a dozen stronger than before.
"Alright," Sai wipes his mouth with his hands. "Let's take this up a notch, shall we?"
