Adventurers diary and an era of prosperity

Adventurer's POV:

Within a bustling system, an impressive assembly of ships painted a vivid image. Each vessel flaunted unique designs, and a fleet of exploratory endeavors converged in pursuit of a common goal – riches. A notorious bandit stronghold, rumored to house immense wealth, had drawn this motley flotilla together.

Aboard one of the smaller ships, a hulking figure stood. Its gorilla-like countenance, punctuated by formidable tusks, bespoke inherent strength. Such assumptions weren't far off the mark. This creature hailed from a species defined by its natural might, a reputation its appearance upheld.

"Captains log number four-hundred and thirty-eight. Now traveling with a group of other explorers to take out a bandit den, gonna earn a lot of cash if I survive."

"Also I heard some crazy news from Azburgia! ...uh, again. They decided their bodies and minds aren't good enough for them and are going to change them to perfection, the other champions are going to shit themselves when they realize the one of the strongest of them is snowballing out of control even faster now."

"Speaking of the self-proclaimed champions, they are building themselves pretty impressive Empires and federations, some occupying almost ten thousand systems! one of which is of course Azburgia."

"Oh, everyone is getting ready to rumble so I gotta go get everything set up! Hopefully, I live to see the crazy shit the humans do next."

The ship fired up and sent itself flying as space bent around it, the entire flotilla shooting out into the sea of stars all around them.

Back on Earth, The royal family was moving about its day with ease of mind, not having anyone to slaughter felt refreshing, to say the least.

That doesn't mean they have become soft and weak-minded, no, in fact, they are stronger than ever before, as willing to go to war as ever, but a little rest never killed anyone.

Well, it probably did kill someone at some point, but that's not the point.

Adam is currently speaking with Serena about something while walking through the winding corridors side by side.

The Earth has become the center of all local trade, becoming one of the trade capitals of the Orion Arm, bathing in untold riches, ones that even Adam couldn't help but blink at when he saw the skyrocketing economy.

Thousands of ships entered and left the system constantly. Some say the Sol system never sleeps, and it couldn't be more correct.

Something was constantly happening in the capital system.

All the other core planets also enjoyed their own riches as well, enhanced by the fact that alien traders were allowed to go to the planets themselves, and weren't forced to stay in orbit.

Speaking of the core planets, "Project Central" has been successfully finished, casting a shield around all the systems that contained the central planets and every system between them, generating a barrier that was impossible to sneak through using any known method.

This sent energy fluctuation across thousands of light-years, which was noted by the champions and other major powers.

As for the weaker ones, they noted it too, but with a sense of hopelessness clinging to their hearts.

What could they do? most of them were too weak or on the verge of being subjugated, and the shield was just another testament to the superiority the Azburgians held firmly in their hands.

This era of prosperity could be seen in every aspect of society, as starvation was all but eliminated, The few remaining people who were poor were either being helped by the charity Adam set up or were being investigated as to why they struggled so much with living well.

If they were incapable of handling themselves, they would have to be helped, or removed.

No rust was allowed to cling to the Empire's gears.

The Earth became the closest thing there was to a utopia, with all finding fulfillment in their work, having a stable income, and plenty of money for themselves and their families.

This effect would no doubt slowly spread to all planets controlled by the Empire as they became more and more developed, bringing in an era of bliss to humans and aliens in time.

But the humans took priority of course.

Reputation was a key part of diplomacy and war, and the reputation of Azburgia was nothing to scoff at, but Adam's reputation grew to become even greater.

A human who was capable of slaughtering thousands, the man who led one of the greatest Empires within the Orion Arm, and the man who many believed would be the one to make all of them kneel sooner or later.

Most planets simply surrendered when they heard the Azburgian fleet was nearby, and when Adam was there, the surrender rate was ninety percent, only the most stubborn and brave fighting to the end.

This meant that the Empire faced virtually no opposition when expanding, most not even fighting and just immediately surrendering in hopes of keeping their lives and some power which they were usually granted as a reward for their obedience.

This was favorable for the Empire of course, but Adam feared his men would become overconfident and slack off, prompting him to regularly remind them that they got thrashed many times and personally humble entire units worth of men at a time, reminding them that vigilance is of the utmost importance.

This worked well enough as a temporary fix, and that was all Adam needed for now.

As they expanded, it was only a matter of time till they clashed with another champion, one that could challenge them and hurt them badly, and when that day came, Adam and his men would be ready for anything they could throw at them.

So, as more and more time passed, the Emperor eventually celebrated his twenty-fifth birthday, marking the end of his peaceful days and returning him to his home.

War. War never changes, and Adam would dominate every aspect of it, as he has so far.
