Leora has always loved two things: food and fencing. Studying at university and aged 19, she always found her life rather boring but one day an accident happened and she found herself sent to a fantasy world where she was to experience lots of adventure and maybe meet the love of her life. "My turn," Leora whispered, twirling around in the water to face me with a playful expression. Her skin practically glowed from the warmth of the water and the oils soaking into our skin.
I caught Leora's hands before they could reach me. "No. You need to rest. Sit over here," I guided her over to the built-in seat. Leora gave a cute little pout of her lips. It was hard to resist kissing them, but I knew if I did, then things would get out of hand.
She floated away from me and reached up, beginning to undo her braids. I watched her every move, feeling heat radiate from my eyes. She had grown since arriving at the castle. The fear she had harbored was no longer there. Instead, there was a woman who had gained a confidence she hadn't had before, and had a heart of gold.
I was proud of my mate. And to think I had been resistant of my feelings when I first meet her. I really belived that fate had certainly known what it was doing when it had put Leora in my life.
