Leora has always loved two things: food and fencing. Studying at university and aged 19, she always found her life rather boring but one day an accident happened and she found herself sent to a fantasy world where she was to experience lots of adventure and maybe meet the love of her life. Two years had passed since the birth of our twins, Seraphina and Aeliana, and life in the castle had settled into a chaotic, joyful rhythm. Every day brought new challenges and endless laughter, and I couldn't have asked for a better partner than Zephara to navigate this journey with.
This particular morning started like any other: with a chorus of baby giggles and the soft pitter-patter of tiny feet. Zephara and I were woken up by the sound of Seraphina's determined babbling, followed closely by Aeliana's delighted squeals. I groaned, rubbing the sleep from my eyes, while Zephara stretched beside me, a sleepy smile on her lips.
"I think the little terrors are up," Zephara said, her voice thick with sleep.
I chuckled, rolling out of bed. "Sounds like it. Let's go rescue the maids."
