"I went for a swim." She hastily answered, earning a chuckle from him. "Fully dressed?" He pinned her against the wall as his fingers traced her wet clothes. "Your heart is racing. Did you try to run away again, flower?" He felt her tremble under his touch and his lips curled into a smile that seemed sarcastic and made her tremble. "I already told you, you are mine." ... Narilia to the rescue

"What happened to Jasmine?" Narilia asked, merely a second before she changed her mind.

"Dairon is more important. He is Catalyah's mate." She pulled him back.

"Jasmine is more important to him." He insisted, before solemnly adding, "And she is more important to me than my life."

She paused for a moment in disappointment. "You let her replace our sister in your heart." She accused.

He grabbed her hand. "Catalyah's place will never be taken by anyone else."

"But I cannot control how you feel, right?" She took a deep breath. "Never mind. You can go save Jasmine and I'll go to Dairon and Goddess Alaya. This way we will get all of them."

She was already on her way before he could react and he could only follow her. If he could save Jasmine, he would have done so already. It was useless unless Narilia was there.

He followed her down a tunnel and luckily, the dungeon wasn't too far away.
