A Short Visit

"Since you summoned us, I believe that you got Mito out of the village?" Within a unique space where only the tail beast could enter, I calmly watched as the 8 tails appeared, followed by the other tail beast.

An innate skill possessed by all the tailed beasts, which allows them to communicate with one another on a deeper plain of their subconscious minds known as the Mental World.

since there are no seals or other restrictions and it is accessible for all tailed beasts and their respective jinchūriki. However, it requires a jinchūriki and their tailed beast to be fully linked to gain access to this world. Furthermore, influences from the outside can't reach this plane, even if the tailed beasts are being controlled.

To understand why we all gathered and what they were talking about, we needed to go back 12 years ago on the day after I was sealed away, Everyone gathered upon hearing I was captured and sealed away. Some were to mock me, while others were worried

"Haha, the strongest tail beast? Now who is sealed away within some human?" Shukaku the 1 tails laughed in his annoying voice. Shukaku is a sandy-brown colored tanuki, with black cursed seal markings all over its face, body, and tail.

"They would be coming after you all next, the others would build villages of their own. It would take years if they had not only begun, with the hidden leaf having me they would grow unease at the hidden leaf's power. hashirama and now me. They would team up to take them down, forcing the Hashirama who wants to maintain peace to take a step back." I said calmly my sharp eyes glaring at Shukaku, Everyone was quiet at my words, as it made some sense

"I don't know when, or who... Most likely Hashirama, his wood release suppressed my chakra. You will all be captured and sealed away within another human, most likely used as tools to maintain peace." I said causing all of them to stand up in rage, I remembered bits and pieces from the Naruto anime, but I could put things together to get a likely outcome of what would happen

"When he comes, a fight is pointless, Hashirama is a monster... He is a walking tail beast in human form. Which brings me to something I have been working on, a way for us tail beasts to get stronger." I said as my orange fur turned red with my size shrinking

"In this state, my power increases many times over. About 30 times is my current limit. I will tell you all how to do this, The principle behind this is picturing chakra as water. We tail beasts are walking oceans, while Shukaku is a pond." I said calmly, causing Shukaku to angrily look at me, to which I ignored

"Compress that ocean, trade quality for quantity, we would have less chakra but the amount of power we could unleash shall be hundreds of times greater. I plan to one day learn to take apart my body and reform it into a human form, it shall be my backup plan if the plan I'm currently thinking of doesn't work" I said calmly,

"What plan is that?" The 8 tails, a huge octopus asked with a frown

"To destroy this shinobi system which was just bulky. Because of it, clans are coming closer leaving us tail beasts with no room to walk free. During the warring era, we were free. But in this new era, we shall become cage animals." I said calmly, stunning everyone

"When you are all captured, try and be reasonable. If Hashirama lets you free, then it's good. If not, remain a reason to the person who would become your host. Befriend them... As for me, I will have Mito slowly reject this world she worked so hard to help Hashirama build, If you guys like you can build a new system," I said calmly, to which everyone looked at each other before nodding, and so I taught them and sent them on their way,

That's the end of the flashback, I told everyone the next I speak to them would be when I get Mito to leave the village

"We are heading towards the land of water, Lsobu, how is your progress with your host?" I asked within my human form while looking at a little body with a turtle shell on its back.

"I managed to befriend my host, but he only uses me for my power," Lsobu said softly, he was the 3 tail the quieter one among them, nodding slightly I looked at the 5th tail which was also in its human form

The 5th tail was called Saiken and took the form of a light purple-haired woman, similar to Lsobu she wasn't the raging tail beast type, more of kinder than the rest of us

"Mine ignore me." She said with a sigh, I asked the rest and most of them were pretty much ignored by their host, or only talked to for their power.

I expected as much, the 3rd and 5th tails were in the same village. I of course was not planning on saving them, they would just be captured again even with this found power that had frowned this human form.

"Have any of you found genjutsu to be less effective on you when how heavy your chakra is within your human form," I asked calmly, Genjutsu were techniques related to Illusion, which are super hard to break out of.

the 4 tails nodded, Som Goku the monkey king. His form was of a flaming red heard with a thick beard.

"They tried to control me, so I took on a human form and began to beat them up. It was only when their elite genjutsu master arrived that they could stop me. And even then, it was barely, I was caught off guard. If I was on guard, I could have broken free." He said with crossed arms, making me speechless, Everyone looked at Son Goku with a speechless look. The guy was spilling their secrets, now the world would know they could transform into human forms

"Sadly, I'm not shocked. Anyways, the only way they could control us was through genjutsu, since we have higher resistance than to our chakra being so dense, it's for the best. Continue to train your human form, the longer you can last in this form, the better. Also, try and see if you can build organs and stuff, I have a theory that with that stuff, our strength might reach a new height." I said calmly, to which they all nodded

We talked for some time before I left, appearing next to Mito in my human form and walking by her side. Mito snorted seeing me and just ignored me, making me sigh softly

"Come on, you can't say that this isn't interesting. You humans have such a short lifespan, you should live. Spread your wings and fly." I said while spreading my hands out, and flapping them like wings

"We humans have a short lifespan, so it's even more important we make sure that tomorrow is a brighter day for the next generation. We make sacrifices for the next generation." She said while giving me a frown

"And when would those sacrifices end? Who lost more than you? Let go of your burden for 3 days, and I promise I will take you back home." I said seriously, making Mito frown for a moment

"There are so many villages being built, These 3 days I want to see how the humans have come together to build a human future," I yelled while running off, Mito glared at me before having no choice but to follow.

"... Wait stop, this is the land of the mist," Mito said seeing the mist up ahead, but I ignored her entering the mist, giving Mito no choice but to enter,

She quickly caught up to me, and we both made our way to land, where we looked at the unique way the village hidden in the mist built their villages while taking the water into mind

The Mito quickly made a hand seal, changing her hair color to blue. She glared at me, only to see me running off to shop sealing seafood... But I was broke and gave Mito a pleading look, which annoyed her. They left a place where they got free food to go here where they had to buy food.

But she couldn't say no to me, so she bought me the food. Which I eat, only to remember I had no taste buds. But Mito wasn't willing to give me her body, which was a shame, but I still ate the food while imagining their taste

"Come, let's go shopping. You wear the same boring stuff all the time." I said while pulling Mito's hand, leaving her helpless as they went shopping. She quickly lost herself in shopping, and with me being there raining compliments at her, for the first time she felt like a girl.

"That's female clothing," Mito said seeing as I was about to pick some closing, I gave her. A confused look, to which Mito shook her head slightly. She hesitated before having me get dressed in female clothing

"This... Seems girly." I said with narrowed eyes while looking at Mito who was trying to hold back a laugh

"what? No, it looks perfect on you," she said while covering her mouth, which made her smile slightly

"... This is the first time I ever felt you so free," I said softly, causing Mito to be free for a moment. Quickly, her cold look returned, but I could sense her emotions, which were complex and filled with fear. She was scared that she would get lost in this sense of freedom.

"Let's go back home." She said while turning around to walk home, leaving me stunned. I quickly removed my clothing and had my chakra clothing reform on me before picking up the clothing she picked to buy

"I don't want them." She said without having to look back, Mito quickly left the land of waves and soon arrived back home, where everyone was worried for her.

She ignored them and simply went to her room, where she found the clothing she wanted to buy folded on her bed.

"... We are in this together, I can't sit back and watch as you live a life for others and not yourself. Today you smiled, it was pure... Sure you were laughing at me, but I don't mind so long as that smile remains." I said softly, making Mito's emotions more complex
