first mission part 1

In the aftermath of the intense battle between Geto Suguru and Satomi Gojo, a wave of exhaustion washed over the onlookers, and the silence was broken only by the sounds of heavy breathing. Geto stood triumphant, victorious but severely drained from the use of his newly developed extension technique. He chuckled to himself, "I almost lost there, haha! I guess I can't hold back against her after all."

Yaga, now free from the imminent danger of being dragged into the abyss, staggered to his feet, his expression a mix of relief and frustration. "You idiots, you almost destroyed the school!!!" Yaga roared, clearly agitated.

"Hahaha! I got caught up in the fight; I didn't even think about the school. So, how about it, Sensei, did you feel entertained?" Geto joked, his tone still lighthearted.

"Impressive, Geto," Yaga remarked, finally managing to calm down a bit. "You've certainly proven your abilities, but remember, this power comes with its own challenges and risks. Uncontrolled power leads to destruction."

"Yah, yah! Great power comes with great responsibility, yada, yada. I already know that, Uncle Ben," Geto mockingly replied, rolling his eyes. Yaga's veins popped on his forehead in frustration, but he decided to let it slide for now.

As for Satomi, she was slowly regaining consciousness with the assistance of Shoko, who had rushed to her side. "That was one heck of a battle," Shoko said with a sigh. "I guess you guys really went all out."

Satomi nodded, her determination undeterred. "It was a tough fight, but I won't give up. I'll come back stronger next time."

Geto approached the two of them, offering a hand to help Satomi up. "You're a formidable opponent, Satomi," he admitted. "I look forward to our next encounter." Satomi blushes out of embarrassment and slaps geto's hand "next time I'm gonna whoop your ass!" Satomi then walks out

Yaga, now standing beside them, decided to address the situation seriously. "This battle has shown us the importance of cooperation between sorcerers. Geto, Satomi, you've both proven your strength, but as you can see, you can't do it all by yourselves. Strength alone isn't enough."

The mention of a mission piqued their interest more than Yaga's lesson causing satomi to turn back. Satomi inquired, "What's the mission, Yaga-sensei?"

"Have you even been listening to what I'm saying?" Yaga replied, exasperated. "Yes, the higher-ups have put up a mission for the three of you."

Yaga explained, "There have been reports of a powerful curse plaguing a remote village in the countryside. It's causing significant harm, and the locals are in distress. We need to investigate and put an end to this threat, as well as heal those who have been affected by these cursed spirits. They're both suspected Special Grades."

Shoko, who was the only one of the three who knew how to use reverse cursed technique, had been listening intently. She chimed in, "Huh? I thought I couldn't leave the school, Sensei?"

"Normally, that's true, but we are severely short-staffed, and we need all hands on deck. Plus, Satomi and Suguru will be your bodyguards for this mission," Yaga instructed.

Shoko, excited at the prospect of going on a mission with her friends, nodded eagerly. "Sounds like we're going on a mission together. Count me in! I've always wanted to see you two in action."

With the team assembled, Yaga outlined the mission details, including the suspected location of the curse and its potential origins. The three sorcerers agreed to head to the village the following day,
