[Rei POV]

Sigh

"I've finally left that meeting, the empire isn't that bad though the only thing I find disgusting is their system, it's almost as back then. Well I'm going to change it all"

"Ha flying is so much fun the breeze is so refreshing, why didn't I think of this technique since, it just to reduce the gravity around me and hola, I'm in the air, but this consumes a large amount of my energy though, although I use natural energy I am not even close to mastering it, I can only control some certain element for now water is still my major issue, while the rest are just peace of cake, I've mastered fire that I can now control lightening, but mastering the tightening is another issue, due to my training at least I have gotten somewhere, the training is stressful though, steady electrifying your muscles to make them stronger, what a stress"

"Hmm? Smoke"

I look down from the air and notice a huge amount of smoke coming from a village close to the Kingdom I decided to float down to take a look

Boom

I was on the ground I looked at the devastated land there was absolutely no house that was left unturned everything was destroyed

Cough... Cough...

I heard the sound of a man coughing and so I rushed to attend to the person, while I rushed looking for the person I saw pile and hip of dead bodies some torn apart some slashed with knifes

Cough....

I heard the cough again but couldn't locate where it was coming from

I searched and searched again but yet I couldn't see him

The. I used my natural senses to locate the person

"There you are"

I ran towards a pile of wood and started to dig deep

Finaly I saw the man, with his appearance he looked as if he was in his early twenties, he was protecting his daughter from the wood i presumed because his daughter began to plead with me to help her father

I looked at his injuries, it was not that life threatening, I just used my breath to patch him up and recover his stamina

Finally he woke up

"Can you speak, what exactly happened here explain in details"

The man struggled for sometime before he could speak

"The demons they attack us, they were small in number but were too strong for us"

"Do you know where they are heading to"

I asked hoping not to hear anything related to the Earshide kingdom

"I overheard them talking about taking over the kingdom"

"What did you just say"

Then I was filled with immeasurable amount of rage I kicked the ground and ascended into the air

Boosting my my flight with my fire magic I flew at a very high speed

After a shot while I felt my energy been drawn out of me by force, that is when I new she was in trouble

"Maria I'm coming for you"

I followed the part at which my energy was drawn out from me and found my self at the North gate of the kingdom, taking a deep look I saw Maria on the floor and several of my friends too exhausted and on the floor

And then I saw a poor fellow who was about to touch Maria who was already tired

I decided to kill him first

[Rei POV Ends]

Boom.... a huge explosion was heard at the North gate

a huge crater was formed on the ground where Rei landed

Rei walks toward Maria and Carried her from the ground and taking her to the medical team to take care of her as he is fighting

Rei hands her over to one of the soldiers there present and informed the survivors

"I would advice you all to leave, I promise you, you don't wanna see the fate of this fellows here"

As he said those words the soldiers toke the warning and ran into the kingdom through the gates. As for the demons the were eloped in fear and despair

"So do any of you have any last words"

The demons were still frozen up in fear

"Then I'll take that as a no, well then gentle men shall we begin"

Zoom... fwoosh...

Rei moves with inhuman speed using his bare hands to punch holes through their guts, lungs, hearts, and head

The only thing that could be heard were shouts of pain as non of the demons could see Rei or even whom he is going to attack next

"Please spare me I'll work under you, I'll serve you till I die just please spare my life"

A man begged for his life

"Remember I gave you that opportunity but you didn't choose it"

Rei coldly replied

That was when the man took a look at his surroundings and saw he was the only one alive, then he fell into despair a few seconds later his head was on the floor as he stares at his own body

Rei cleans off the stain of blood on his hand and headed for the hospital

"He ended the battle in seconds"

"That is the magi's grandchild for you"

two of the of the soldiers who were present at the battle talked among themselves

"Foolishness will only lead you to your early graves"

Rei says as he stares at the dead bodies and body part of the deceased demons

After a while Rei didn't bother to go to the South gate because he knew that Shin had it under control, and true Shin had it under control so after Rei was done Shin also finished.

In the night at the hospital

Rei went straight to Maria's room

He opens the door silently and walks in so as not to wake her up

He places a vase and drops a pink red rose flower inside it and walks silently outside to avoid waking her up

Just before he could leave the room a familiar feminine voice stopped him at his tracks

"You know you don't have to sneak inside, you of all people should know that you're highly welcome here"

"That sounded like my line there"

Rei chuckles lightly before sitting on the chair near the bed

"How is body? Are you getting better?"

Rei flooded her with questions

"I'm not that weak you know"

She pouts

"Says the one who couldn't defeat mere weak demons"

Rei whispers to himself

"Urgh, you're so annoying, I wish you could just leave"

"Then I'm gone

Rei stands up and was about leave then he felt a light pull on his shirt

"Don't go"

"heehh? What did you say?"

"I said don't go, idiot"

Rei sits down on the bed very close to her and placing his head under her chin

"Then you of all people should know that I'll be the last person to leave you in this type of condition"

He plants a passionate kiss on her lips, Maria 9n the other hand holds his neck and accepts him tightly holding him

Meanwhile, at that same time in the same location some group of youths were spotted in the bush using some type of instrument to peek on the two love birds having a passionate time together

"Hey, are you not through give me let me see"

"Calm down just a little more"

"But that's not fair"

"Are you guys this jobless to be starting at them at a time like this"

"Shin!!"

August and Cecily courused together

"Haaa, but I'm still surprise though, I never expected Nii-san be so straight forward"

Rei says sitting beside them on the floor

"Yes I guess, unlike them there are two confused folks who don't know their left from their right"

Aug said looking at Rei and Cecily

Rei and Cecily then look at their selves and turn away shining red

"Haaa you see"

Aug sighs helplessy

"I wonder what the future holds install for us though"
