After a moment of initial panic, I took a deep breath, centering myself before focusing on Iruka Sensei's lesson. As the class concluded, I stepped outside during our lunch break, seeking solace under the shade of a tree. Sunlight flickered through the leaves, dappling the ground where I sat beneath a tree. My stomach growled a lonely melody. Today, lunch had stayed nestled in my clan house, leaving me to meditate and hone my sensory abilities beneath the open sky.
Suddenly, a pink and blonde whirlwind materialized before me. Sakura and Ino, lunchboxes held aloft like flags, descended upon me. "Sasuke-kun," Sakura chirped, eyes sparkling with concern, "I bet you're famished! I brought you lunch!"
Ino scoffed, pushing her own bento forward. "No way, Sasuke-kun, take mine! Her food's as bland as her personality."
Their bickering, a familiar symphony, grated on my already raw nerves. Had they rehearsed this lunch-offering drama, their voices harmonizing in perfect discord? A sardonic smile twisted my lips.
"Appreciate the concern," I managed to mutter, a smirk twisting my lips more in annoyance than amusement. "But can't accept. Break's almost over. Gotta go."
With that, I excused myself, leaving them bickering behind. Back in class, history droned on about chakra and ninjutsu, but my attention drifted like a leaf in the wind. It landed, inevitably, on the rumbling in my stomach. A distant echo as my stomach rumbled a fierce battle cry.
With a discreet poke, I pleaded with Choji's chip-laden bag. "Spare some? Double tomorrow, promise."
He considered it, eyes narrowed like a miniature strategist. "Sharing is caring, but these bad boys have my name written all over them."
A sigh and a future potato fortune secured, I stashed my salvation. Hinata, catching my furtive transaction, sent a questioning glance. I muttered about lunch less mornings and rumbling bellies, a truth buried beneath a mountain of secrets.
Then, disaster. Iruka's voice, sharp as a kunai, pierced the droning lecture. "Sasuke, stand up! Are you eating lunch in class?"
My jaw, mid-chew, froze. "No, Sensei," I lied, chips like sandpaper in my throat. "It was, uh… jaw exercise."
(Well I technically didn't lie. It was not my lunch. It was chips and they were borrowed.)
A skeptical eyebrow arched. "You don't have to lie, Sasuke. Just apologize. No punishment or scolding."
"Not lying," I insisted, voice firm but heart hammering. "Not eating…"
Iruka sighed, exasperation battling curiosity on his face. "Fine then, answer this: who created ninjutsu?"
The question landed like a bombshell. Before I could think, the words tumbled out, fueled by a potent mix of nerves and… something else. "Easy. Indra Otsutsuki, eldest son of Hagoromo Otsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths."
A stunned silence engulfed the room. Iruka's jaw gaped, a fish on land gasping for air, "HAAA! WHAT? Sasuke are you not paying attention? And who told you Sage has sons or that Sage has a name!"
Laughter rippled through the class, Naruto thinking I made a mistake, his roar booming above the whispers and surprised gasps. Girls clutched their pearls, eyes wide with shock. But Shikamaru, Choji, Hinata, and Shino just staring with disbelief.
Panic coiled in my gut. "Of course I know history!" I spluttered. "Everyone knows the Sage has two sons, Indra and Ashura. And what's wrong with his name? Hagoromo Otsutsuki…"
The word, once familiar, tasted foreign on my tongue. A cold dread bloomed in my chest. I'd messed up. Big time. No one in Naruto verse knows about it!
Iruka, still dazed, finally found his voice. "Quiet! If what you say is true…" his voice trailed off, skepticism warring with the spark of something else in his eyes. "Where did you hear this? Why doesn't anyone know about Indra or the other son?"
My mind raced. Back down? Lie deeper? No. This was a gamble, a leap into the unknown, but honesty, however dangerous, felt oddly liberating.
I took a deep breath. "Uchiha Clan knows. Sage introduced concept of chakra, but Indra developed hand signs and ninjutsu… like Shadow Clone, Fire Style, even Lightning Style. Not many know about his sons. Their names faded with time. Oh, and sage do have a name Hagoromo Otsutsuki."
Iruka's jaw practically hit the floor. "This… this rewrites everything I thought I knew!" His voice, usually firm, trembled with the weight of revelation. "I'm not saying you lie, Sasuke, but how can I possibly believe such a thing? And even if I did, why would the Uchiha Clan keep such knowledge hidden?"
A wave of calm washed over Sasuke despite the storm of questions swirling around him. "My clan knows because Indra himself founded it," I declared, his voice steady despite the pounding of his heart, words catching fire in my throat.
The classroom erupted. Whispers crackled like wildfire, shock painting faces in vibrant hues. Naruto, oblivious as ever, just grinned in confusion. But the gazes of Shikamaru, Shino, and Hinata bore a weight thicker than any whisper.
Iruka, still reeling, sputtered, "The Uchiha… descended from the Sage himself?" The implications sank in, heavy and momentous.
The more I thought, The more it weights. My stomach, long forgotten, churned anew.
This is just the beginning. The shockwaves of my words, the questions yet to be asked, the secrets waiting to be unearthed. But for now, I met Iruka's gaze, a single truth echoing in my eyes – the truth of a forgotten son, the architect of ninjutsu, the legacy his clan had held in hiding for generations.
"Yes," I said, the weight of history and the future settling on my shoulders.
"But why the secrecy?" Iruka pressed, frustration tinged with curiosity. "Why withhold such knowledge?"
I met his gaze. "Indra didn't crave fame. He focused on shaping ninjutsu, leaving no written proof. His legacy lived on within the Clan, whispered from generation to generation. And Indra had no problem if people think it was the sage."
Iruka pondered this, a crease forming between his brows. "And why, then, reveal it now? Did you simply lose your tongue in the heat of the moment?"
I could confess my impulsiveness, but uchiha pride, a deeper purpose simmered within me. "No," I said, my voice firm. "This knowledge cannot fade with time. I, the last of my Clan, carry the responsibility to bring our founding ancestor's legacy to light, to give Indra the recognition he deserves, which was his birth right."
My words hung heavy in the air, settling like dust after a volcanic eruption. Iruka stood speechless, the gears of his mind turning with the weight of this revelation.
Choji (with stars in his eyes)- "Wow Sasuke. That is awesome."
Shikamaru- "This was definitely not a drag. Haa... What a drag!"
Hinata just nodded agreeing with them.
Sasuke- 'Hn.'
The bell for the end of class finally rang, a jarring note in the charged atmosphere. Students spilled out, buzzing with speculation, but I remained, a solitary figure amidst the chaos, thinking everything over. I took a breath of relief.
"Sasuke," Iruka rasped, approaching him. "I must inform the Hokage. This changes everything – the history, the power dynamics… everything."
Sasuke's stomach clenched. More headaches, I thought, a wry smile twisting my lips. "Sensei," I began, trying to mask my apprehension, "there's no need for that. I can handle it…"
"No," Iruka interrupted, his voice firm. "Indra-sama's legacy deserves the recognition of the Village. I won't hesitate to ensure it."
Feeling like a chip caught in a raging torrent, Sasuke could only nod in acceptance.
"Okay, universe, can we take a break from the 'Sasuke Uchiha: Headache Emporium' theme? My skull feels like it's auditioning for a starring role in a migraine commercial."
"Apparently, being the reincarnation of a legendary ninja comes with a complimentary subscription to the 'Headache-of-the-Month Club, cling to me like a jealous lover, smothering every breath of normalcy with another tangled mess.
"Headache? Try existential dread with a side of panic. Indra's bad luck might be legendary, but mine feels like it's rewriting the history books."
Sasuke (with a sigh)- 'Wait a second Shikamaru and Hinata.'
They stopped and turn towards me. Choji also stopped with Shikamaru.
Shikamaru, Choji, and Hinata gathered around, drawn by the gravity of the situation.
Sasuke- 'I need a little help. Can you both tell your father everything that happened here? I am having a feeling that its going to become a big issue.'
"Sure, whatever." Shikamaru offered, a rare spark of determination in his usually lazy eyes.
Hinata, blushing but resolute, echoed, "Y-yes, Sasuke-kun. I w-will inform my f-father."
Choji, ever the loyal friend, grinned. "Sasuke, you are also my friend. And the first one to praise me. I will also tell my father to help you."
Sasuke- 'Thanks Choji, everyone.'
"And Sasuke," Shikamaru added, "be prepared for what's to come. This revelation will stir the hornet's nest."
Sasuke- Hm.
After that they left the Academy, bathing in the warm afternoon sun. I have to thing what can they ask and what I will answer. And I also have to make sure that I didn't end up having a Yamanaka inside my head.
After I reach home, I cook myself lunch as I was starving. And after that ended up making a plan. I knew my life had changed irrevocably. I had opened a Pandora's box, unleashing a storm of questions and consequences. But amidst the uncertainty, a single spark of hope flickered – the hope of finally honoring the legacy of my forgotten ancestor, the architect of ninjutsu, the founder of the Uchiha Clan.
[Done! Sorry I couldn't upload any chapters recently. My university exam's are currently going on so I don't have time to write. And many were saying that MC is too OP at the start because of wishes. So I am changing the wishes. 1st wish will be that Sasuke will have affinity to all elements plus Ying-Yang. 2nd wish will be that Sasuke will have 5 times his original charka at the time of massacre + perfect chakra control. 3rd wish will be that Sasuke should be able to use Uzumaki chains but nothing should change in his physical appearances. And he will be able to use the chains but he will have to learn and train for it. And I will slowly change the wishes at their previous respective chapters. Have a good day/night.]
