Unknown spectator

(AN: I thought about doing something a little different so I made this chapter from another's poin of view instead of the mc' point of view I hope you enjoy it I have a few other people I want to make chapters from their view of things if that makes any sense.)

*Unknown pov*

I was just taking a walk around at night to get rid of the annoyance I got from arguing with my husband about what's best for our sons. The basterd wants to make them into unfeeling weapons he already got to my eldest but luckily that has changed in recent years with him becoming less naïve with the clans politics and his father's machinations. Unfortunately my little one isn't as bright and follows his father around everywhere I know he's turning him on the rest of the family.

I was knocked out of my inner rant by a flash of blond while passing an alley way. I blinked than went back to the alley to see a little blond kid going from shadow to shadow and disappear around the corner of the alley. 'Hmm not bad for a kid he will be good at stealth in the future the shadows almost stick to him the only reason I spotted him was his blond hair.' I praised his ability to hide within the shadows. Deciding to follow the little runt I went after him finding him wasn't that hard but when I got to close he stopped and turned my way. Quickly using my jonin level speed I disappeared and reappeared on a roof a few buildings down from my previous location. With wide eyes I thought 'a sensor to and the range of his senses is huge for a yong child.' A grin came across my face at the cute and confused face the whiskered, blond, and blue eyed the brat was making. Than my eyes went comically wide as I thought 'wait eyes as blue as ice and blond hair with whiskers if that isn't the child of Minato and Kushina than I don't know who would be. But isn't he supposed to be in the fucking orphanage not the streets and his clothes or at least what's left of them is pathetic.' I observed from afar noticing his lack of clothes all he had on was a sock on his right foot, shorts with cuts and rips all over them and half a shirt that had rips and tears all over them 'and is that dried blood what the fuck happened to him.' More curious than ever I used my my shinobi abilities to the max and completely hid my chakra and followed him closely after all 'no matter how good he is he's still a inexperienced child he can't sense a kage level ninja when they don't want to be sensed.' I thought smugly.

I watched as he went from alley way to alley way till we came to a small path in the forest long over run by plants and animal tracks from disuse. I watched as the kid now named known to me as naruto uzumaki namikaze the only child of my best friend stopped at the start of the trail and seemed to have an argument with someone I swear I heard a sexy vixen come out of his mouth but he's only 4 he shouldn't know about any of that. Than again he should be in the orphanage not coming from a completely different location from the orphanage.

'Wait this is the way to kushina's house how does he know the way to this place or did minato and Kushina place a seal on him that would lead him here.' After a pause I decided to not show myself to him yet and see what he does. As he stepped out of the shadows I can finally get a view of his entire body not just a dark and shadowed version from before and 'what the fuck did they do to him!' I screamed from within my head almost loosing control of my chakra for a moment. The sight that lead me to this was appalling there were scars all over him some from knives some from kunai and others were obviously burn marks as if he was hit with miniature versions of the great fireball jutsu. But the worst were over his heart where the word "MONSTER" was carved into his skin and on his back where in big letters the word "DEMON" could be seen. Also looking closer at his face I could see his eyes which showed no emotion as well as had no light left in them as if he was already dead.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I thought 'My god what have they done to my not only my godchild but also the son of their yondaime hokage. I should of just took him like I was supposed to instead of listening to those old fools from the council and that old warmonger danzou.' I grit my teeth at the thought of them taking my godchild away from me only to see him again like this.

Just as I was about to go and talk and apologize to him I looked back at the spot he was in and opens my mouth only for nothing to come out as he wasn't there. "Where did he go?" I said out loud but than I saw foot steps going up the trail towards the house. Widening my eyes I went to follow but got stopped by a seal half way through 'shit I forgot about these' I thought frantically cutting my thumb with my teeth and smearing some of my blood and letting out a bit of chakra from my thumb letting the seal recognize me as it deactivated and reactivated as I passed it only to be stopped by another. 'God dammit minato you and your damm paranoia.' By the time I finally got to the house the door was locked and I couldn't get in not having a key only Naruto, minato, and Kushina can get in there without one.

Deciding to just wait till he comes out I walked to a nearby deck chair and cleaned it off with a water and wind jutsu no longer hiding my chakra at all. I took a seat and waited for Naruto to make the first move while moving around nervously thinking about what to tell him I can't just go "hey Naruto my names Mikoto and I'm your godmother sorry for not being there but I was busy with my sons and left you to suffer through whatever you went through the past 4 years." And then walk away happy that just ain't how the world works. "Shit shit shit fuck damm you, you old fogies!" I yelled in frustration.

Lost in my own thoughts I didn't notice sun rising nor did I notice the door opening and Naruto stepping out and looking at me with a conflicted look in his eyes the first emotion I would of seen from him if I was paying attention.

*third person pov*

As he walked closer to her the emotions drained from his eyes and he opens his mouth to speak but only one word came out making mikoto look at him in with sadness, regret, surprise, and a little bit of hope.

"Godmother"
