Missing people

(AN: this little story ark is going to be more of a dark and fucked up one. Most of you probably already guessed why but for those of you who haven't well no spoilers.)

*Three days later*

Looking at the map and seeing I'm getting close I motioned for woods to stop. "Rino is about four miles out we're close enough thanks woods."

"No problem boss just don't forget about my compensation." He replied before poofing out of existence.

Stretching my bones out I thought 'god riding on a wolf for three days sucks.'

'You should of been riding me than.' Came kurami's teasing voice along with a spicy picture appearing in my head.

Shaking my head I thought 'I may be an adult both mentally and spiritually but I unfortunately have the body of a child wait a few years and I'll let you do whatever you want.'

'But you already let me do whatever I want.' Was the cheeky reply making my eyebrow twitch.

'Anyways mission time so focus up.' I stated raining in all my emotions and letting my face fall into a stoic and emotionless mask.

'Alright I'll keep my senses at max. Be ready for anything we're going in completely blind. Also let me see that picture of the informant again.' Kurami spoke with all seriousness the teasing edge to her voice completely gone.

Pulling out a picture or a youthful looking woman with lavender hair, orange pupils, and yellow lips. Looking at the picture kurami nodded and sat up on my shoulder keeping a lookout.

Running through the forest towards Rino village I made clones to scout the area for anything suspicious. Than getting an idea I made a handful of clones henge into birds and fly up in the sky. I sent two in each direction one to stay and watch for anything and the other to pop and let me know of anything. Finally having the village arrive in my sensor range I scanned it for shinobi and found none. But the civilian population was short. The village should hold 150 but it was down to 125.

'What happened to the 25 missing.'I thought as kurami added

'Also I could feel their emotions and they're all depressed, sad, fearful, or full of hatred.' She spoke her findings.

Narrowing my eyes I thought 'alright something is definitely wrong here. Either bandits are only taking a few selected people or a serial killer is on the loose.'

'Hmm probably the latter but let's look for more evidence first.' Kurami added

Nodding I put on a genjutsu to hide myself and suppressed my chakra. Going through the village I saw depressed and scared looks. Finding the village brothel I saw that it was burnt to the ground. 'Shit there's no reason to only burn down a brothel and nothing else. Also this is a controlled fire there's not even a burn mark on the building next to it. This was done by a shinobi and a good one.' I deduced.

Looking for the bar I saw that as the sun went down the people started going inside. But they were in a hurry as if scared of the night. 'Well that's not really anything to suspicious it will be winter soon and even in the land of fire we get snow especially this close to lightning country.' I noted as the temperature went from a wet and chilly day to a cold and windy night. Getting a chill down my spine I thought 'ok this is a little creepy and it's to cold I'll let my clones do surveillance at night while I look for shelter.'

Going to a inn I dropped my genjutsu and put on a henge to look older and made my hair brown. I hopped down and opened the door. Hearing the bell the old woman at the desk looked up surprised. "How much for a room." I asked

She looked down and but her lip as she spoke "no more room leave."

"Can't I'm not going out while it's this cold." I stated

Gritting her teeth she held out her hand "50 Ryō." Nodding I took out the money and she gave me the key to a room. "Leave tomorrow bad things happen ti outsiders since they came."

Narrowing my eyes I asked "since who came."

"Two weeks ago men came took our people burnt down the brothel and bookstore before leaving. They've came back every now and then taking a few more and we used to have travelers come through here to get to hot water country and rice and vise versa but since then no one has come from rice and no one has returned. They also demand tribute from our village." She answered

"I see we'll thanks for the information." I spoke as I added another 50 ryō.

'Land of rice huh I don't remember any mention of it in the original so it either was dismissed like some of the other smaller countries or it changed its name.' I thought as I got the feeling I forgot something.

*clones pov*

'Flying through the air gives a feeling of freedom' I thought as I looked down for any suspicious activity. Not noticing anything much I was about to stop at the border of rice before I saw a little bit of movement. Narrowing my eyes and flying lower towards it I was met with the sight of a group of men opening a hole in the ground before jumping in it. 'Well that's suspicious.' I thought as me and the clone next to me landed next to the hole. Noticing the sun lowering I thought 'it's to late and cold for the original to check it out and we can't do shit without letting them know we're here because of the way that base was made.

Than noticing a trail leading into the land of rice I decided to follow it. "Stay here and watch the hole if they get out follow them. I'm going to follow that trail and see if I can find anything."

Binding the clone just focused on where the hole was while I left to follow the trail. I was looking for any traces of earth jutsus and the like. After following the trail for twenty minutes I saw the ground wasn't level and it looked wrong. Also seeing multiple trails go in different ways I thought 'bingo the boss will want to see this.' As I popped myself silently going up into a small plume of smoke.

*mc pov*

Getting my clones memory I thought 'perfect well I'll be careful and send more clones to scout the area.' As I created 20 more to scout.

"Hmm tomorrow will be interesting. But what am I forgetting." I spoke as I went to bed.

*unkown pov*

"Sir the child is almost ready. By tomorrow it will be ready for the birthing process." I spoke out while looking at a women with lavender hair and yellow lips.

"Perfect send a message out to danzou his little project is almost done. And tell him I want more hashirama cells also a pair of sharingan." I voice hissed out.

Looking at the white snake sitting in a large chair I spoke out "it will be done my lord will you be joining us."

"No I have more important things to do than watch a woman give birth even if it is their child but I will be sending someone to collect my compensation from danzou in a week." The snake hissed out again before disappearing in a poof of smoke.

Looking over to the right you would see two test tubes one filled with a woman's eggs with a picture of a beautiful red haired woman with violet eyes smiling. The other was of a test tube of sperm with the picture of a blond haired blue eyed man giving a small smile.

"How could he miss this it's the birth of a child between Kushina uzumaki and minato namikaze and why would he give it away to konoha." I asked out loud
