Hell gate
(AN: I set a lot up of lore in the last chapter so probably going to do less in this one.)

"Sorry shisui, but this was the only way." I spoke after taking off my fox mask while we traveled down into the cave.
"I know, I'm not mad just a little sad, plus we'll see them again." He responded as he did the same and took off his crow mask.
"Yes, yes we will. No way I'm leaving them for good." I stated with determination
"Any other information you have on these gates?" He asked
"They might send us to another dimension, or into the future, or past." I stated
"I see I'd rather be sent into the past. Maybe see the final fight between hashirama-sama and madara." Shisui commented
"A full powered hashirama vs a full powered madara…." I trailed off remembering the anime. "That would be awesome."
"Yup but let's hope that the time difference is seconds not years." Shisui replied
"Hmm that would be nice but the chances are lower than low." I answered while
*ding*
[new quest-close the hell gate and eliminate the surrounding demons]

'Well I definitely ain't facing my death yet I still got a few more years in me at least.' I thought before I spoke out loud. "From what I can piece together the hell realm was originally just an afterlife but something happened and it became a cancer infecting and destroying dimensions. We are the last remaining continent on our planet. The others seemed to of been turned into hell spawns.the uzumaki, the sage of six paths, and his brother sealed off our continent."
"Well shit that sounds like a temporary solution." Shisui commented
"Probably, jashin is escaping his prison and hell gates are opening. The uzumaki are all gone except for a handful of survivors, and the sage and his brother are dead." I replied
Sighing shisui nodded "yup definitely temporary." He mumbled
"Eh don't worry the elemental nations are strong we won't fall that easily. Plus we have more than a few very powerful demons on our side." I replied as I held up Benihime.
'Yes you do my sister scathach will protect this continent. Plus the handful of other demons won't want to loose their territory to the others.' Benihime commented
'Wait scathatch as in…' I thought
'Yup the sexy queen of shadows herself. But not the one from date they may look the same but they don't share a life.' Benihime commented
'Wow that's surprising.' I thought before being knocked out of my thoughts as a reddish light glowed out of a pit that was in front of us. "We're here." I stated as I put my fox mask back on.
"No really." Was his sarcastic response. "Let's get this over the sooner the better." He spoke while putting on his crow mask.
"Yes lets." I replied as we jumped into the pit. As we did there was a indescribable feeling that washed over me as the darkness of the cave disappeared and was replaced with a fiery heat and reddish glow. Seeing the ground approaching we braced for a landing. Hitting the ground we both did a roll while pulling out our weapons. I had Benihime and my chakra tanto, while he had a chakra tanto of his own and a kunai.
Hearing the demonic chanting only increase in intensity we shared a look before heading in that direction. As we went we saw signs of a battle there were corpses of disfigured and fused animals, giant insects, and what looked like humans but were a fleshy mess. 'Those are low level demons, mostly bad souls that went to hell and became demons.' Benihime commented
"Those are low level demons." I repeated benihime's words to crow.
"Got it." He replied shortly as we continued on slowly making sure not to be ambushed. After a few minutes we heard a pained grunt. Narrowing our eyes we saw a red haired man with a katana standing over dead or injured bodies of other red headed people some men and others woman. He was fighting a few of the low level demons while a larger one with horns and a spiked tail watched. It was also covered in what looked like bones protruding from his chest, back, and legs.
'That's a mid level demon.' Beni replied in my head
'Mid level demon.' I signed to crow as he nodded back. 'Pincer attack.' I signed as well after taking in the scene. Nodding we split up. After a few seconds we got in position.
'Now.' He signed as we appeared next to the mid level demon. My Benihime covered in wind chakra went to cut him in half while my tanto covered in lightning chakra went for where his heart would be. Crows wind covered tanto was on course with the demons neck.
*sling*
*thud*
The sound drew the other demons and conscious red heads attention as the larger demon was cut down. Placing down a silencing seal in time to hid the mad roars from the low level demons me and crow easily cut them down. "That wasn't to hard." Crow commented
"No but you definitely jinxed us." I replied dryly
"Bahh it'll be fine." He rebuffed.
"You like raising flags?" I asked only to get a snort from him.
"Thanks." Came a tired male voice. Focusing on the only man standing me and crow narrowed our eyes already having an idea on who they were. "I am uzumaki taka, this is my team or what's left of them." He introduced himself while motioning to the other two still alive members while the others laid unmoving around the room. Some were missing limbs or heads, while others had gaping holes in their chests. "May I ask who you are?" He asked
'He's an uzumaki like you so.' Crow signed
Discreetly giving him the finger I spoke "we are fox and crow part of konohas anbu division."
"Konoha, what's that?" He questioned
"Shit." Me and crow let out.
"Who's the uzumaki clan leader?" I asked
"Uzumaki takashi, why." He responded
"Lady mito's grandfather than." I spoke out loud
"These guys are old." Crow added
"Old?" The man asked before his eyes widened. "The time bubble." He breathed out in understanding
A woman behind him with a bleeding leg looked down and asked "how long has it been?"
"Around 250-300 years depending on how old takashi was when you came down here.
"I see." The last member a man missing a hand spoke lowly as he let out some tears.
"So what is konoha and this anbu?" Asked the taka
Not having the patience to explain the whole hidden village story or the time I spoke "not the time we still have a mission to complete. We need to close this hell gate." Than motioning to crow we turned to leave towards the chanting.
"Wait we'll come." The woman stated as she got up. "My healing factor is kicking in, I'll be fine soon." As she finished she picked up a long pike.
"Same I might be missing a hand but I can still fight." The other wounded man stated as he got up and pulled out a kunai.
"Ya we might not be the strongest but we can help." Taka exclaimed
Looking at crow I shrugged and thought 'could be helpful.'
"Fine but we do this quietly." Crow stated as he turned away from the uzumaki group.
Following us as we slowly made our way through the tunnels we came across more dead uzumaki and demons. Some demons were feasting on the bodies. After killing the low level demons quietly the chanting became clearer and we felt the ground shaking as we came to an entrance. Looking in we saw a huge room filled with hundreds of demons. There was a human looking one in the middle surrounded by mid level demons while the low level ones stood still. They were all chanting the same things as a woman was laid down on a stone table next to the human looking one. 'You must hurry they will sacrifice that woman and open up the gate fully once that happens a true demon will be able to come through.' Benihime yelled out within my head
"We have to stop them NOW." I stated as I summoned my four tailed state and rocketed after the human looking one. Hearing the urgency and fear in my voice crow activated his susanoo immediately and went to fight the mid level demons. While the uzumaki went to hold off the low level ones.
Appearing in front of the human looking demon I kicked him away quickly while leaving a clone to pick up the woman.
*crash*
*boom*
"Who dares!" Screamed out a voice. Looking over to the hole in the wall where I kicked the demon I saw a man with black hair and red and yellow eyes come out of the wall, he had long black horns and sharpened teeth. "You human who are you to dare interfere with me." He screamed as I felt the power flood out of him.
'Shit.' I thought upon feeling his power eclipse mine. 'This is going to suck.' I bemoaned as I got ready.
