I smirked, seeing who had punched the daylights out of the pig.
It was none other than our renowned gangster friend, Lucas.
"You okay, Princess?" Lucas asked, handing me a meat skewer.
"Yeah, I'm okay, but you do know physical violence is prohibited in this academy," I replied, taking a bite.
"There isn't anyone who'll dare question me," he said confidently, gesturing to the curious onlookers.
"I dare," a familiar feminine voice said. I turned to see Princess Tessia Eralith, my childhood friend, standing there. I cursed internally, wondering why Tessia was getting involved.
Nicolas, who had just been punched, stood up with anger in his eyes. "President, this boy punched me, Nicolas Dreyl, while we weren't in a duel."
Lucas whispered to me, "Art, I think I've seen this girl before. Who is she? I can't remember."
I lightly slapped the back of his head. "Dumbass, she's the Student Council President, Princess Eralith."
He still looked confused. "Okay, but where have I seen her?"
I facepalmed. "Seriously, bro, she's the girl you spoke about kidnapping."
"Oh yeah, I remember now," he nodded.
Our conversation hadn't gone unnoticed. Tessia turned her attention to Lucas. "What do you have to say about this?" She glanced at me, and I gestured for her to let it go. She looked back at Lucas, ignoring my plea. Really? You wanna be like this. I decided as I also became cold.
Lucas smiled and spoke with a carefree attitude, "Stop acting like this, Nicolas. Aren't we friends?" He put Nicolas in a headlock, whispering loudly enough for us all to hear, "You don't want to be messing with the Wykes right now."
The Student Council looked stunned at Lucas's confidence. As he released Nicolas, he asked, "Aren't we?"
Nicolas, terrified, nodded rapidly in front of Tessia.

Who the hell does he think he is? I looked at the blonde boy, the same height as Art. I just hope Art doesn't get angry for not being on his side.
Why, GOD, do you place me in these kinds of scenarios? I glanced back at Art, whom I had ignored previously. His gaze was now cold as ice, looking at me with a chill that pierced through my resolve. Oh, I have messed up.
The color drained from my face as I realized the gravity of my mistake. Ignoring Arthur's plea had been a grave error, and my inner sense of justice had jeopardized our relationship.
Oh, God, please don't let him hate me. I need to resolve this situation.
But before I could do anything, Clive, who had been standing behind me, stepped forward and yelled at the blonde boy.
"Who the hell do you think you are?" He placed a hand on the boy's shoulder, trying to be domineering.
No, no, Clive, let me just defuse the situation. "Nooo—" My voice was cut off as the boy spoke, his voice cold. I could feel a slight amount of bloodlust oozing from him.
"Lucas Wykes," he said.
I had heard this name before. Yes, he's the youngest AA Rank Adventurer, but more importantly, his family name, Wykes, is associated with the kidnapping of Elves. Art, what kind of people have you made friends with?
As I thought this, Clive spoke again. "So, what, you think you can do whatever you want?"
He tightened his grip on Lucas's shoulder, but before he could do anything else, Art intervened, plucking Clive's hand off. I could see the blue glow in his eyes.
"Keep your hands to yourself," Arthur spoke, his eyes cold with bloodlust as he plucked Clive's hand off Lucas's shoulder.
From the corner of my eye, I could see Lilia, the girl who had lived with Art, with a look of worry in her eyes.
I needed to resolve this right now. Nicolas, the one who had started all this, was long gone, but the crowd still watched intently.
"You guys can go," I said, trying to defuse this irrational conflict. I gestured to Art, but his gaze remained cold.
"President, I think we should set an example of him," Clive said, pointing to Lucas.
Lucas's voice was cold as his bloodlust rose to a palpable extent. The fear was evident in the eyes of those around him, and Clive, who was the target of this bloodlust, was trembling with fear. "It's Lucas. LUCAS WYKES," he declared.
I looked at Arthur, who sighed and placed his arm around Lucas's shoulder, gazing at me. "Let's go, Bro."
Lucas looked at Arthur, who gestured to him in a secret code I didn't know. Lucas nodded, giving Clive a final menacing look before they moved out. Elijah followed behind them, giving us a little bow, trying to apologize.
As they walked away, I could only hope that this incident wouldn't come back to haunt us. My heart was heavy with the worry of Arthur hating me.

"What got into you guys? They were the Student Council," Elijah spoke, concern evident in his eyes.
Ignoring his words, Lucas spoke, "Arthur, Elijah, I want one of you either in the Student Council or somewhere in a high position in this academy." His voice was cold as he continued, "I don't want any princess or council trying to bind us in their constraints."
Arthur nodded to his words, while Elijah still wore that concerned look. "But still, you overreacted a bit," Arthur said, continuing, "You shouldn't have hit the boy in the face."
"I did the right thing. He was about to slash you, and besides, I was feeling scratches in my palm, indicating that I needed to beat someone," Lucas smirked as he spoke.
Elijah looked at him with a "duh, are you serious, bro?" expression. Arthur just scratched his chin. "Seriously, man, I get this itching sensation in the center of my palm just before I rough someone up," Lucas justified.
"That Motherf#$ker just ruined the mood," Lucas said as he took out three meat skewers from his ring.
"You got more?" Arthur asked, grabbing one.
"Yeah, I brought six just as a precaution," Lucas replied, handing one to Elijah, who took a bite.
"You and your 'precaution'—just say you liked them," Elijah said, looking at Lucas, who was eating alongside Ebon.
