Jeremy read the newpaper to catch up on what was currently happening from the murder of two couples in the forest to how Tyler and Vicky both got hospitalized two days ago at the bonfire

He needed to make sure that most of the things stayed the same because it was only to drastically change once he put a stake through Damon's heart

He wasn't planning on staying to the original plot much longer he was going to save more people

Especially Aunt Jenna and Alaric since they made a good ship and no one can say otherwise

Though he did not mind Tanner getting killed

"Oh well time to make breakfast and go pick up Caroline"

Jeremy left to go pick up Caroline leaving earlier before Elena or Jenna got ready for to leave though he did prepare their breakfast and fill their drinks with vervain

"Hi Jeremy" Anna stood infront of his house waiting for him

"Why.." he was not surprised that she was waiting out here for him for who knows how long since she had done this yesterday as well

"Just walking my friend to school" Anna gave the same answer she did yesterday

Instead of feeling angry he felt kinda happy deep down that he was being stalked by someone pretty but he knew she was wanted him for the journal and blood

"I'm going to go pick up my girlfriend"

"Then I'll go with you" she said not taking the hint

Seeing that she was persistent he just decided to bring her along since there was no real harm except that it would ruin the romantic vibe he was going for

"Hey Caroline you ready yet" he knocked on her door

He had already sent her a text beforehand to tell her he was coming

"I'm ready"

Caroline opened the door looking shocked and mad when she saw Anna beside Jeremy

"I'm walking Jeremy to school what else does it look like" Anna said sticking her tongue out at her

"Sorry about this Care but she just kept persisting and she doesn't have any friends beside me right now"

"It's fine I should have expected this" Caroline sighed but kept her frustration inside trying not to come off as a paranoid girlfriend

The three of them walked to school and surprisingly Anna never interrupted them and kept quiet only talking and joining in the conversation every now and then without acting like a third wheel much

Caroline and Jeremy bid ways when they arrived at school involving a bit of kissing

"You ready for history later" Anna asked him while they were entering the science class in the morning and history was the second period

"Nope Tanner just hates for no reason I don't get how your so good at history Anna. It's like you were there when the events happened" he casually joked

"Oh I just read a lot of history books when I lived in the countryside since there wasn't anything else to do"

Class had shortly started after that with Tanner targeting Jeremy as usual using every chance he could to be an asshole asking him questions they haven't even covered yet

"Which country was the first to give women the right to vote in 1893" Tanner asked Jeremy

"New Zealand" Anna replied in Jeremy's stead

Tanner had a look of deja vu like it has happened already but he decided it was just luck and continued

"Who was prepared to exchange his English kingdom for a horse?"

"Richard III" Anna replied almost instantly

Tanner decided to stop getting worked up like an dumbass and resumed his lesson not picking on Jeremy anymore learning from his earlier class to not bully the Gilbert and mysterious foreigners

The class ended without anything else special happening afterwards

"Thanks Anna" he told her afterwards feeling grateful for backing him up

"Thats what friends do for each other you wanna go have lunch at the Grill for our break" she asked him

"Yeah I don't mind since Caroline is too busy today to have lunch" he accepted her offer

Hearing that Jeremy accepted to have lunch together alone made her face lit up feeling like she finally one upped Caroline

They arrived and ordered some lunch which was when Jeremy saw a particular murderous vampire

"So Jeremy how did you meet Caroline and how did you end up together" Anna inquired

Jeremy refocused his attention to Anna looking away from Damon

"Well she was my sister's friend for a while and we just hit it off recently and wanted to see would dating work. Why do you ask?"

"I just wanted to know how someone like you ended with someone like her" she replied

"I mean like you don't seem social and she seems like a social butterfly no offense" she rephrased her sentence

Since unlike a certain yandere Anna figured out that talking bad about Caroline only ended up with more hate from Jeremy

"We really aren't that much different and she really helped me when I was discovering myself and going through some problems" he referred to his Katerine problem which didn't seem to bother him as much anymore

"Jeremy you know you can talk to me whenever you want, having only one person to talk to about your problems is never too healthy" Anna spoke as if she experienced it before

"No I really am better now but thanks anyway"

He ate his lunch with Anna going back to school to finish the rest of the day

Jeremy went home to find Elena not there and Aunt Jenna went to his teacher meeting

"Elena probably went to Stefan's and probably met Damon" he muttered looking at the time

He decided to call Caroline to make sure everything was alright but he was feeling anxious

"Hey Care you ok" he said

"Yeah. im ok.. currently I'm at home" Her voice sounded shaky even a bit of sobbing was heard

"You want me to come"

"Noo its ok I'm just tired thats all" Caroline said but her tone contrasted her words

"Can you pass me to Damon" Jeremy said confident that it was Damon or another vampire

"Hello Jeremy" a cheerful man's voice came out of the phone

Hearing the man's voice had already confirmed his suspicions that it was Damon

"Hi Damon Salvatore you better leave Caroline alone"

"Or what you going drive a stake through my heart" Damon mocked Jeremy

"No that would be too nice for you but what I can do is make sure you never find the gem in the lockwoods mansion and you'll never be reunited with Katerine" Jeremy wasn't afraid to use his knowledge

"How do you know that and how do you know me. Tell me or I'll kill you" Damon demanded for answers

"Well if I die then you might regret it since there was something you weren't told about the tome"

"What?"

"Meet me at my house, I assume you stalked Elena enough to know where it is"

"Fine but if I find out you lied then I will rip out yours and Caroline's throat"

Damon said hanging up

Jeremy knew that he fucked up and was too carried away by his emotions

A couple seconds later he heard a knock on the door only to find Damon standing there when he opened it

"You want to let me in" Damon asked agitated and unpatient

"Then what you kill me once I tell you what you need" Jeremy had the advantage of information but once he lost it then he could very much die

"You think I won't kill everyone else" he threatened

"Calm down come on in and take a seat" Jeremy invited him in

"Now we're talking" Damon walked in with his devilish smile
