5 CHAPTER 5: VILLAGE

Alex: "Hmm...I have prepared all that I can. now just one last thing is left before I leave this place."

Thought Alex as he walked towards the bandits with Naruhito by his side. He decided to do some experiments with his ability to assimilate. So he tried to assimilate bandit 1 and use the biomass to heal Naruhito's and low and behold the injuries started to heal at a visible rate.

Alex: "voo....I can absorb biomass to heal my injuries."

Excited by his revelation Alex decided to do another experiment that was at the back of his mind for some time, eager to see the results. He decided to take over the body of the bandit without absorbing it so that it could not manifest any of Zetsu's characteristics. But contrary to his expectations the experiment failed as the chakra coils in the bandit's body were too rigid not letting Alex's chakra to take over the body without changing the psychological forming a pale plant-like body. Alex tried to force the process but that only resulted in the many tenketsu points of the bandit burst causing his death. Disheartened by the result Alex sighed and absorbed the remains of the Bandits.

Alex: "*sigh* I guess this is why Mr M said it won't be as outrageous as I thought"

'I guess some more experimentation is needed. Though from the looks of it, I think assimilating with an embryo when the chakra pathways are still developing will give me the desired results.'

Alex : *Sigh...*"Sadly, right now is not the time for this."

Said Alex as he thought about a way by which he could overcome his weakness. Due to the genetic makeup of Zetsu. he had a major weakness from bodies that exude powerful life force or yang chakra as it causes his body to grow uncontrollably turning him into a tree.

Alex 'I guess, I need to study medical ninjutsu to use my abilities more Skill fully and get stronger.'

Alex "Now the question is how will I do that...I don't belong to any of the clans to get education and mentoring."

But then Alex had an idea.

"or....do I?!"

Said Alex thinking about possible ways to join a clan discreetly and learning all the jutsu they had.

After brainstorming some ideas Alex came up with a few solutions.

Alex: "Hmm...I can think of a few ways to join any and get their resources.

I can use my transformation technique to impersonate somebody to infiltrate the clan, but it will only work temporarily and the probability of getting discovered is quite high. So it's a big NoNo. Or

I could just take over an embryo and be born in the clan!!! yes, this will work."

'Now the question is which clan it should be...Since I need medical knowledge, So the best clan should be the Senju clan.'

"But just in case something happens, I am not the one to put all my eggs in one basket!"

After thinking for some time Alex made the decision, that he would make one clone to acquire medical ninjutsu, wood release Kekkei Genkai and senjutsu from the Senju clan as well and remove his weakness to yang chakra with the sage body of the Senju clan.

After that, he will try acquiring the Uchiha clan's gene and find a way to unlock the Rinnegan and the Rinne Sharingan.

Lastly, he will use Naruhito to find genetic material and make a base for himself in the ninja world.

Having established a base and gaining some basic information about the surroundings Alex merged into Naruhito and started to prepare for his journey the next day. After arranging everything thing he got onto his bed and called it a night.

[Next Day]

Alex: "Haah...*Yawn*!"

waking up the next day Alex packed his belongings and got ready for his journey having prepared his disguise and equipping his sword he left the cave and headed in the direction of a small village.

Alex: "ok my first destination should be to travel to the nearest Settlement".

Walking through the forest occasionally stumbled upon some wild animals and chakra beasts Alex came across a small settlement near the edge of the forest.

At the sight of the settlement, Alex *sighed*

Alex: 'Finally I found the village.Thank God! I was starting to get fed up with chakra beasts. Although they give chakra and biomass it's still tiring dealing with the chakra beasts!'

The village was rather small just a large chief's house was a brick structure. there were many wooden houses and a windmill along with a few farms at the edges of the village.

Alex went to a two-story wooden hotel as It was getting dark since the sun had already settled below the horizon.

Alex: "It's getting dark, I should book an inn for tonight and try to get directions for the Senju estate."

Said Alex as he went up to the receptionist: "Hello sir how may I help you?"

asked a middle-aged lady at the reception.

Alex: "Hello My name is Naruhito and I would like to book a room for the night."

The lady looked at Alex and said: "ok... 1 bedroom for a night will cost you 200 ryu and the checkout time is at noon. If you also include the dinner then the total will be 250 Ryu"

Alex: "Hmm...I'll take both the room and the dinner" saying that Alex gave the receptionist 250 ryu from his small pouch that he had separated from his loot.

The lady counted the money and said: "Good, I have countered the money. Follow my husband. He will take you to your room and the dinner is at 9 so don't be late."

Saying that the lady pointed to a bald man that was coming towards them.
