CHAPTER 14:Master ye

"BANG!" the bear hit a tree making it fall as it continued running going into a sharp right and entering a cave as it set David down and laid beside him staring intensely at the entrance of the cave.

loud steps could be heard as the ground shook heavily and the beast terror washed across the forest that even the birds and the beast of the air fell to the ground.

suddenly there was silence and darkness took place as if the sun never rose, it was like a nightmare even for the beasts that lived there as some could be seen shivering.

a high deafening roar resounded throughout the forest as the sun light pierced through the forest and the air blew in,the beast was gone just like that.

the bear closed it's eyes as it fell asleep feeling the sudden peace that washed across its body, David moved closer to it hugging it as he too felt the peaceful air that blew into the cave.

time passed by quickly when David woke up as he felt comfortable like he was back in the Wayne mansion on his soft bed and silky sheet, opening his eyes seeing he was on a black bear, a very fascinating bear.

he caressed the black fur as he lost himself in the smoothness moving his hands to and fro going towards its head feeling the hardened like steel head as he suddenly gazed at its closed eye suddenly it opened as the bear stood up staring at David who was startled.

"thank... you... for... saving...me" David spoke one word at a time as he sat down comfortably smiling warmly "my name is David, David Wayne what is yours" trying to communicate better with a bear that seemed to understand human language.

the bear shook its head as it walked outside looking left then right "how about I give you a name" the bear looked back at David as it nodded it's head.

"cool how about Greg ehehe" the bear shook its head sharply as it sat down opposite David "hm yeah I agree,...okay how about Damien" the bear nodded as it put down its head.

putting his hand on its head as he felt a warm like electric current pass through his body feeling the bears thoughts and feelings, a connection was established.

"your happy, also your only two years old uh" tears rolled down his left cheek as he hugged its head "from now on you don't have to be lonely, it's me and you now Damian".

the bear seemed to give a 'wassup with you been emotional' gaze.

"what, I'm just...uh forget it" David walked out of the cave with his sack bag while the bear smirked as it followed him.

hours passed as they both walked further into the forest suddenly feeling a faint aura that seemed sweet and serene as David rushed towards it.

Damian growled as it pulled David back throwing him on its back "why did you stop me it doesn't look dangerous in that direction" David frowned as Damian took another route.

both came to a cliff as they both stared at a dark hole that was filled with more of the sweet aura as a wild goat (D bronze class) was seen near the hole eating when a tentacle crawled below dragging it down.

the wild goat bleated continuously when suddenly it became quiet as a skull could be seen thrown out of the black hole.

"eh I'm sorry I doubted you Damian thank you again for saving my life again" David stared in terror at the hole as they both continued there journey.

days passed as they hunted for other lower beasts and fishes as they lived together and slept together as days turned into months.

"hey Damian do beasts evolve" David asked as he layed beside a large tree with Damian by his side.

"uh they do, but how" David seemed to have learned how to communicate with Damian through their telepathic connection.

"so you don't know yourself" David smirked as he looked at Damian mockingly, the bear could only turn its body using its butt to face David.

"oh come on ahah" David chuckled as he burst out laughing when a howl sounded in nearby followed by other howls, they seemed to be surrounded.

David stood up as he took out his knife on a stick spear and heightening his senses "to the left" he yelled as Damian slashed his claw without hesitation hitting a grey wolf as it's head and hind legs scattered on the ground.

"down right and left" though grey wolves were E bronze class they were nothing against a C silver class titan black bear.

two more wolves fell dead as Damian caught one ripping it in two, when suddenly the air seemed suffocating as a large wolf about 1.8 meters tall dashed towards Damian pushing the bear backwards.

"a C silver class beast" David rushed towards Damian "let's run it's a C silver class beast too" Damian shook his head as he went on all fours giving out a loud roar as his body grew bigger his fangs grew taller and wider and his claws more sharp than an assassins dagger.

"wow I guess we can, I'm by your side buddy" David stared at the wolf with immense confidence as a removed his knife from its stick standing ready.

the wolf let out a black mist covering about 10 meters as it ambushed Damian from the back, "Damian behind you" giving a sharp turn slashing down heavily as the black mists blew away and David trying to remain still as the wave tried to blow him away.

" uh we did it" David shouted aloud as he saw the dead wolf under Damian's large claw as he ran towards it poking it with its knife.

"it's really dead" he looked up at Damian who sat down as his body reduced back to its original state quickly as it gave out a little steam.

"wow" David looked amazed at Damian "so what do we do with this" he continued poking the dead wolf as Damian finally stood up and walked away.

"hey wait up where are we going" David ran after Damian leaving behind the bloody scene of the wolves.

some months passed by again as David finally turned six as they both finally left the millennial forest and standing in front of a temple gate.

David looked at Damian as if expecting something as the bear looked back at him with a 'what?' gaze.

"I thought you were gonna go back to the forest and I was gonna tell you, you were my best friend, you know that sort of thing" David remembered a movie he'd watched.

Damian opened his mouth as if to laugh "oh come on " am I the only been emotionally sentimental here.

Damian smirked as he suddenly felt another presence behind the gate "what's wro..".

"I guess you made it here atlast" a young man with a bald head and four black dots on it stood in front of them as if he had been there.

Damian suddenly backed off dragging David away from him.

"David Wayne I believe, and it seems you found yourself a unique beast, my, how lucky of you" the man stated at Damian in a simple gaze as he gave a slight smile.

"w-who are you" David asked perplexed.

"I am to train you till you ascend, I'm your great uncle James brother, you can call me uncle ye Wayne or master ye"
