Elizabeth learns the truth (4)

Olivia nodded, "Yes, that was the main reason he called the vampire. He was charged with sexually assaulting Melissa, and to prove his innocence, he showed that he was a virgin."

Life seemed to return slightly to Elizabeth, which Olivia wanted to avoid. She needed her consumed by anger.

"That's not good," Olivia warned, grabbing her attention. "For years, he's had these rumors about him, and he did nothing to dispel them." She needed to lead her toward the conclusion. It was the only way for her plan to succeed.

"I don't understand." Elizabeth said in confusion.

"Think about it," Olivia said, touching her chin. He could have dispelled these rumors long ago, yet now is when he chooses to. He's been planning this all this time—probably ever since these rumors started. Don't you see how dangerous he is? He was willing to endure nearly ten years of having his name and yours dragged through the mud—just for this moment."

"You mean he planned all this?" She asked.

"Once word gets about the inquiry, nearly everyone in the academy will try to get into his good graces. I wouldn't be surprised if many girls here try to win his heart and begin to look at you with jealousy." She replied.

Suddenly, Olivia began to feel killing intent radiating off Elizabeth and knew she was close. She just needed a little push, and her face became filled with sorrow.

"I won't lie. She began, "I've even found myself becoming drawn to him." Only to stop when the killing intent was directed toward her. It hardly fazed her, but she put on an act and widened her eyes ever so slightly.

Elizabeth seemed to regain some sense and reigned in her killing intent. Because Olivia was the kingdom's princess, which could be seen as treason, "I'm sorry." She said, looking away.

"Don't be." Olivia smiled. "I would have done the same if I were in your position. I want you to know that I want nothing to get in the way of our friendship, and if you tell me to. I will crush my feelings for him." She emphasized with a snap of her fingers, "Like that."

Elizabeth shook her head, "I won't tell you who you can or can't like." She paused momentarily, "But none of that matters because of Cas."

"Unless she were to die." Olivia said.

Olivia watched as Elizabeth left her room in a fury. Her plan had been a success. If Ciaran was planning on using his relationship with Elizabeth to help further his goal. Then, he would be in for a rude awakening.

In a sudden move, she lifted her hand and summoned a sharp, glistening blade made entirely of ice. With a swift motion, she flung the icy weapon towards the bookcase, where it flew with deadly accuracy. However, just before it reached its destination, a brilliant light shimmered into existence, blindingly bright, before exploding into countless glittering fragments.

Olivia's face contorted into a displeased expression. She let out a sigh and muttered, "As expected."

A figure emerged from the bookcase. The mysterious entity stood at an impressive height of almost seven feet, making her presence even more intimidating. Her entire body was a sickly white as if drained of all color, and she seemed to be wearing nothing but a chitinous-like armor that barely covered her feminine parts. The armor was composed of several layers of thin, overlapping plates that glinted menacingly in the dim light. But the most terrifying feature of all were the four spider-like legs that protruded from her back, curling in front of her like a shield and adding a sense of otherworldly creepiness to her already unnerving appearance.

"Now. Now." A seductive voice sounded inside Olivia's head. "Is that any way to treat a guest?" the voice continued.

"Ciaran sent you here to kill me?" Olivia asked, summoning two ice swords, "I promise you that I won't be an easy kill."

The creature looming before her was none other than the Spider Queen herself - a powerful being who, for reasons unknown, was under Ciaran's command. She vividly recalled how this fearsome creature had swiftly subdued the Knight-Captain of the Royal Guard.

With a smile that crept across its face, the creature confidently approached Olivia, and suddenly - as if from nowhere - a voice resounded in her mind.

"Child, if I had wanted you dead. I would have devoured you along with your King-Captain." The creature licked its lips, "Unfortunately, Ciaran has forbidden me from laying a finger on you."

"Then what are you doing here?" Olivia asked out loud, not overlooking the creature's last statement.

"To help, of course. Ciaran is already aware that you will try to turn his betrothed against him. In fact, he is counting on that." The creature placed its hands on its hips.

"Why should I believe you?" Olivia asked, pointing a sword at the creature.

"Because we both want the same thing." The creature said inside her mind.

Suddenly, an image of an older Ciaran filled Olivia's mind. His face withered by time, and his eyes burned with intense fury. She saw him marching forward, leading an endless horde of monsters stretching out as far as the eye could see. The army moved with a terrifying sense of purpose, their weapons held high and ready to strike at a moment's notice. Olivia shuddered as she realized that his destination was the elven capital.

"Wh… what is this?" Olivia stumbled backward as the swords fell from her grip.

"Child." The voice said sensually, "This is the future that will come. He will bring about a new age of terror in this world." The creature wrapped its arms around itself with a satisfied look.

Another image filled Olivia's mind. She saw Ciaran standing in the middle of a crowded room, surrounded by women of various races. Some were tall and slender, while others were short and curvy. Despite the diversity of the group, they all were naked and prostrated themselves before Ciaran, who barely even glanced at them.

Olivia was lost in thought when a striking figure abruptly appeared in the vision. It was a tall woman with a slender yet curvaceous figure, donning tight-fitting clothing that emphasized every inch of her body. Her hair was an unusual shade of blue, with a few strands of black running through it, and it cascaded down her waist in a tousled manner. As Olivia's eyes met hers, her pulse quickened, and she realized with a start that the woman before her was none other than her future self.

With confidence radiating from her every move, future Olivia walked past the other women who were bowing before Ciaran and took a seat on his lap. The two of them locked lips in a passionate embrace, completely absorbed in each other. Olivia couldn't help but feel a mix of awe and confusion as the vision faded.
