A New Villainess Emerges! (2)

Unaware of what was happening half a mile away, Olivia could only focus on what was in front of her, the numerous enemies surrounding her.

"It's my life!" She screamed as she unleashed all the rage that had been building up within her for so long

Suddenly the 20-meter radius expanded an extra 30 meters for a total of a 50-meter radius around her, and anything that was caught within that radius that was not stronger than her froze instantly.

Panting, Oliva steadied herself as she leaned on a large rock and gazed at the destruction she had caused. Nearly thirty ice statues were created within her domain, ranging from wolves to werewolves. Some shattered as there were frozen in midair and crashed to the ground. The ground beneath her was frozen solid; if one weren't careful, they would lose their footing and slip. She could even see her breath coming out as she gasped for air.

Her vision started to darken and become blurry as her mind began to get fuzzy. Manna deficit, she thought. She had used too much mana within a short time, and now her body was struggling to function.

"You took out nearly sixty of my clansmen, as expected of the princess." A deep booming voice said

Olivia struggled to keep her eyes open as she faced the threat. The tallest werewolf she had ever seen was approaching her with four other werewolves behind him.

Standing nearly eight feet and easily weighing close to 400 pounds of pure muscle, its black fur was covered in a layer of frost, but it didn't seem to mind as he strode toward her.

"Markos." She said as the figure stopped three meters away from her

"Princess, it's over. Come quietly, and I will ensure that no more harm will come to you. Unlike your father, I am a man of my word." Markos said as he held a pair of mana-sealing chains

"What's your issue with my father?" She asked, hoping to stall for time

"He hired us for a job, and after we completed it, we were rewarded with betrayal as he intended to wipe us out. We managed to defend ourselves but at the cost of losing my wife and daughter." Markos said as he took a step forward. "Now, princess, come with us. I won't ask again." He finished, taking another step forward.

Olivia closed her eyes and took a deep breath, thinking that none of this had anything to do with me, yet here I was. Most likely, that was a trap set by my father with me as bait, willing to use his daughter as bait. Olivia couldn't help but chuckle to herself. It was a good plan, very logical, she thought, and if she was in her father's place, she might have done the same as well…

But, as she opened her eyes, they shimmered blue for a moment as she formed an ice sword in each hand and took a fighting stance.

"I will not be a pawn in someone else's game." She repeated very familiar words as she looked at the five werewolves in front of her and charged

(Marko's POV)

Markos, expecting the princess to be exhausted and unable to fight, was momentarily stunned as the princes charged forward with only 2.5 meters between them. She was able to get in close and slashed with her right sword.

Quickly reacting, he slashed at the sword with his claw, shattering it, but what happened next shocked him. Instead of falling, the broken blade stayed suspended mid-air and began bombarding them with ice shards.

Taking his eyes off the princess for a moment to protect his eyes, he howled in pain when he felt a slash behind his left knee and, in anger, kicked back, only to hit one of his allies.

"Blizzard of the endless." Came the cold voice

Suddenly Markos became blinded as everything turned white, and he heard a yelp from behind him. Turning around, he noticed the strong scent of blood and, stepping forward, kicked a body on the floor. Realizing it was one of his allies, he howled in anger, instantly jumping back to avoid a blade aimed at his neck.

Jumping back, he momentarily forgot that the ground was currently covered in ice, and he lost his balance for but a moment, but it was all It took, and he nearly avoided another blade aimed at his throat.

"Enough, Princess!" He yelled as he regained his footing and, this time, grabbed the blade at the cost of wounding himself

Lashing out with his left hand, he felt it when he grabbed a slender throat, and instantly the blizzard that was blinding him died off, and he could see again.

The princess, coved in blood, was gasping for breath, and as he looked around, he saw two of his companions frozen mid-swing. Another was lying on the ground with his throat slashed frozen, and he couldn't find the last one, not realizing the snow currently falling on him was his previous companion.

"Princess, I am going to enjoy breaking you." Markos growled as he looked at her

(Olivia's POV)

Olivia struggled to breathe as the giant werewolf was squeezing the life out of her, but she couldn't help as a smile barely crossed, her lips as the sword she held shattered, and she sent them flying directly into his face.

Unprepared for the attack the werewolf howled in pain as he dropped her and held his left eye, which was pierced by one of the ice shards.

Gasping for breath as she took a knee, she looked up and saw the enraged expression on Markos's face, and she couldn't help but enjoy that sight. Watching her enemy's despair and rage at the fact they couldn't defeat her awoke something within her, although she would need time to analyze these new feelings.

But a certain image came into her mind, about a particular person wearing such a face, and she couldn't help but shudder with the thrill of seeing that face in the future.
