A near death experience

"While you are thinking about this many other teams will think about the same thing. This will increase the competition around the tower. But I guess this is the best plan we have. We should do it." Sasuke agreed as we entered the forest.

A near death experience

"According to the map, the tower is in the middle of the forest. I think we should take a shortcut approach." I suggested when we are deep inside the forest.

"Let me guess, you want to use your summons to find the shortest route ?" Sasuke guessed.

"Well I feed them so it's not like they are doing this for free." I shrugged.

"Well I guess it is a good idea. We will be able to find the other teams location too. That way we can scout for a team with a client even before reaching the tower." Naruto said.

"Alright do it." Sasuke said reluctantly. He was prideful. So I could feel why he would try to not rely on others.

But before I could go through the hand signs for summoning jutsu, a large gust of wind appeared out of nowhere. I didn't even sense the casting of the jutsu.

Orochimaru couldn't ask for better entrance. There were 15 entrances in the forest of death perfect for the 14 teams. Each team went through a separate gate. But this time his team, which was disguised as a team from the land of grass, entered from the entrance, right beside the entrance in which Sasuke's team entered the forest. The distance between them was not much. So Orochimaru was able to easily track there team from distance. As he expected without a sensor, team 7 was not able to sense him coming.

He summoned a few snakes to take care of the Jinjuriki. His plan was very simple. From what Kabuto has sent him, he didn't think that he would need to test their strength. So he has decided not to play much with his preys.

Orochimaru went through the handsigns. Due to his keen understanding of the Jutsu, he didn't need to build up chakra. So there was no chance of anyone sensing him. On top of that they were already deep inside the forest. The Anbu team was stationed outside. Not to mention team 7 was in such a location where there was no surveillance cameras. It was a perfect place to attack.

He aimed the jutsu from a perfect angle. As he expected, all of them managed to react quickly . But it wasn't enough. He increased the intensity of the jutsu. As a result Naruto was not able to hold on like the other two, as the jutsu was focused on him.

As Naruto was blown away, Orochimaru summoned two more snakes to attack Sasuke and Sakura.

I cursed my luck. Why was I even hoping to not encounter the snake pedo ?

Only half an hour has passed since we enter the forest. I thought that he would take at least sometime of observing us before attacking. He must be very confident in his ability to escape. Because the distance we covered and half an hour will be covered by the Anbu in five minutes. And if they found out about him, then it will be game over.....for the anbus.

Guess what, the snake pedo is here and he is attacking us with giant snakes.

"Fuck !" Immediately unsealing my sword, I applied Chakra. Immediately at elongated and became an extremely sharp whip. Before the snake could devour me, I immidiately spun mid air building the momentum. The sharp sword cut through the snake skin. But it was unable to cut it completely. The snake hissed in pain. But that did the job as the snake missed it's mark and I landed on it's neck.

The snake immediately turned to bite me. But I was quick enough to jump it's head and swing my sword. The head of the snake was split in half and immediately got dispelled.

Looking at Sasuke, he has already dealt with the snake using Chidori.

"Kukukukuku ! What a splendid performance ! As expected of an Uchiha. And for someone who is from civilian background, you are not half bad either... Sakura chan..." The voice sent chills down my spine.

It was creepy ! really really creepy !

I was probably not with my right mind, that's why I attacked him or her. Sasuke did the same.

Orochimaru pulled out his sword from his mouth, the famous kushanagi sword.

Sasuke reached him first but he couldn't reach near him as Orochimaru caught him mid air with his hidden shadow snake hand.

With his other hand he wielded his sword and deflected my attack with no effort at all.

I knew I was a newbie. But it looked a little too effotless in his part.

"Ara Ara... How feisty !"

While he was holding his sword without going to any handsigns, he somehow sent a few hidden shadow snake hand towards me.

I quickly managed to retreat the sword and cut the head of the snakes.

But I was too focused on cutting them that's why I didn't realise friend and ominous elongated head was in front of me.

"Fuck !" That's all I could scream before he bit me.

In an instant, my body exploded in pain. I wasn't even able to scream as I passed away.

...

All I could see is snakes. All around me there were only snake. I couldn't understand what was going on. Why in the world, Orochimaru targeted me.

They started to crawl over me.

I didn't scream. I couldn't even if it was very scary. All I could do is punch to the ground and destroy the snakes around me. But they kept coming. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't remove them.

Slowly but surely this started to fully cover me.

But suddenly when I was about to completely drown in the sea of snakes, I was pulled above.

Then I found myself in utter darkness.
