Reborn as a SCP

Leo was a surgeon in the foundation who had dedicated his entire life to the foundation, entering their ranks as a surgeon's assistant the moment he was qualified. He had seen everything from agents with minor injuries up to agents who had sustained major trauma to their bodies and had lost body parts, even operatives who were affected by SCP's. However, through thick and thin Leo stayed loyal to the foundation. Eventually, Leo qualified for a level three clearance level, all he had to do was complete a minor operation on an executive agent of the foundation. However, the agent mysteriously died and Leo was found responsible for the death after a trial. Leo lamented everyone as his hate for the foundation grew. "I dedicated my entire fucking life to your cause, I have saved hundreds of your operatives and this is the fucking reward I get!?!" After Leo found out he was scheduled to be tested on an SCP that could cause a horrendous death he rebelled, resulting in him dying. When Leo died, there was only one thought in his head. "Why am I the one who must always suffer? All of this happened due to the corruption of others, I've just been a puppet in the grand scheme of everything, the foundation is a predator, and I was the prey all along. The entire foundation, no, the entire world is corrupt. It should all be purged in order for a new beginning." Suddenly, Leo heard a mysterious and dark voice calling out to him. "Do you truly wish to purge the world? To create a new one?" Leo thought he was going insane for a second but still responded. "Yes, that is truly what I want. But before that, I want to trample those who wronged me in this world!"

The plan

"Why me though, you could just use some of your own men." retorted Leo.

"Here's the thing, most of my men are very experienced with guns but less in hand-to-hand combat. I may have booked the adjacent rooms and the rooms below us but if we shoot a gun here it will surely get noticed. I also can't have a lot of people in this room during the deal since the buyer will most likely back off. Usually I would just cancel this deal but we are talking about a lot of money here. You and two of my other agents will be my backup in case something happens. See this as your payment for the travel to Poland."

"You do know that I am also not the best at hand-to-hand combat, right?"

"Yes, but you are a shapeshifter. They won't expect that."

"In that case Noah, do you mind if I make a plan myself and have your agents follow it?"

Noah seemed to be in thought for a while before responding.

"Alright, but don't fuck this shit up. You are quite literally playing with lives."

Leo nodded.

"Oh, right. Take this." said Noah.

Noah handed Leo a beige suit with stripes on it.

Leo looked at Noah with a confused expression.

"You don't really expect me to wear that, do you?" said Leo in a mocking tone.

"You will have to, I can't have you walking around in a hoodie and sweatpants like you are some trailer park trash when a multi-millionaire comes here."

Leo sighed and agreed.

"So, how long until the deal takes place?" asked Leo.

"Tomorrow at 10:00 PM in this room, from what I heard he is bringing three men with him for protection."

"Alright, that's all the information I need. Now to the next subject, tell me about the sarkic outpost you located." asked Leo with a serious voice.

Noah looked at his men and said something in Russian.

The servants quickly put a map of Malbork on the table before leaving the room.

"Alright, at the edge of the city lays an abandoned government embassy. There is a hidden tunnel that is adjacent to multiple rooms underground, it was first built in case of a terrorist attack. After it was abandoned a small group of proto-sarkists moved in and expanded the tunnel network. They now use it as their home for their rituals and beliefs."

Leo nodded.

"What exactly are proto-sarkists Noah?" questioned Leo.

Noah was surprised.

"You don't know that even though you are seeking contact with sarkicism?" asked Noah.

"Well, there isn't really a lot of public information about them." responded Leo.

"Well, there are proto and neo sarkists. To keep it short and simple the proto-sarkists believe that Ion, the founder of sarkicism is in the process of apotheosis, reaching godhood. They pray to him and believe that he will change the world upon reaching that state. The Neo-sarkists see Ion as a example, someone who came closest to reaching godhood. They don't care about the moral teachings of Ion. The only thing they are concerned about is reaching the same stage as him and surpassing him."

"And who exactly is this Ion person?" asked Leo.

"Ion is the founder of sarkicism, there are a bunch of different theories about him, some being that he is close to becoming a god, others being that he sacrificed himself for his followers, becoming a martyr. I can't really explain it myself, you're better off asking them yourself."

Leo nodded, Noah had shared some crucial information to Leo that would help him greatly.

"Alright, I will be taking my leave now. I will be making a plan for tomorrow." said Leo as he got up.

Leo shook Noah's hand and returned to his own room before dropping down on the bed.

"What am I even going to do? I think I bit more off than I can chew..." thought Leo.

The last few days had been quite hard on him, he went from a deadly mission to meeting a cult that believes in flesh and disease.

Leo slowly stopped worrying about his problems and closed his eyes instead, falling into a deep slumber.

After that bumpy boat ride he deserved it, after all.
