Reborn as a SCP

Leo was a surgeon in the foundation who had dedicated his entire life to the foundation, entering their ranks as a surgeon's assistant the moment he was qualified. He had seen everything from agents with minor injuries up to agents who had sustained major trauma to their bodies and had lost body parts, even operatives who were affected by SCP's. However, through thick and thin Leo stayed loyal to the foundation. Eventually, Leo qualified for a level three clearance level, all he had to do was complete a minor operation on an executive agent of the foundation. However, the agent mysteriously died and Leo was found responsible for the death after a trial. Leo lamented everyone as his hate for the foundation grew. "I dedicated my entire fucking life to your cause, I have saved hundreds of your operatives and this is the fucking reward I get!?!" After Leo found out he was scheduled to be tested on an SCP that could cause a horrendous death he rebelled, resulting in him dying. When Leo died, there was only one thought in his head. "Why am I the one who must always suffer? All of this happened due to the corruption of others, I've just been a puppet in the grand scheme of everything, the foundation is a predator, and I was the prey all along. The entire foundation, no, the entire world is corrupt. It should all be purged in order for a new beginning." Suddenly, Leo heard a mysterious and dark voice calling out to him. "Do you truly wish to purge the world? To create a new one?" Leo thought he was going insane for a second but still responded. "Yes, that is truly what I want. But before that, I want to trample those who wronged me in this world!"

Negotiations with a researcher

Leo walked towards the window and knocked on it twice.

The researcher looked up towards Leo, he was quite surprised that Leo made such a move already.

He had some small information on the anomaly but nothing major, all he knew so far was that it was intelligent, a shapeshifter, had ties to MC&D, and has acidic blood.

"Can you hear me?" asked Leo.

The researcher reached for a recording device and turned it on before nodding.

"Great, you can hear me. What's your rank?"

The researcher hesitated before pressing the intercom button.

"I am senior researcher Adam."

Leo was in thought for a while.

"Level three clearance... Great, that should be enough to authorize my request. Listen up, You honestly don't expect me to sleep on the floor, do you? Get me a bed or something. Atleast a mattress."

The researcher was baffled upon hearing such a bold request.

The intercom sounded again.

"SCP-6840, you have only arrived here recently and we do not know enough about you to grand this wish."

Leo's expression changed.

"Let me put it this way Adam, either you fulfill this fucking simple request or you won't be learning shit about me, I will refuse every interview request that is made and I will make sure to struggle against the simplest of requests you make, if you just give me a fucking mattress then you won't have to deal with any of this shit."

Adam was baffled once again.

Not in his entire career had he encountered a situation like this before.

He had worked with multiple other intelligent SCP's and that was why he had been given the orders to oversee the new one, all of the others simply obeyed the foundation and followed almost all orders.

Leo pretty much declared that he would not be following orders until his request was filled.

Adam first felt like playing the waiting game until Leo gave up but he knew it would not be viable.

The director wanted a report as soon as possible for some reason so time wasn't on his side.

Adam sighed before pressing the intercom button.

"Alright, just promise me that you will keep your promise, you will be sedated soon and your request will be granted. Don't think this is normal though."

Leo gave Adam a thumbs up.

Adam filled in some paperwork and after a while, gas started flowing in the room through the vent.

Leo quietly laid down and passed out soon afterward.

The reason for this request was quite simple, Leo would be here for a while and he really did not feel like sleeping on the floor.

This way he at least could think about his plan in comfort.

It didn't take long for Leo to wake up.

Adam was once again sitting in his chair and a mattress was placed in the corner of Leo's containment cell.

Adam was observing Leo with caution, if Leo did anything suspicious he would instantly call backup.

It may have just been a mattress but no one knew what Leo could do with it.

Leo sat down on the mattress and just observed Adam back.

After a while, Adam got uncomfortable and looked away.

Leo already had an opinion about Adam.

Nothing was really wrong with him, he was just dedicated to his job.

It reminded Leo a bit of his former self.

The intercom sounded once again.

"SCP-6840, tomorrow your first interview will be conducted."

Leo waved his hand towards Adam signaling that he didn't really care.

The lights in the room started dimming.

For humanoid SCPs this was more or less the lights out signal, lights never went fully out unless the SCP posed a security threat if he was in light for too long.

Leo used wasn't really tired yet and he chose to look around once more.

He took a look at the vent through which the gas came through.

"Now this is interesting..." thought Leo.

The vent was properly secured but it didn't look to be reinforced.

With some effort, Leo could probably open it.

However, it wasn't the time to do so yet.

There was nothing left to do so Leo decided to relax on his mattress, falling asleep shortly afterwards.
