135 Invisibility

A dead MTF agent laid on the ground.

Leo hit him twice in the chest and the last bullet went straight into the agents skull.

Leo started looting the agent's corpse, looking for a clearance card.

He hoped that he killed one of the agents that contained him, but sadly he was just a normal Nu-7 agent.

The agent didn't have anything on him of value but now Leo at least had a gun again, this time however it was a better one.

It was a normal M4A1 with some attachments and such but it didn't really matter to Leo as long as it fired bullets.

Leo would need a weapon for what he was about to do.

Well, he didn't really need one but it would make it a lot easier to do.

Leo hid the body and quickly continued walking, the gunshots would obviously attract some attention.

The heavy containment zone was quite big and it was like a maze, almost everything looked the same.

Leo just followed the instructions he found on the map and soon arrived at the place he was looking for.

A door was in front of Leo labelled "SCP-966".

There was a note on the map regarding the SCP, it said that they had not been breached and they had been checked up on; in case they breached infrared goggles were to be distributed due to the anomaly being invisible.

Leo wanted to learn more about the anomaly since invisibility would be quite useful to him in his revenge plan.

Most of his plan relied on this SCP, as a matter of fact.

Leo entered the containment chamber and started reading up on the SCP.

"SCP-966 are predatory creatures which were first thought to be invisible, however research has proven that they can be seen under infrared vision, SCP-966 stalks their victims with a special soundwave that humans cannot hear, by being exposed to the soundwave humans are rendered incapable of sleeping."

Leo continued reading about the SCP until he felt like he was informed well enough.

Leo couldn't help but laugh when he looked at the picture of SCP-966 since it looked a bit similar to him in his true form.

The SCP was contained in a 10x10 room lined with lead to stop the soundwaves produced by the SCP.

There were infrared cameras in the containment unit in order to view the SCP, but due to emergency power being on they were disabled.

After wandering around the containment chamber for a while Leo found a fridge filled with meat.

He also happened to find some infrared goggles after a bit more digging around.

Leo put them on and turned them on before preparing himself to enter the SCP's containment chamber.

Leo brought the meat with him along with the stolen M4A1.

Leo opened the airlock to the main chamber and stepped in it.

The airlock closed behind Leo and the door to the main containment cell opened.

Leo stepped inside and looked around cautiously.

In the top right corner of the containment unit stood a monster-like creature.

It was the SCP that Leo was looking for.

The SCP looked at Leo and took a step closer.

Leo didn't want the SCP to get any closer so he chucked the piece of meat he brought onto the top left corner of the containment cell.

The meat distracted the SCP and it ran towards it at full speed.

The monster started tearing up and consuming the meat.

Leo took off his goggles and looked towards the meat.

"Looks like he will do.", thought Leo.

The meat was disappearing and you couldn't see where it was going.

Leo put the infrared goggles back on his face and took aim towards the SCP.

Without hesitation, Leo opened fire on the creature.

When the first bullet hit the SCP it tried running away.

Three more bullets hit it and it tried running towards Leo in order to kill him.

Four more bullets hit and the creature collapsed on the ground.

Leo took aim for the creature's head and shot three more bullets, making sure it was dead.

The creature no longer moved.

Leo approached the corpse and touched it, focusing his mind.
