Reborn as a SCP

Leo was a surgeon in the foundation who had dedicated his entire life to the foundation, entering their ranks as a surgeon's assistant the moment he was qualified. He had seen everything from agents with minor injuries up to agents who had sustained major trauma to their bodies and had lost body parts, even operatives who were affected by SCP's. However, through thick and thin Leo stayed loyal to the foundation. Eventually, Leo qualified for a level three clearance level, all he had to do was complete a minor operation on an executive agent of the foundation. However, the agent mysteriously died and Leo was found responsible for the death after a trial. Leo lamented everyone as his hate for the foundation grew. "I dedicated my entire fucking life to your cause, I have saved hundreds of your operatives and this is the fucking reward I get!?!" After Leo found out he was scheduled to be tested on an SCP that could cause a horrendous death he rebelled, resulting in him dying. When Leo died, there was only one thought in his head. "Why am I the one who must always suffer? All of this happened due to the corruption of others, I've just been a puppet in the grand scheme of everything, the foundation is a predator, and I was the prey all along. The entire foundation, no, the entire world is corrupt. It should all be purged in order for a new beginning." Suddenly, Leo heard a mysterious and dark voice calling out to him. "Do you truly wish to purge the world? To create a new one?" Leo thought he was going insane for a second but still responded. "Yes, that is truly what I want. But before that, I want to trample those who wronged me in this world!"

Chatter (2)

Leo looked a bit confused when Ion mentioned a goal.

"What do you mean? You should already know what my goals are.

Ion responded casually yet firmly.

"The goal I am talking about is related to sarkicism, or have you already forgotten the terms of our deal?"

Leo shrugged.

"Not really, I just haven't had time to focus on it since I've been going through quite some shit, and you should know."

Ion raised his hand up.

"Do not worry, I know. Although I do wish for you to make it a priority to reunite with the colony and to seek out new ones."

Leo sighed.

"I'll try to do it to my best extent, but do realize that I also have stuff going on with the foundation and insurgency at the moment, everything has its place and time."

"Understandable. I wish to leave you with two goals; the first goal would be to make a connection with the hunters black lodge, the group of interest you retrieved files on."

Leo nodded and Ion continued.

"Secondly, I want you to complete the seal of Nadox, you only need two more."

"And how do you exactly want me to do that if you haven't given me a way to?"

As an answer to Leo's question, a new quest popped up.

[New mission by Ion.]

[Mission: Make contact with the Hunters black lodge.]

[Reward: Completion of Nadox' seal.]

"Does that answer your question?" asked Ion.

"Yeah, I guess it does."

"Moving on to the last thing, which is a warning."

"A warning for what?" asked Leo.

"A warning to you. I do not mind you taking your time with the task I have handed you out, but you will be making progress into the task of protecting what I built up in all those years. If you refuse to make any progress whenever you can some less than pleasant stuff may happen."

A normal person upon hearing those words would heed them, but Leo not.

"So what?" asked Leo.

Ion looked toward Leo with a grim look and he started approaching.

"Do you wish for me to display what will happen? I personally do not mind."

Leo wasn't moved by Ion's words at all.

"Ion, let me put it the exact way I did when we met each other. You need me. Unless you want to wait for a new candidate I know you won't be doing anything all too bad to me. I will make sure to safeguard what you built, but it will be at my speed. I won't be dropping everything I'm doing now so that I can help you out."

Ion stopped a couple inches in front of Leo's face before speaking.

"Just remember to do so and all will be right."

"Yeah yeah, anything else?" responded Leo casually.

Ion backed off as he continued speaking.

"No, not really. I will be sending you back now, do not forget to focus on the powers bestowed upon you."

Before Leo could respond he got woken up by the driver.

"It's time for our first switch."

Leo looked a bit confused until he realized what was going on.

"Oh, right."

Leo got out of the car and looked around.

They were near a desolate road with another car waiting for them.

Leo didn't say a word as he quickly got in and they drove off.

"What happens with the car we left behind?" asked Leo.

"Someone else will be hired to pick it up, we usually offer them a few hundred bucks, and they will pick it up without question. After that, they either get rolled by the police or foundation for the crimes affiliated with the vehicle or they get away, but we don't inform them of the risk, of course."

Leo nodded.

"I see."

Over the next day Leo and the driver switched vehicles one more time and had a rest stop before departing back to Valentina's mansion.

Once they arrived Leo quickly got out of the car, he had enough of the driving around.

As Leo approached the mansion Valentina could be seen opening the door.

"I heard everything went as planned?"

Leo nodded.

"Couldn't have gone a lot better."
