CHAPTER : 27
Arthur's prospective :
It's been nearly a month since queen Bellona left Zelda to visit her home (Morgan). This past, one month I spent a lot of time in training my Mana, and control over it, I am now able to absorb Mana at a very fast rate, Sister Diana wanted to teach me some spells, but nether of us have any idea regarding what my core type is, so we decided on practicing wind Mana, Because wind elemental Mana is accepted by both white and dark Mana cores.
The problem is sister Diana is a white core barer, so she practised fire elemental Mana mostly, so she has no idea about wind elemental Mana, Despite that sister Diana did her best to teach me a wind spell she learned in a book from the royal library but it didn't work out, So we paused on practising spells for the time being that is until sister Diana gathers enough knowledge about wind elemental Mana. I kept on trying to weld wind Mana but it never worked out, Sister Diana said that all Mana spells are similar in nature that is, "you absorb Mana, focus it into a specific point in your body, and relies it, for some reason it never works for me.
I rarely see Isabelle nowadays, I heard that she went to visit a nearby neighbouring kingdom. I wanted to thank Isabelle for many things, she saved me from drowning in the pond, she saved me when I first used Mana on the rooftop, next time I have to thank her the first chance I get. Furthermore, I asked sister Diana about how to thank a person properly in this world, She said that a proper way to thank someone is by offering a flower while showing or saying your gratitude{to put it simply, offer a flower and say thank you}.
(Arthur finishes today's training section with princess Diana and returns to his chambers, where Arthur's mother has been waiting for his return as usual, Up on seeing her son, Enola rushes towards Arthur and hugs him, and says):
Arthur : I am home, mother.
Enola : welcome back, my dear little boy, I brought you your favorite sweets just the way you like, here have some.
Arthur : Thanks a lot, mother.
(while Enola was hand overing sweets to Arthur, the plate in Enola's hand slips and fell's down on the ground and brakes, Enola then slowly picks up the broken pieces and holds them in her hands, where as she absorbs Mana and fusses the broken pieces together with her Magic, after the fusion of prices transform into a new plate Upon seeing this, Arthur says):
Arthur : mother, you are amazing, how did you do that, You created a new plate with broken pieces of the previous plate, How is that even possible.
Enola : *laughs* Hahahahahahahaha*laugh*, it's nothing my sweet little boy, you should have met my brother, he used to make glasses out of sand.
Arthur : (with a *sparkle face*) wow. I want to do it to, how should I do it, mother.
Enola : * laugh* laugh* *giggles* , it's really simple Arthur, once you learn Mana welding you will be able to do more than just this, When the time comes, I'll teach you myself.
Arthur : (with a cute sad, sparkle, question mark face), emmmm, how should I do it with Mana ?
(Enola, was overwhelmed by Arthurs cuteness)
Enola : all right all right,Arthur, I will tell you, now stop looking at me like that.
Arthur : yayyyyy!
Enola : I will try to explain it as simply as possible as to how Mana works, if you don't understand, don't worry about it, it just means you are not ready yet.
Now, Mana Is the source of all magic, to Weald any magic you need to absorb Mana, this is the first step in magic Arthur, also known as Mana absorption, Now the second step: the second step is known as conjure or tame, in the first step a person merely absorbs Mana, with a little knowledge and basic understanding of Mana, or the understanding of how Mana and Mana core works, anyone can absorb mama. Conjure or tame is a bit complicated than the first step, to Weald Mana, you need to control Mana itself, that's why this process is called tame, but controlling once Mana is just the half of the process.
The rest half of the process is knowledge of process. To put it simply, magic or spell is similar to cooking, to prepare a dish you need to know the complete process of that dish. For example, Arthur if I were to gave you a lemon, a glass of water, salt, sugar, and asked you to prepare a dish with these ingredients what would you prepare.
Arthur : well, all I can think of is lemon juice at best.
Enola : good Arthur, and do you know the process of making a lemon juice.
Arthur : I do, it's really simple. First, I have to cut the lemon and squish the lemon juice in a glass of water, and add a pinch of salt and sugar, and stir it will, then wallah, the lemon juice is ready to serve.
Enola : good Arthur, very good. Now do you understand Arthur, what I am trying to explain to you.
Arthur : Mother, I am not sure what you mean by that.
Enola : well it means, to perform magic or to convert Mana into a spell, you need to know the process of that magic, and you should have the ingredients require for that process, in this case Mana. To sum it all up simply, to prepare a lemon juice you required a lemon, water, salt and sugar, correct. You can't prepare the lemon juice, just with your knowledge alone with no ingredients correct?, The opposite is true as well, you can't prepare a lemon juice with just the ingredients alone and with no knowledge of the process. Now do you get it.
