mother's past

CHAPTER: 13

After 3 months from previous chapter events:

Arthur was now able to walk on his own for a short period of time and he became  familiar with the new language and was able to speak properly.

(One day,

Enola Louis (mother of the main character), took little Arthur to a praying chamber in the palace early in the morning and offered their prayers to the sunlight, which was falling through a huge multi Coloured window glass on the wall ( like a stained glass windows ). Enola explained to a confused looking Arthur that, this is a prayer done for the peace of the deceased. Whereas she explained that life is considered to be made of light and if a person dies it is believed that person's soul will be guided by light towards heaven or after life. The brightest light in this world is the sun So we pray to sun for our loved once safety in life and peace in death. With queen Enola and Arthur there was someone else present in the praying chambers and that person was Isabelle (Arthur's cousin).

After their prayer completed, every one retuned to their chambers. Queen Enola looked kind of sad to Arthur. Arthur reached towards his mother who was sitting on a chair, in front of her was a grand table and just before the table was a window. Queen Enola picked up Arthur off the ground and placed him on the table gently in front of her. After a few moments passed, Arthur asked his mother that " mother, whose peace were we praying for earlier. Mother Enola answered with a sad tone that, "for the peace of my elder brother".

A few moments pass by and Enola starts explaining to Arthur,

I am the 1st princess of "Artemis empire". My father died when I was young in the grate war, even my mother passed away when I was 2 years old due to illness. My brother "EDRIC LODOMIR ROSMUND" the 7th king of Artemis. Brother "EDRIC" was very protective of me ever since my mother passed away. He was just one year older than me, yet he used to take care of me, I was very weak in health and strength so  my  brother never let me out  of his  site, not for a moment. Even the king and queen of "Artemis" (parents of "EDRIC") treated me as their Own child. My father was, king's younger brother, Despite that I was treated as a hair to the throne.

After my brother became the king, he was busy in dealing with kingdom affairs so there wasn't much time left for him to attend to me. But he used to visit me when ever he got the chance. He got married to a beautiful girl named "Taitaniya windhouse ". She was the general of our army. There was a lot of opposition from our ministers and Nobles of the kingdom due to her not being a royalty or nobility Despite everything my brother married her, She was very kind and a strong woman, after a year they had a beautiful  child and it was a girl. That child was "ISABELLE LODOMIR ROSMUND".
