Time was running out for resolving outstanding debt. The 60- day deadline before which a resolution had to be in place was going to end in two days.

Ira was still not giving up. She was looking for other healthcare companies and investment groups for investments. Because of this, she was always on her phone.

'It was all Ash's fault,' she thought.

If not saved, this time, the company will go in the hands of others. Ira had somehow managed the company after the failure of the significant drug 'imatinib' for cancer by taking the whole blame on her stead.

This time, the mess was worse! It was not easy to salvage the situation.

The company now faced fraud and conspiracy charges, with investors pulling out their funds and shares. Many pharmacy chains terminated their contracts. Many of them filed lawsuits claiming continuous breaches of contract. They had to pay fines; with an added debt of loaned money for the project.

If the project was not a success, where did the money go?

There was no way to contact James. He seemed to have vanished. There was something wrong with the attitude of James and Ryan. She trusted them, but their disappearance implied their betrayal.
