Working in Her Study
When Arabella woke up, she was alone in bed.
'He must have left to do his work. I should get ready. How long did I sleep?'
Arabella wore a robe and opened the curtains to get a peek outside. The sun was high up in the sky. She gasped at the realization, she was too late for work. It was already noon.
'What about Ivan and Ronald? How are they doing? They must be having their lunch at the moment.'
She had already given them their assigned work, but they might feel out of place and abandoned without their superior with them in a foreign place.
Especially, since Ivan and Ronald were both not allowed to roam freely.
One of Ferdinand's people always accompanied each of them wherever they go so they would not notice that they were on a different continent entirely.
Arabella hadn't had the chance to give any explanation about this place and the two were occupied with work that they didn't even ask.
