Godking X
Daoist Nine Lamps had once been an existence stronger than even True Immortals. At least that was what his deepest memories were telling him.
He could also tell this from the profundity and effects of the waves Dao which he currently was also enlightened from, especially when he cross referenced his knowledge of this Dao, with the seemingly new body he had been reincarnated into, after he apparently died.
"Godking X, a mysterious existence at the very peak of the Godking realm, about to break through the shackles of the path of the Grand Era and become an Emperor Rival. However with me having reincarnated into your body after your passing, I already possess power equivalent to Emperor Contenders..."
Although it was an incredible amount of information to take in Daoist Nine Lamps, or X as he was now known, took it in his stride, almost as if he had subconsciously experienced much more incredible things than this before, and if his memories served him truthfully, he likely had as a being stronger than a True Immortal in the past.
"Now however this body is so old and decrepit I am unable to even move, however its talents truly are incredible, if not for his apparent incredible injuries this Godking X would've been destined for true greatness, instead he was forced to enter the Path of the Grand Era, hmmm... As the new existence taking over your body I guess I can help you deal with your grievances!"
Having thought this far, Daoist Nine Lamps discarded his old identity and truly became Godking X, ready to embark on a journey back to the peak of cultivation, and uncover his secrets which were locked in his memories!
"Let's revitalise this body first... These so called Saint Life Wheel and Fate level talents seem to need a lot of energy especially considering the lack of blood energy possessed by my body in its old age, however with the combination of [[Life]] and [[Blood]] it will be easy, and then back into the world I'll go, apparently this is the Heaven Spirit world of the Nine Worlds, I'll start my path of domination from here."
Having thought this far, X summoned two waves, which seemingly rose up to the heavens, one was a verdant green, the other a crimson, almost burning red, wave seemingly formed entirely out of blood.
These two waves entwined together and then thinned down, becoming as thin as needles and shooting straight into the forehead of X.
The old and wrinkled body, which appeared like a corpse, unmoving and utterly dead immediately began to undergo incredible changes, its age was reversing seemingly in a matter of moments.
Slowly a layer of hair grew back, forming a buzz cut on top of the man's head, as the rest of his body grew in stature, growing from old and decrepit, to muscle bound and youthful.
Standing at around 6 foot 3, and well muscled, as well as having angular facial features, a large forehead and piercing hazel eyes, which seemed to contain waves which reached towards the true meaning of the Dao, stood Godking X, formerly Daoist Nine Lamps.
Waving his hand a loose black robe covered his body.
At this moment, X felt a rush of ecstasy and couldn't resist letting out a thunderous laugh.
"AHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Not only have I cheated death I have been reincarnated into a talented body with a rudimentary knowledge of my supreme Dao, waves. My future path is already paved for me, now I am strong enough to contend with Immortal Emperors, and while I am not truly in this realm which Godking X referred to as Emperor Rival, I would not be hard pressed to escape one of these Immortal Emperors. And so begins my path back to greatness, and I will uncover the reason for my death and subsequent reincarnation!"
Having thought this far, X, with his newly recovered power blasted out of the cave abode he had been situated in, and emerged to find himself surrounded by a seemingly endless sea.
The sunlight from above reflected off the endless mirror of turquoise, creating a beautiful scene.
Sighing at this sight, X subconsciously felt an immense thirst for life, as if in his past he had been deprived unfairly.
At this time he reviewed his past memories, his entire life X had only focused on cultivation, an incredible talent as he was he had never gone out to fight, merely training with his master, and when he did he was severely injured in his first and only battle, by a man named Ta Kong.
He had then subsequently managed to become a Godking, however when he entered the world once more for revenge, this Ta Kong man had already become the Immortal Emperor.
Dejected, X had entered meditation, and eventually passed away, during the so called Difficult Dao Era.
However now, he had been revived, and effectively given Daoist Nine Lamps another chance at life, hence Daoist Nine Lamps vowed to take on his identity and cast off his own identity, and also deal with his grievances with the so called Space Trample mountain, Ta Kong's lineage.
"While I am unable to take on the Heaven's Will and become Immortal Emperor, as long as I continue expanding on my waves Dao and also combine that with the special methods of these worlds, such as learning an Immortal Physique, I will in no time be able to contend with an Immortal Emperor and create my own path to continue increasing my power past the so called Emperor's Rival level."
Pausing here for a moment X collected his thoughts before continuing this train of thought:
"Although I am not sure what that path will be, I refuse to merely stop as an Emperor Rival, I am sure I will be able to continue increasing my power!"
Having thought this far, X set out into the world, with his first objective being to either expand his understanding of the waves Dao to the point where he would remember how to use the 4th wave, [[Rage]] or learn an Immortal physique merit law.
X could tell that either of these methods would allow him to not be a mere Emperor Contender, but immediately become an Emperor Rival, an existence who could fight evenly with and potentially even defeat Immortal Emperors!
