When I came to, I found myself floating in a boundless white space. I felt nothing but disorientation and a strong sense of disembodiment.

What...what is this? I don't seem to remember...

Trying to access my memories, faint impressions started flowing in, then a veritable deluge of information flooded my mind.

Name...Cyril Wester. Age...26 years old. Gender...male. I was walking across the road in front of my house, trying to get lunch. After graduating university, I never got a job and just stayed at home reading novels, watching videos. I was too depressed to do anything beyond the bare minimum for sustaining life, because I always wanted my life to be different.
