Reborn as a Drake: A quest to become the strongest dragon.

What was the purpose of living anymore? These were my final thoughts before I had taken my own life, the next time I had regained consciousness I had heard a strange, booming voice. [Another one which lacks respect to the life that they have been given.] [Through hardship, you shall learn true respect of your life.] [Eliminating all riskful memories, creating new universe.] [Now you shall be placed in the most extreme possible set of conditions, struggle to live, and learn respect of your life.] These words were ringing through my mind as I reawakened, as a small lizard-like creature. In a dungeon with powerful monsters, where strength is the only absolute. I will survive this place, no matter what!

The battle's end.

The gorrilas start climbing back up, looking furiously at me, but they were slower than last time. I guess my poison did work! Hehe, that's a nice added bonus, I mostly did it just to slow them down last time.

But their numbers were still no joke, they did decrease from 8 gorrilas to 5, but they were still too many. And my stamina didn't heal after that level up, so the amount of poison I can make is pretty limited.

It's either waiting them out with poison, or going for an all out explosion with flammable poison. One of them was way cooler than the other, but I think I'll take the safe option, thank you very much.

I just need to hold back these gorrilas right? Well, they have already moved a few meters up, so now I'll have to hold them back with anything.

I create more flammable poison to trickle down the pillar I was standing on, the gorrilas, surprisingly, avoided the poison by moving to a different side of the pillar.

Crap! Looks like the same strategy isn't gonna work over and over again. Even these dumb apes can learn. Now that I think about it, most of my abilities aren't suited for holding back enemies. So what will I do?

Well, of course, I'll get new abilities.

I run around the pillar to face the gorrilas. They were now splitting up and moving from two different sides. I'm running outta time, I need to find the appropriate ability. Fast!

To hold enemies back... paralysis... paralysis... what kind of paralysis though?! Maybe a poison? Or a paralyzing breath?

[Skill found. Would you like to obtain "Paralyzing breath" for 5 points.]

I don't care if it's pricey. Gimme!

[Conditions fulfilled. Skill "Paralyzing breath" lv. 1 was added.]

Level it up! It's useless at level one.

[Increase proficiency of "Paralyzing breath" to the required amount for 7 points?]

Come on already! I don't wanna waste too much time.

[Proficiency of skill "Paralyzing breath" reached the required amount. Increasing "Paralyzing breath" to lv. 2]

Alright here it is. My paralyzing breath!

I didn't know how to use it instead of the fire one, so I was saying the skill name in my head as I breathed out.

A gas comes out from my mouth, it had some crackling and sparking in it. And when that gas falls down on the gorrilas, they start to tense up and slow down. Some of the monkeys in the back couldn't hold on any longer and fell off.

Hahaha, you shall not pass! Now I'll take care of the other "guests" so sit tight for a while here.

I run around the pillar and find the other gorrilas that were planning to surprise attack me. I use paralyzing breath again to slow them down, and just like the other squad, they were hit by it.

Ugh, but I'm feeling pretty woozy and tired from that attack. Looks like my stamina problem is rising pretty quick.

The gorrilas weren't completely paralyzed, and were still able to move. But any monkey that was affected by it was completely paralyzed.

Seeing all of them stacked above each others and barely moving like that gave me an idea.

Hey gorrilas? Have you ever stacked dominos?

I make a fireball and throw it at one of the gorrilas, I do that 3 times before it finally falls off. While it was falling, it took two of them and crashed down. I go over to the other side and do the same.

The gorrilas couldn't move that well, and the remaining monkeys were all paralyzed. This battle is now about to reach its end gorrilas.

Wait, a wounded animal is the most dangerous right? Hah, I'm not falling for that trap. Phew, I almost got too arrogant.

I get closer to the gorrilas and shoot fire bullets at them to finish them off. It wasn't enough and I felt my head get a much stronger headache.

Ep: 8/58

Guess I'll have to finish them off by hand, it's dangerous, but it's necessary.

Ok, now is the time to remove the garbage.

When I get down, the gorrilas try to attack me again, their movements were slow and I could avoid them easily.

This is a bit dangerous, I'll paralyze them more then I'll finish them off. But I am lacking in stamina, guess that means I'll have to get a little "snack".

As I avoid the attack of one of the gorrilas, I grab the body of one of the monkeys, the thing was still alive so I finished it off.

Hey, eating what you kill is a sign of respect alright? And I do want to respect these monkeys.

After finishing the meal I had, I realized that it gave me no evolutionary points, how stingy. But I had finally got some of my stamina back.

With the additional stamina that I gained, I dodge around the gorrilas while spewing more paralyzing breath, it got easier and easier as I continued, and soon. The gorrilas were down.

[Proficiency of skill "Paralyzing breath" reached the required amount. Increasing "Paralyzing breath" to lv. 3]

It was finally over, I breathed a huge sigh of relief as it finally ended. I need to finish off these gorrilas before the paralysis wears off. But man, I am so exhausted by this battle, both mentally and physically.

Well, now it's the time for your punishment, gorrilas. Because you see, you did anger me. And now for your sentence, the court unanimously agree that you will be beheaded for your crimes.

I finish off all the monkeys and gorrilas as they were paralyzed. Some of them managed to either break out of the paralysis or resist. But it was nothing to mention, and luckily, nothing bad happened.

[Required exp amount reached, lisa leveled up to lv. 12]

[4 skill points added.]

[Stats increased.]

[Proficiency of skill "Paralyzing breath" reached the required amount. Increasing "Paralyzing breath" to lv. 4]

And that was the final level up I got by killing the last of the monkeys, well, now I had a huge stockpile of points and of food. I guess life is good sometimes.

Now is the time to reveal what I've been waiting for. My status!

[Lisa] lv. 12

Species: small drake.

Skill points: 37

Evolutionary points: 13

Hp: 134/134

Ep: 65/65

Strength: 82

Defense: 67

Look at all those skill points! Oh my god, even seeing them is really cool! I guess all that pain and suffering really did pay off in the end.

But more importantly, I can now fill my stomach, yeesh, I ate all of that but I'm still hungry. What a mysterious stomach.

I guess I can also think about what to spend my skill points on, but for now, it's food time.
