Witnessing their leader Seth Galli reduced to ashes by Bruce's dragon breath, the human fighters lost all will to resist. What had initially been a challenging battle turned trivial, akin to slicing through tender shoots. The city's alleyways and streets echoed with the cries of Bruce's kin and the clashing of weapons, as rivers of blood began to flow through the Gold Coast.
The city was thrown into turmoil, a far cry from the calm of the wilderness where Bruce could simply leave after a battle. This was a bustling trading port, now in disarray, with ships wrecked by a tsunami triggered during a prior conflict between the Lord of the Void and the Demon Turtle. The debris of the ruined ships and caravans had become fodder for the sea's formidable creatures.
