The raid

Lyliana was taken aback by the sudden action of the harpies but she didn't move because of the fear of being dropped and becoming human mud. She just entrust herself to the harpy which carries her to unknown place with a slight worrying faces.

In the home of the protagonist RC there's nothing happening except out of nowhere he suddenly wake up with a bang and breathe heavily, but after a few seconds his breath became stable as he settles and sort things out. He was startled by the whole scenario he just went through, the funeral, the meeting with the devil(?) Etc ...all . But the thing which makes him most afraid was the suffocating and heavy force just before he wakes up. That feeling was like putting a tonne of iron on top of your chest. Why would that man let it loose just before he's gone??? Didn't he want me to the Gard forest?? Were the kind of thought RC currently had. Did he unleashed it just for warning? Or for other purposes. But he thought that the reason maybe because a warning. Since our MC kinda pissed him off in the first place. RC thought about the proverb which say that you must never disrespect or treat someone harsh during their first encounter since that person maybe your relatives or a very powerful man .

As no conclusion can't be made when there's no actual evidence is ,,, so he magically purifies himself and go over towards the table's map , activate it and check the forest around the incident. There's no sign of large scale movement and activities by the soldiers, but there are bunch of explorer wandering around the outskirts and around the place where I found lyliana. Truth be told , i wonder how'd she faring over there? Maybe I should have just observe her and take action according to her behaviour. So without further ado I head out from the room towards the door and after reaching the outside i use mana to fly in the direction of the Nest.

Meanwhile, in the the countryside where Alistair live was getting attack from the seaside by the pirates. They come from the sea with two large vessel each contain around one hundred people. This pirate attack the village in the morning when most villager are about to head out into the sea , but they cannot go to work because of the raid from the pirates.

Alistair was also chopping firewoods when he saw the two black vessel anchor beside the bay and many pirates comes lands into the shore using a smaller boat which contains six persons per boat. Soon after they reach shore they burn the nearest workshop and are on killing spree as they killed the bewildered villagers before they are organised.

Soon everyone heard a sound of the bell which is used when there's emergency, Alistair put on his light armour, pick up his sword and run down the peak towards the village down the sea . Before he ran off Thelma, which watch how things happen him to be careful saying that they're not your typical pirates.

Alistair run down the peak as quick as possible and soon reach the the place where the fighting occurs. There's various men, woman and teenagers who fight with everything they've got in order to protect something precious to them. But the villagers didn't have the upper hand because the pirates aren't your everyday pirates as they're more powerful than that. Many bodies with incapacitated arms, leg , shoulder and donut hole are present wherever he goes. Feeling rage beyond he never felt before, Alistair went on a rampage. He channel his mana into the sword which glows with a red hue and cut down the pirates which are playing around with the wound middle age man and another pirates who try to break into the house where some women stay and told them to head upward the house in the peak as fast as they can . After getting rid of the pirates around the town center where few of the pirates are the people or the fighting force rallies around Alistair as he fight like a well seasoned warrior which he was and after assigning many young men into their position they head towards the pier where most pirates are located. Alistair divide the group into three , the first group is lead by him and they're the main strike force with around sixty people and two other small group with twenty people each to rescue some Villagers who are stuck in their home and after they finished rescuing them they'll join the main strike force during they're engaging. They soon reach the dock where more than seventy pirates are gathered and when the two forces met each other they engage in a bloody fight. Most of the pirates aren't special, so was the villagers but the difference between the villagers and the pirates are that they fought to protect what they had with everything they've got which is a determination the pirates didn't have.

Most of the pirates are in dismay as there's no proper order. But among the pirates are a group of strong individual who are stronger and can use mana to fuse with their sword. They are the one who do more outrageous things towards the villagers, and they didn't actively fight with the villagers as they seem to wait for something. But when they see Alistair fighting with the pirates one of the four man sense something from him and order his henchmen to fight with him. The man pulls out two scimitar from behind and enters the fray where he widely swing his scimitar and capacitate the people fighting near him which also kill the pirates as well as the villagers. As he make his way towards Alistair the fray suddenly halt as the pirates makes way for him as well as the villagers.

When he almost reached where Alistair was the man suddenly dart towards him and swing one of his weapon from right to left which is Dodge by Alistair and the next strike from the left side is parried by holding the sword with two hands and place it in front of him. After the man stop he turned around and twirls one of his weapon and start advance towards Alistair. This time Alistair channel more mana into his sword which makes it looks like it was burn with red flame. And after blocking another strike he went for the man neck which the men block it with his left hand weapon but soon open his eyes wide as the weapon strike through him and his head rolls from his shoulder into the ground. The whole villagers shout out into joy when they see who's winning and they again engaged with a high morale as they are joined up by the rescue group which finished rescuing trapped villagers.

The man was furious on the loss of one of his henchmen and was about to enter the fray himself when he realises that the seven lifestone with his pouch are turning into dust , not one but seven. He quickly order his two subordinate to return to the ship and he board the board and order his two henchmen to row it quickly. As the leader decided to flee the rest of the pirates are like a swarm of fish trying to flee from the big fish who hunted them . It was chaos as the pirates try to board a boat and row towards their two ship which anchor at the bay while trying to defend themselves from the angry villagers. From the two hundred pirates only fifty managed to board the ship and he rest are captured or killed by the villagers. The pirates quickly cut off their anchor and unfold the sail and set off towards the ocean, but as soon as they're out of the bay a powerful giant fireball flew from the cliff and sink the two vessel in a one hit.
