Let the games begin

As it was decided that lyliana will go home to her home which is in the south near the sea. So the harpy are preparing for the warriors contest and it's starting today. The games are of group game .

The first games is a race against time,: in this game the participants will have to gather three relics which are put it in the key points at various parts of the forest and as they're only three the group who succeeded in bringing back will earn one point according to how many they are able to take while doing flying race. There are also some rules such as they are only allowed to engage in combat inside the key point areas and they are only able to steal or taken the relics from the other team only inside the key points. The racetrack also cross all the three key points and the starting point is from the nest and head towards the Gard mountain where the first key point is located, the second key point is located behind the Gard mountain a d the last key points is between the Nest and the Gard mountain.

There are five group present for the flying race against time each and most of the participants are younger generation than the matriach generation, each team consists of five individual; the first team is mostly comprises of bird's of prey like hawk, eagle i.e. ... The second group consists of harpy from hummingbird type, the third team is consists of heron types, the fourth team is mostly from owl (I don't even know why they participate) and the last team is a riff Raff of mix types such as peregrine falcon, owl, woodpecker, flamingo and hummingbird. Btw hummingbird are petite harpy , they are just 3 to 4 ft in height and most of them has green hair, blue eyes while some exist which have blue hair and most of the has green wings with blue tinged feather. The owls are medium in size, not too big nor small and they are of various colours while some have white plumes wings some have army brown colour wings. The heron group are slightly bigger than the owl group and they sports white wings with a red hue tip. And lastly the eagle group are of the biggest type and there are various species from Condor, ospreys, common eagle. Each of the eagle group are of huge compare to the hummingbird and they are the most likely to win the first contest as they can fly very fast and has powerful eyesight.

There are guard And elder watching the game from high up and hidden inside the woods just in case something out of control happened to the contestants during the contest. And I too was one of the overseer, as a dragon I can observe the contestants high up from the sky with my mana imbued eyes.

After breakfast most of the participants are gathered near the starting point and the crowd are also there to cheer for their kinsmen or their relatives. But almost all of the other group are seems to avoid the mix harpy's group or the fifth group which is consist of various species. But as the game is about to begin i fly up into the air for better view and soon reach my position for the first few minutes and wait for the game to begins.

Harpy are kinda prideful, or you can say that as all of them are women and warrior as the same time and they hate humans especially male . So it's unsaid that a harpy who is unable to kill human, never kill one or has a parent who never killed a human before are looked down upon. And there's very few harpies or you can say that a few weird individuals among them who thinks that killing isn't always the right choice and only must do the killing when one' life is threatened. That was deem taboo by the elders of the harpies but didn't want to punish, ostracize or expelled them from the tribes as it may leads to another's 'matriarch case' , so they decided to let the do as they will as long as they didn't do any harm to the nest. That was what some of the harpies from the fifth group think, mainly by Hailin , a hummingbird species, she never meets any human but her parents are once save by some humans from a Griffin attack and so they want to repaid by not attacking and participate in the killing of humans. The other harpies in her team are mostly her friends which she grown up with , so they are good friends for her.

As most human in modern day also have different strength and capabilities according to their up bringing and experience, the harpies also have different abilities according to their species. Eagle species are capable of seeing enemies from long distance and are always use as lookout, owls species are uses as lookout during night because of their night vision, heron species are use for long distance travel and excursion because of their long flight abilities, hummingbird and other small species bird aren't much use because of their weak strength And unable to flights very fast for a long time but are good for spying and information gathering as they can run away undetected due to their small size and good reflex.

Ailin is a daughter of spy as both her mother and father are once uses as information gatherer inside the empire before Ailin was born and that's where they encountered a kind human man who rescue them when they are discovered and trapped by a thugs who are part of the underground force in the empire. Both of them are extremely grateful that they decided to teach their child not to harm any human if she can as a thanks to the kind human who once save them.

Luckily their child Ailin was good hearted and somewhat naive but kind , so she accepted her parents teaching. As a former spy both of Ailin parents are extremely good at close combat in air and free space so their abilities are hand down to Ailin who is still having training as she may need to gathered information just like her parents once do.

As the team are line up for the game Ailin and her friends also stood ready while revising their strategy as some eagles harpy who are also contestants walks past them and smirk while saying "A coward and her dumb friends are also participate in the game?? What an abomination" just audible to Ailin and her friends.

As they gathered into the starting point the matriach gives signal starting the game and as soon as the signal is given the participants shot out from their standing place.
