Chapter 7: POV Change Part 1

POV change:

Yao Shuren and her twin sister Yao Zemin were traveling with a merchant caravan that was crossing the bone mountains i was a much cheaper way to get out of YiTi and the Jade sea than by ship due to the high prices due to the ridiculous taxes that Qarth has for a ship to be allowed to cross the jade gates and the straits of Qarth, she and her sister could not afford the voyage and joined the caravan, they managed to pay for the space in one of the carts as passagers.

Their parents forced them to run after they accepted an arranged marriage for her an her sister to Ye Qan, a filthy rich older man in his late forties that was to marry both of them, her and her sister the same day, not only she was supposed to share a the same husband with her twin sister, the man was older than her father and they were getting married the same day. which meant they would share the same bed the night of the wedding, the three of them.

They packed as many of their valuables as they could and ran, joining the caravan that was headed this way of the bone mountains.

It all went well until the caravan stopped the third day in the bone mountains, a strange man seemed to be heading the same way they were going and paid handsomely to the merchants to join them, he was a young Andal man of similar age as them, he spoke fluent YiTish, he was friendly and shared anecdotes of his travels.

A week later after we had crossed and finally exited the pass that we were using to cross the mountain everything changed. That night she saw the young man cut his forearm and bleed into the campfire while chanting in a language she did not understand, a very strange vapor started to emanate from the campfire, it made her weary. She grabbed her sister and they tried to run but before they could make it out of camp she lost consciousness.

The next thing she remembers is moving and doing tasks that the man ordered her to do,

the first one at that was to pile up the bodies of the caravan members, she tried to escape only she could not move her body at will, her sight was like watching the world through a thin curtain made of fine silk, she walked, ate, slept and did everything the man commanded her to do while being in a prison made of her own flesh. Yao Shuren saw her little sister there too, as well as two other travelers from the caravan, a woman from Leng and a Sarnori.

The man robbed the merchants, loaded all the things he considered valuable in one cart and then they proceeded to head West.

For the next month the man traveled with them, in that month we passed Lhazar, went northwest past the mountains and were now on a full western course for the past few days.

The man, no. The monster that held them captive has used his sorcery on others, the first one on this side of bone mountains was a sheep herder that crossed our path, the Sorcerer made herder cut his own throat while smiling. Then he loaded his corpse in the back of the wagon and started to do his experiments.

For the next few weeks we have met two dothraki scouting parties, he has used the same trick on them, she has seen it enough to know, first he makes them unconscious with his spell then he either mind controls them or just simply kills them, cuts out parts of the bodies and then puts them back together, he uses our blood in a ritual on a Jade tablet carved up with runes, then to animate the abomination he places the Jade instead of the hearth of the monster that he has put together when the ritual is completed he then lets it lose to roam around attacking anything that is alive.

The last "flesh golem" as he calls them that he created had four arms and three human heads attached to a torso that was connected to a beheaded horse, the Sorcerer gave it four Arakhs and set it lose, when she is ordered to sleep she still has nightmares about the way the creature looked at her with dead eyes.

The Monster that held them captive liked to talk and explain what he was doing while he made them watch him work on the corpses, the reason behind this was because he enjoyed it, he enjoyed tormenting us since he knew that we could see, smell and feel everything but we could not move or do anything about it.

the night the third Scouting party arrived she had hopes, hopes that the dothraki would just ride them down and not ask questions, not talk with the Sorcerer pretending to be a merchant, that they would just kill them all and for this nightmare to be over, she would even prefer to be dothraki slave rather than this, at least then she could complain or move her body on her own, and not being a puppet on strings.

But just like before all hope was lost as she saw that the Dothraki were more preoccupied with groping them than to killing that monster.

As she was seeing the Sorcerer killing the warriors she could not believe her eyes as one of them jumped what seemed to be feteen feet and in the blink of an eye, faster than any human possibly could move, cut off one of the legs of the sorcerer followed shortly by his head, the joy she felt was short lived since the moment the head of the Sorcerer flew everything started to fade to black quickly and she lost consciousness.

After some time she woke up to the sounds of metal hitting metal, she opened her eyes and her headache was killing her but she saw two of the dothraki fighting each other.

Using this distraction she rolled closer to her sister and started to shake her to wake her up.

It took her a few seconds but her Twin sister groaned as she opened her eyes

"wake up, we need to untie each other while they are fighting" She whispered to her sister as quiet as she could as she started to try to undo the knot that held her sister's wrists bound together.

After struggling for close to a minute she was nowhere close to undo it. 'what kind of cursed knot is this?' she thought while desperately trying to find a way to undo it, but with her wrists also being bound it made it difficult to mover around a knot she could barely see with the light from the burning cart in the background.

When she heard the two dothraki stop fighting she froze and looked at them, they where whispering while giving them glances ever so often, this was bad.
