Grade 1 Cursed Spirit + Conference of Elders

The sky was clear with the moon hanging high up, as if looking down on everything. The rays of moonlight shone brightly, dispersing the darkness and revealing Inei's nighttime mode.

Around 2.3 meters tall, he towered over Gojou and the first years. His arms grew longer so that his razer-sharp claws would grate against the ground as he walked. His shoulders grew broader with his arms growing thicker. His previously white eyes and mouth had turned into a glowing golden, giving off an aura of majesty. A seemingly endless amount of cursed energy started oozing out of him.

"Aaaahh, feels good to be in this form," Inei chuckled.

Gojou frowned slightly. Inei's personality seemed to have changed. He didn't notice this change when Inei had transformed during the previous couple of days because he had kept him underground while bound up to prevent accidents from happening. Now, however, Inei seemed to become slightly more confident, similar to a certain prideful sun warrior.

Inei bent his head to look at the group, his eyes glowing slightly brighter.

"So what now?" His voice, which had grown deeper, sounded out as he looked at Gojou.

Gojou smirked before replying, "You will be coming with me to fight a Grade-1 Cursed Spirit today"

Hearing this, Nobara and Yuuji protested, ""Hey! What about our dinner?""

"You guys can go with Megumi," Gojou didn't take no for an answer before grabbing Inei and teleporting away.

Yuuji and Nobara looked at each other before staring at Megumi.

"Megumi, where are we eating?"

A 30 meter long blood red snake slithered towards Inei, curling up before pouncing at him. Long fangs revealed themselves as they pointed towards him. Inei grabbed the snakes snout with one hand before yanking both of the fangs out with the other. The snake cried out in pain before slapping its tail towards him.

Inei slammed the snake against the ground, disorienting it, before piercing its head with his foot long claws.

"Superhuman physical prowess, tremendous amounts of cursed energy, and attacks that target the soul. Hehe, those old fogies sure will be surprised..." Gojou rubbed his chin while commenting.

Inei stayed silent before asking, "So what are you planning to do with me?"

"You will have to form a Binding Vow with someone that the higher-ups choose to not hurt any humans or jujutsu sorcerers".

Inei frowned as he asked, "Binding vows should benefit both parties, what do I get in return?"

"In return, jujutsu sorcerers under the command of the elders won't be able to hurt you. You will be treated as a human jujutsu sorcerer. If we deem you trustworthy, we will also allow you to acquire some cursed techniques," Gojou answered.

"Hmm," Inei nodded.

Gojou smiled before saying, "You'll have to participate in a meeting with the elders. Don't worry about altering the terms and conditions of the vow, they wouldn't dare do anything to you with me around."

"Alright, when is the meeting?"

"Right now".

"Eh?"

...

...

...

"State your name and purpose," An old man sitting on a wooden chair said as he stared at Inei, his hand twitching.

"Hajime Inei. To form a binding vow with the society of Jujutsu Sorcerers".

"What are the terms of your vow?"

...

Soon, Inei and the elders decided on the terms and conditions of the vow:

1) Inei will not hurt any Jujutsu Sorcerers or Humans unless given permission by a respectable sorcerer or in self defense.

2) Inei will be treated as a human Jujutsu Sorcerer, and as such, will be given the rights of one.

3) People who are against this agreement will be forbidden from attacking Inei.

4) Failure to abide by these will result in the mental extinguishing of the encroaching party.

...

When they left, Inei left with Gojou. Apparently, Megumi had contacted him saying Yuuji had died.

When he heard this, Inei started to contemplate about his future in this world. Should he fuck up the plot? The manga only had a few arcs anyways, so it wouldn't matter if he doesn't have future knowledge.

'Meh, I'll just do what I want'

Inei was not a coward in the traditional sense of the word. He was fearful of death, sure, but he was not one to shy away from taking risks. Him making a vow with the elders could be considered as him taking a risk. The penalty for breaking the vow was mental extinguishing. He has an innate ability to control his mind, so he created a secondary mind with no intelligence before making it take the vow. Thus, even if he broke it, it wouldn't matter. Of course, he had never tested this, but it has a high probability of working.

Currently, he has two options: help revive Sukuna, or continue being a jujutsu sorcerer. For the first option, he just had to stay away from the plot, as it was implied in the manga that he would revive regardless. Sukuna, however, has no obligation to spare him, so that was a no-go.

The other option was better, stay a jujutsu sorcerer, then leave later on. For this to work, he had to make sure Gojo didn't get sealed, because that would rob the Jujutsu Sorcerers of their strongest pillar. He couldn't prevent Sukuna and Yuuji from making a vow, but he could alter it so that Yuuji would remember it.

While he was deep in thought, they had reached Shouko's laboratory. When Gojo saw the gaping hole in Yuuji's body, a faint hint of murderous intent oozed out of his body.

He looked towards Shouko and asked, "Dead?"

Shouko nodded apathetically.

"You know, he'll revive eventually, right?," Inei looked towards Gojo and said.

"Really?"

"Yeah, he is Sukuna's vessel, so it would be improbable if Sukuna let him die."
